Couple married 67 years holds hands in final hours together

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — After spending 67 years together as devoted
husband and wife, there was no question how Floyd and Violet Hartwig
would end their lives — together.
Sensing the couple was close to death, their children pushed their two
hospice beds together and gently placed their father's hand in the
mother's palm.
Floyd, 90, died first. Violet, 89, followed five hours later. They died
Feb. 11 at home, just as they had wished, the family said.
"They wanted to go together," their daughter, Donna Scharton, said Thursday. "It was meant to be that way."
The two knew each other as children, growing up in the Central California farming community of Easton. Romance
sparked at a local dance hall one night when Floyd, a decorated Navy
sailor, was home on shore leave. They were married on Aug. 16, 1947, and
while away Floyd showered Violet with affection through love letters
the family cherishes.
Returning home for good, the two raised three children on their small farm, growing cotton and raising turkeys. Violet helped on the ranch and kept the house. She prepared breakfast early each morning for her husband, seeing him off to work as a ranch foreman and delivering eggs.
"They were dedicated to each other," Scharton said. "Even other people who met them said they had that connection."
The couple, who had four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, remained active until recently. Around
the holidays, the family noticed that Violet's dementia had worsened,
and in late January a doctor said Floyd's failing kidneys gave him two
weeks to live.
The family moved the couches from the living room of their ranch house,
making space for the hospice beds. Cynthia Letson said that after her
grandfather passed, they told her grandmother that she could go, too.
They told Violet that Floyd was waiting for her.
Letson said her grandparents are a positive example at a time with too many broken marriages.
"It would be nice if the world got back to the core of marriage," Letson
said. "I don't think people realize that anymore. They need to go back
to the basics that marriage is forever."

Can
I start with sixty per-cent of USAns that are acknowledged, validated
and carefully named the food insecure? Six out of every ten of my
neighbors go hungry habitually. I am not a big believer in statistics.
My lying eyes tell me that the number is significantly higher in my urban neighborhood; commonly called the ghetto.
My
ghetto is actually beautiful, it would be paradise on earth if it was
not densely packed with struggling old folks and impoverished, neglected
children. To paint you a picture I was told by a police officer that
he was afraid to come to my street because even with back-up the people
will gather and confront and even threaten police officers. That is
what the man, who was early forties, looked in good shape (not a do-nut
and nap type at all) yes that is what THE MAN said.
There
are hand guns all over, on this fourth of July those with guns will
use the cover of the flash bang noise makers, cherry bombs and
firecrackers to shoot with impunity for at least the next five days.
Today even those with only shot guns will be blasting away -- bread and
circuses anyone?

does that have to do with the Fourth? Quite a lot in fact, Alicia Keys
is endorsing American support for Israel in the context of breaking the
Boycott, Divest and Sanction campaign pleas from Palestine and hundreds
of thousands or millions who want the US/IZ/UK to immediately cease and
desist their ongoing criminality.
The
manipulation of Miss Keys a genuine icon for youth as a role model for
youth is obvious. The young will disbelieve the truth, they will deny
their lying eyes; she is in fact endorsing Israeli apartheid.
Independence Day, some wit's idea of dry humor?
We
were deliberately programmed with behavioralism to be good working wage

Alicia Keys on wrong side of Apartheid
The Palestinian call for boycott, divest and sanctions
The US Campaign for
the Academic & Cultural Boycott of Israel (USCACBI) has an article
at the link about the impact of cultural icon Alicia Keys' Fourth of
July performance in Israel, despite the many pleas for her to cancel.
It is believed by many that the BDS
campaign is bearing fruitful results, especially in comparison to three
years ago. Not many socially conscious, moral performers will perform
in Israel and Miss Keys had a reputation for her work for children....just not Palestinian Children, in my opinion.
The link is very detailed and can tell the story and context more precisely than I can do.
Today's personal pain is wondering
what evil, wicked people threatened her with. Most definitely the
mysterious "they" will have warned her that her career can be **quashed and her own person harmed either physically or through the Israeli-firsters' efforts, a la Helen Thomas.
My message today is a plea to our
Almighty Creator to strengthen my will to make difficult moral decisions

The Power of Acceptance
Before revealing today's personal pain, I'd like to offer a short meditation from May 26th Warriors of the Rainbow:
"There is a concept that says you move toward and become that which you think about. If we think about everything as interconnected and interrelated, we will begin to accept the greater whole and that there is a power who is in charge. If we see the cycles of life, if we see the inner powers, if we see the interdependence of the universe, then we will participate in a harmonious way. We all need to pray and meditate on this. We need to understand the property of unity.

Today
my struggle is ordinary pain. I forgot, for a fleeting month or two
that I am alone in this world, except for my Creator.
I
believe in Their is One Creator of all things, visible and invisible,
worthy of all praise. I am humbled and ashamed of my childish needs
for assurances of being loved, of being valued.
I am
no stranger to being alone, and I thank God Almighty for this test,
this struggle that stretches out before me. I pray I am granted the
strength and charity to remember to smile and be kind to others, on this
once again, lonely journey.

The smearing of Obama
I read an article from the
Palestine Chronical today. It was called US Nakedness: Zero
Consequences for Israel. The author, Iqbal Jasset, was writing about
Netanyahu's disdain regarding Obama's offer to give billions of dollars
for jets, a permanent veto at the UN, any time Israel desires.
We have this other government official initially boasting about telling Netanyahu that Israel had no worries with the freshly elected or reelected, in fact they could count on him (think his name is Senator Berman)and his newly elected Republican colleagues would over-ride an Obama veto for the zionist cause in Palestine.
This is the US stark naked and humiliated in front of the entire world. Remember that old saying, "even a cat can look at the queen." Well here are the folks of our world seeing Obama brushed aside, because Israel has a lock on Congress, the Senate, and AIPAC plus perpetual funding.
And where is Obama's shame, to be sending billions upon billions of dollars directly into the pockets of the Military/Industrial/Media bosses, while American children are hungry and obese.
There is no shame is saying I quit this costly, unproductive, bloody, accursed war. It is over. Shut down those bases, Americans are not welcome anymore. Let's not go into all that today, that requires a book to explain.

It is against maritime law to attack ships in international waters, and even in times of war it is illegal to board a ship on a humanitarian mission, trying to bring desperately needed medicines and other goods for the illegally imprisoned people of Gaza.
Israel also murdered 9 humanitarian activists, eight of whom had Turkish citizenship and one American/Turkish dual citizen, Furkan Dogan.
His name should become as familiar to the concerned for justice of the world, as Gilad Shalit.
Unfortunately, those of us interested enough are struggling to gain footing in the world's media, which in USA at least, the Palestine/Israeli conflict are for the large part seen through the Zionist/USA lens.
The Palestinians enjoy the high moral ground in international opinion, imho what is needed is to keep filming, blogging and donating. Devote what you possibly can in terms of time and joining the growingly successful Boycott, Divestment and Sanctuary movement.
Stop the $30 billion dollar handout to Israel, is one up & coming movement. While our own children are hungry, while our own country's infrastructure is crumbling, why should we give aid to Israel? That money is needed here.

300 Racist Rabbis
This week there is a new media sensation, the information that first
fifty rabbis had issued a religious edict forbidding Jews to rent or
lease land to non-Jews. Approximately two hundred and fifty more rabbis
endorsed this.
I cannot help thinking these racist laws are an echo of the Nuremberg Laws of the 1930's. That was when Germany started with the blatant boycott of Jews. Jews became targets with little recourse but to accept their situation against the hysteria, hatred and fear.

The State of Palestine
I am feeling elated at the news that Brazil and Argentina have
recognized the state of Palestine on the '67 borders. This brings the
count to six, the four others are Costa Rica, Cuba, Nicaraugua and
Venezuela.
Uruguay said it will recognize the Palestinian State in 2011 and France has said that they too will recognize Palestine.
Of course the USA, being that it knows everything, wants the world to wait and keep on accommodating the zionist project that has been a sixty-three year failure and misery to the peoples of the Middle East.
Tonight as I sit here warm & snug at the computer, the children of Palestinian Muslims and Christians are being targeted by the lawless IOF, IDF, PA and by targeted, I mean dragged from their beds in the middle of the night, beaten ~ often severely enough to cause broken bones, hooded, cuffed and interrogated with no attorney or family member permitted to be present.

Have you heard Sinead O'Connor's song called Famine? There are many

In the song Famine, Sinead sings/raps that there never really was a famine because the whole time of potato crop failure, England moved under armed guard, cattle, fish, fruits, vegetables and grain to England. Leaving the Irish to starve, dependant on the meager pinches of 'charity', which was looked down on because it encouraged dependance,and donations from America of cattle corn, not fit for human consumption.
My own Father's Mother emigrated to USA because of the hunger and poverty. The way it worked (according to Gramma) was her only surviving brother, Martin, would inherit the farm(which I believe was rented) because he had to make a living to support a family. Probably why so many Irish families promised at least one son to the Catholic Church priesthood, all economic survival. Wonder if it also explains the military?
My Grandmother's parents decided that she would go to USA, get one of those 'high wage factory jobs' and send her pay check home, what she didn't need to live on. My Grandmother sent money home to Ireland her entire life. Though how she managed with all those mouths to feed and a husband who struggled for employment, even huckstering. My father would go with him and I think they were the happiest days of my Father's childhood.
My Grandmother's youngest, of nine children, was born in 1931. My Gram felt food insecure her whole life, from Ireland to America. I wonder if my fear of famine is a genetic memory?

Is there anti-semitism rampant in the world? Using an agreed upon
definition of anti-semitism as universal distaste for those who identify
as Jews, and by implication identify those of us non-Jews as gentiles.
Today I read an article on Who Profits, a great web site that I'll have to paste the link in later, that stated there are 135 Israeli settlements on OPT (occupied Palestinian Territory ~ which is the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem).
In addition there are dozens of 'outposts', which are caravans that are parked wherever an Israeli Jew wants, they see themselves as pioneers. Most are unfortunately rabidly racist and armed to the teeth.
If you read an American(USA) or Israeli news article it might state the same facts as: there are 135 settlements(really little cities) in the 'disputed' area of 'Judea and Samaria', Jerusalem, the eternal and indivisible capitol of the Jewish and Democratic State of Israel.

Occupy USA
This is my city - notice more police than people.
Among the many reports that Kellog Brown Root, a subsidiary of Halliburton has been commissioned to get detention centers in all 50 states ready for occupants.
I remember reading that the largest detention centers are in Alaska and outside of Chicago, Illinois. In Western Pennsylvania they have refurbished (rehabilitated haha) one of the elderly prisons or juvenile detention centers, the one they used to call Morganza, if memory serves.
The police are all suited up in their anti terrorist uniforms and many fear it is US citizens that will be rounded up, for at best, indoctrination.
I do not want to speculate on what will be the worst that will happen.
Nevertheless, let me warn you if there is a tornado, flood, or other wide spread disaster, it is my advise to all that you should stay in your home. If the government instructs you, like they did in New Orleans, to go to a sports arena, do not do it.
Those people in Louisiana sweated and went days without food, they were thirsty, there were no provisions. We all saw the corpses bloating in the sun for days. These government types are not our friends, we are just the means to a pay check.
The decision is yours, but I will not go willingly and that is all.

Many people have suffered; Japan, China, Russia, Cambodia, Viet Nam, Haiti, Panama, Bangladesh, Tibet and the gross attempt at genocide in Rwanda? Why are there no clever lawyers or cunning advocates to secure money for survivors of these and countless other victims of aggression?
How about the survivors of Iraq, the cradle of civilization? Afghanistan, graveyard of empires, Pakistan, Lebanon, Libya, Tunisa, Egypt where millions have been brutally slain by US/Nato aggression, who is negotiating for reparations for the murdrs & unwarranted aggression?
And of course Palestine, the Holy Land, land of peace and prophets. Why are there no museums dedicated to the memory of Nakba? We in USA saw the streets run red with blood, choked with the swollen, slain bodies that medics were thwarted from retrieving,they were eaten by dogs. We saw some of the terror in real time.
The showers of white phosphorus, the injuries that confounded doctors who were dealing with weapon such as dense inert metal explosives DIME that caused loss of limbs, and shrapnel so small the wounds were virtually untreatable.

The matter of the 'Israel' against the whole world is due to Israel's adamant refusal to abide by UN resolutions and international law. Now you've obligated yourself & Pennsylvania to Israel, the proud occupiers of Palestine for over sixty years. You have put us in this position by accepting AIPAC cash & your recent junket to Israel.
Every time I wrote I implored you not to let yourself be stranded on the wrong side of history.
You have a parochial Roman Catholic foundation like I do. You know in your heart you have to live with your conscience, you cannot lie to yourself. The rites & trappings of religion may fall away but I think not your moral foundation, what you learn in your innocent years stays with you longest. So I don't know or care to know how you deal with religion today, what I care about is how you conduct the business of the USA.
Senator Casey, this is your time to take charge and take action. You could pick up that Palestinian Cross and bear some of the burden for those Christians & Muslims living under the zionist boot of oppression and occupation. You could aid the disposed refugees, who want nothing more than to go home.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center wants to build what they call a "Museum of Tolerance." The major sticking point is that the location they chose is Mamilla Cemetary which dates from the era of Salah Udin, and has been used continuously until the capture of Jerusalem in 1967 by zionists.
There are videos on YouTube of zionists bulldozing the cemetary after midnight, under the cover of darkness. When the operators of the Caterpillar bulldozers noticed they were being filmed they quickly departed.
I deduce from that fact that the zionists are aware they are desecrating a protected area, a Muslim heritage area.

Arborocide In Palestine
I've just read an article from Christian Peacemaker Team in Palestine,
'Tuwani-Reflection on Healing Trees.' The author talks of the emotions
when viewing trees that have been vandalized by Israeli occupiers of the
Palestinian Occupied Territories. Ends her post by telling of the
feeling of healing when they did what they could to repair the damage
& water the trees.
The banal,everyday wickedness is human beings destroying other human being's livelihoods; in this case living, breathing trees. Zionists, for no other reason than ability to agress,and torment with no consequences, are serial offenders. These orchard cultivators and nurturers endure continuous misery of being bullied by Zionist racist groups that view themselves as omni-entitled by their Biblical deity, to the land of generations of Palestinians' ancestors, even though the latest polls I've read state that 60% of Israeli Jews consider themselves atheists.
The olive tree is the symbol of Palestine, imo. It is a sturdy tree that survives and thrives in Palestine's delicate ecosystem. Olive harvesting is now fraught with danger, but in the past it was a celebration-before zionism.
The olive branch is a universal symbol of peace. I am reminded of Yasser Arafat's poetic address to the United Nations, when he said (paraphrase here - 'I've come with an olive branch'). And certainly of the Biblical story of the dove returning to the ark with an olive branch in its' beak, after the flood, connoting safe land.

Goldstone on my Mind
Lesson learned from reflections of Judge Goldstone's April 1,2011 NYT op-ed.
Never underestimate the power of shunning, shaming, and routine, ordinary hate to manipulate people.
IMO there was a problem from start, appointing Goldstone to head the investigation into war crimes and policies in the '08-'09 state sponsored terror attack on the corralled Gazans. Action endorsed by USA, including delivery of more military hardware, and overwhelmingly validated by USA Congress.
Goldstone is an avowed zionist. He boasts impressive credentials from S.Africa,where he was adept at adapting, both pre and post apartheid. He was appointed to look into 'alleged' Jewish and Arab war crimes during Israeli operation tagged Cast Lead. IMO this is a suspicious conflict of interest. No matter how impeccable his credentials are/were, there must be another reputable judge in the world who is not an active, participating Zionist...right?
Media opinions on Goldstone's mea culpa, if I only knew then what I know now, ranged from nothing new to complete exoneration of Israel. Even further, fresh blame was flung at Hamas for not bothering to investigate itself at all.
Yes it is that inane. Goldstone had no access to Israeli soldiers or policy planners, the Israeli government declined to cooperate with the UN commission, because of security reasons...I'm guessing here, Israel's rationale is available in US media.
When I read the op-ed it stung me that Goldstone didn't even bother to spell the
Samouni family name correctly. I thought, how would he like it if his name was spelled as Geldstone, or worse?
Was he so browbeaten & egocentric, worried about being de-friended, banned from the club, that he turned his back on the law and the occupied prisoners of Gaza?
See how those with power & position are flawed with the proverbial 'feet of clay'? He looked at brazen racism, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and sought to ease the impact; for his chosen side.
The first clue was when he did not recuse himself. If I were a gambler, I'd wager that Judge Goldstone believed that he could serve justice and Zionism simultaneously, no problemo.
The Report was received with praise,as fair, even-handed, impartial by US msm.
Of course Israel didn't like it all, they 'only' dropped white phosphorous to improve their vision, there was a well worn buzz phrase for every accusation.

The name of the planned assault, cast lead, named after a Hannakuh tune about a toy, a cast lead dreidle imo, speaks volumes about the zionist mindset. Equating war with child's play, toys, consequences seemingly unimportant, spilled blood ok as long as it isn't their's.

Is the Goldstone Report good for Palestinians? I vote yes, it adds to the weight of continuing crimes. Floundering for excuses it reveals itself as grasping, and above all else Israel is deceptive. No friend of US. and definitely no peace seeker.

Today, 5-27-11, Senator Pat Toomey R(PA) voted to crush medicaid and
rely on a system of vouchers in place of single payer insurance. The
song surely does remain the same.
Voters need to challenge this head on by going after congressional & senatorial medical coverage, there are no poor in either house, far from it. If that doesn't work, I'm aware of quite a lot of perks that the public shouldn't have to pay for.
If times are so dire that Senators have to target the vulnerable, why not a new tactic? Let the budget cuts start from on high, government(ahem)servants first.
We on the bottom have been 'it tagged' in this game way long, woefully too long.

I've been haunted by this videoall
through this 4th of July patriotic orgy. My neighbors bought out the
fireworks store and my poor dogs are traumatized from all the excesses
of booms, cracks, thunderous flash bangs. My mind went to the
sixty-five long years of military excesses that the inhabitants of
Palestine have endured.
I wonder if the zionist entity's jets are still spitefully breaking the sound barrier to cause sonic booms. After the expulsion of the illegal land usurpers in Gaza, the practice of terrifying the people of Gaza with night after night of such malevolent abuse was destabilizing, especially to children.
The video of the Israeli military/police person kicking a small child with all the casual cruelty of unabashed racism. He would probably tell you he has no problems with Arabs, some of his best friends are Arabic, and not even a hint of irony.
If this had happened in the USA, those police personnel would be fired, retired and sued within an inch of their lives. The people would insist that this go to court, we wouldn't stand for it, would we?
The video camcorders and new technology are the Palestinians steadfast friend. You can't call that vicious kick anything but what it was, a subtle form of ethnic cleansing/genocide and a man on child assault.

Khader Adnan makes deal to end Strike
We have news today from the Guardian that Khader Adnan
has agreed to a deal with Israel to end his hunger strike, today on his
66th day with no food. In exchange the Israelis have agreed to free
him on April 17th, unless they find 'additional' evidence.
This announcement came just hours before the Israeli Supreme Court was to hear Adnan's case in regard to Administrative Detention. This Administrative Detention means the prisoner has no idea of what s/he is charged with or what evidence has been gathered, if any. The Israelis were terrified that the Supreme Court would rule against this egregious violation of human rights.
I found it particularly revolting when Israeli spokesperson Mark Regev said, (paraphrase) Other countries do it too, like a whiney 9 year old.

#Dying2Live Adnan's Hunger Strike
Today, Wednesday, February 15, 2012 is the 60th day of Sheikh Khader Adnan's hunger strike. Mr. Adnan is a political prisoner arrested by Israeli Occupation Authority, (IOA). He is under administration detention in violation of International and Humanitarian laws.
Under administrative detention Adnan is not privy to the charges against him, what evidence the IOA has against him, and a litany of other abuses which is what Khader Adnan is protesting by his hunger strike. If Mr. Adnan does not survive, the responsibility will rest entirely on the IOA and the Israeli occupation itself. His condition has deteriorated perhaps to the point of no return.
Twitter has many tweets concerning the hunger strike, hash tag #dying2live. So many of us would choose food before dignity and that is what Adnan has done. People stand in solidarity with Adnan around the world, we all admire a person who resists oppression. The outcry from the world is for Israel to release Adnan immediately and to end their torment and persecution of Palestinians. Israel must end their deliberate use of torture, administrative detention, and ignoring UN resolutions. The United States must rouse their elected officials out of their apathy towards Palestine and their subservience to 'their best friend and ally.'

The Caterpillar vs The Olive Tree
Is there anyone out there who hears the word Caterpillar and does not immediately think of Rachel Corrie? Her life was brief but her impact is still earth-shaking.
Rachel dedicated her life to humanitarian causes.
Her family could not persuade the elected officials of Congress to investigate her death. United States elected officials are very reluctant to question anything that Israel does. It isn't likely that you're unfamiliar with her biography but on the off chance you are; she was crushed to death in Palestine by an Israeli driving a Caterpillar Bulldozer.
The Israeli government put the soldiers that buried Ms. Corrie alive on trial. The bulldozer driver testified behind a screen, supposedly for his protection. I'm not sure how that trial ended, you see the main stream media in the USA have a habit of omitting any information that is critical of Israel.
Now why did I bring up the Olive Tree and say versus the caterpillar?
The Olive Tree signifies Palestine. The olive tree can live for centuries. I don't know how to care for an olive tree, but in my opinion, they require little. They are sturdy and live in a rugged desert ecosystem. These trees are the very symbol of peace. The olive tree can live for centuries and the fruit they bear have many uses. These are living beings, they are loved and nurtured by the Palestinian families that nurture and love them.
The Caterpillar represents Israel. A machine for destroying trees, homes, livelihoods and people.
The bulldozer is not a living being. They are not loved, they are maintained and exploited to cause human suffering. They do not make the desert bloom, they make the desert barren.
Which will prevail? Will it be the heartless metal moster that is Zionist or will it be the living, breathing bearer of fruit?

AIPAC Conference - A polite rant
AIPAC Conference to be held in Washington D.C. soon has released
their roster of guest speakers. I agree with Mantiq Al Tayr that
AIPAC's Conference of Traitors (hereafter referred to as COT)
list of guest speakers are dull, monotonous, and in the case of USA
government officials, too subservient and beholden to give a speech that
will keep a person awake.
I have been mulling over this conundrum for the last week and am embarrassed to report that I'm hard pressed to come up with any overt-zionists with enough pazzazz or razzle-dazzel to rock the conference and raise those funds for AIPAC's many goals here in USA.
Here are a couple of entertainers, all Tribal members, and with the exception of Gene Simmons, I have no idea of the politics of the other two.
I promise to update this post with links, maybe flesh it out a bit, stuff I'm too pressed for time to deal with tonight.
Looking forward to any/all responses from Mantiq & the Flock, will not pluck any feathers in the hope of preening them in a bid for attention and justice for all under occupation and imprisoned.

- Gene Simmons from the rock band Kiss is a fervent zionist, he could probably still get his feet into those platform boots and squeeze into his trademark spandex space suit. With enough make up + wig he could have a double do his act, there are Kiss tribute bands too, I think. That will have hoi polloi on their feet, flicking their Zippos, jamming to the oldies, with their signature song: "I wanna rock & roll all night; and party everyday." Could be a winner.
- Pink, a relative newcomer, compared to Kiss anyway. Maybe she could get the crowd rockin and waving their hands in the air, like they just don't care, with her #1 hit, "I'm comin up & you better get the party started." She's upbeat & doesn't mind showing a little skin a la "Lady Marmalaide."
- Daniel Tosh of the Comedy Central Show: Tosh.0, a fresh young comedian with a repertoire of risque, daring and spicy humor. He would be my choice if I were booking for the COT, just because of his ability to make me laugh & he would definitely make the audience squirm.

Dual Citizenship Nixed for Submarine Crew
No dual citizens need apply to train for elite Israeli submarine crew. The article on Ynet is succinct and better written than my feeble attempt. It is definitely worth reading.
I agree that the special arrangement between the USA and Israel is ridiculous. However, President Obama had Rahm Emmanuel, a dual citizen, as his chief of staff, before Emmanuel resigned. That would be the one who's father, commenting on his son's honor at being chosen as Chief of Staff, rudely replied, "What is he, an Arab that should sweep floors?'(sic)
In fact there are many dual citizens in the United States Congress.
Under the Israeli Knesset rules, no dual citizens can be elected to be in government, you must pledge your loyalty to Israel. I think that is sensible. What is not sensible is that the United States has allowed our government to become polluted with people with double loyalties. In my humble opinion it seems that the dual US/Is dual citizens always choose Israel first....though I would be called anti-Semitic for saying so.

Help the Bedouins of the Negev
I am writing to encourage you to urge the Israeli government to stop the persecution of Negev Bedouin Arabs in Israel.

The Prawer-Amidror Plan, a recent proposition adopted by the Israeli government, will force 45,000 Bedouins from their homes.
This is all part of a larger plan, fueled by racism, that aims to concentrate Negev Bedouin Arabs into towns and take away their land. The Bedouin Arab culture mandates that they live in open rural land, not in densely populated cites.
Please help send a strong message to the Israeli government. No one should be forced from their lifestyle because of their race or ethnicity.

I will just examine one or two out and out lies. In 1948 Israel fought what it calls the war for independence against Palestine's neighboring armies. Palestine itself had no armed forces whatsoever.
The Syrian and Egyptian armies were in no way as well equipped or trained for a modern war. Israel was backed by the major European countries and the USA. There was no way that they were in danger. This is when the Nakba commenced. Deliberate ethnic cleansing which pushed the indigenous Palestinians into Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait, etc.
The Israeli Jews said Palestine was a land without people "for a people without a land." The part in quotes is true but Palestine has been inhabited for at least 4,500 years.
Until the advent of zionism Muslim, Christian and Jew cohabitated peacefully in Palestine. Now the Israeli Jews have control and/or ownership of 85% of Palestine and they keep usurping ever more.
Why would people that live in a desert ecosystem systematically blow up wells, dismantle irrigation systems, ruin family cisterns designed to catch rain water and usurp all potable water to sell back to the Palestinians?
These are a people of self proclaimed ethics and respect for the law.
These are people who have destroyed a single village over 30 times in something like the last 14 months. These are a people who have decided to push the Bedouins into an area that until recently was a garbage dump. These are the people who own the USA Senate and Congress and President. These are the people who give USA nothing but want billions of our tax dollars to continue their occupation and creeping genocide of Palestinians.
