This is a book I picked up (purchased) from the 2007
Porcupine Festival courtesy of the peripatetic communicator of 9/11 truth and
ruling-class treachery, Mr. Steve Goodale. He also provided some DVDs that I
aim to get around to eventually.
The still diffuse 9/11 Truth Movement has been making
quite an impact on public awareness over the past two or three years, with many
significant works emerging. Dr. Barrett, as a writer and an organizer of seminars,
ranks right up there in the pantheon of intellectually and physically
courageous leaders devotingtheir "lives, fortunes, and sacred honor"
to bringing the lies down and the liars to justice.
I've covered a few 9/11 exposés in my columns and
reviews; I have a particular affinity for Dave McGowan's iconoclastic/ everyman
hard-headed analysis proffered from the very next day after the crime via his cleverly
named Website, Center for an Informed America. In fact, Davesweb analysis is
what started my serious questioning of the official story. Fabulously incisive,
entertaining writing.
Post Davesweb I discovered the 911truth.org site, where
most of the major players in the movement have paused at one time or another to
stick a fondue fork. Approximately a year ago I watched the widely Web-
Disseminated Loose Change DVD (which for some reason
seems to be absent on 911truth) and became even more convinced that 9/11 had
been blackest of black ops.
Within arguably the more scholar-rich side of the
movement, Dr. David Ray Griffin in 2004 came forward with The New Pearl Harbor:
Disturbing Questions About the Bush Administration and 9-11which set the ballin motion for respected academics and highly credentialed
intellectualsto call out the naked emperor as it were.
In 2005, Professor Steven Jones at a seminar at Brigham
Young University presented a paper, "Why, Indeed, Did the WTC Buildings
Collapse?" which argued that controlled explosive demolition was the only
conceivable mechanism. More recently, in the DVD Improbable Collapse Dr. Jones
and others are featured making the same argument.
Against the above backdrop of serious intellectuals and
others who are enlightening Americans on the most likely causes of what
happened that fateful day, Dr. Barrett is a relative latecomer.
Not later in believing the official story was hogwash,
but later in committing himself to the truth as literally a Jihad, meaning
"to struggle in the way of God," to
the end.
Kevin Barrett is unique among the leading 9/11 truth
advocates in having converted from backslid Unitarian to Islam in 1992. He has
taught English, French, Arabic, American Civilization, Humanities, African
Literature, Folklore, and Islam at colleges and
universities in the San Francisco Bay area, Paris, and Madison, Wisconsin. His
book is not only passionate, with mountains of intellectual ammunition for the
truth movement, it's a humane and moving account of what motivates him to
fight.
“When I realized that 9/11 had almost certainly been an inside
job, and that clear, obvious, overwhelming, in-your-face evidence made this
obvious to anyone willing to take an honest look at the matter, I knew that
this was not like the other issues.”—Page 22
His writing is poetic. Here's one of my favorite newfound
rousing paragraphs in all literature, and I trust Kevin will not mind my
quoting it in its entirety:
“If the German people had figured out that Hitler was behind
the Reichstag Fire, they might have risen up in rebellion— even though nobody
died in that blaze. If the American people understood that top officials in
their own government had orchestrated the destruction of the World Trade Center
and the murder of thousands of Americans in pursuit of a criminal agenda, they
would certainly rise up in rebellion, and turn their nation's policies 180
degrees away from that criminal agenda. They would cut the military budget to a
tiny fraction of what it had been before the 9/11 Reichstag Fire. They would
withdraw not just from the imperial wars 9/11 had incited, but from empire
itself, reclaiming the great American anti-imperialist tradition of 1776. They
would arrest the super-rich criminals who were complicit in 9/11, and institute
the mother of all trust-busting eras to shatter the monopolies, especially the
media monopolies, into thousands of tiny, locally controlled pieces and
redistribute the criminals' wealth to the people. They would put their money
into roads, schools, housing, and other life-supporting activities, instead of
death-dealing
ones. They would concentrate their energies on developing technologies to cope
with the coming economic-energy-environmental crisis, and build railroads and
alternative power stations rather than new kinds of bunker busting nuclear
weapons. They would embrace international cooperation and demilitarize first
outer space, and then, gradually, the planet itself, leaving locally based
militias, and maybe a couple of nuclear subs per nation for insurance against
invasion, as the only form of military power. And they would reclaim their
freedom of speech and expression and dismantle the police state that has been
riding America's back like an evil spirit since the National Security State
replaced constitutional democracy back
in 1947.” — page 23.
Kevin is
also combative and funny, having appeared on Sean Hannity and his twin flak
generator Bill O'Reilly, among others. He's given these two blowhards much
better than they gave, and is a thorn in the side of all those who receive
exorbitant salaries for writing or speaking power to truth.
Another
valuable characteristic of the book is its scattering of many
"false-flag" facts. (A false flag is an intelligence term for
creating the appearance of truth where the truth is instead contrary to the appearance.)
You will learn a lot you did not know, for example, the photo of a woman
looking out the gash in the North Tower and the fact that the alleged nearby fire
was not hot enough to crack window glass (or to melt her) means the fire could
not have been hot enough to weaken structural steel, much less weaken insulated
structural steel (which the columns all were).
As a rational
libertarian humanist I have some caveats on the value of his Islam*,
but I appreciate getting a realistic view of what that religion is and means,
contrary to the often hysterical stereotyping that serves the interests
of the Western powerists... and which I've been guilty of myself. Truth Jihad
is a work of high art contributing to the imminent tipping point for taking
back our Bill of Rights and our country.

Twilight Of The Psychopaths

- When Gandhi was asked his opinion of Western civilization he said it would be a good idea. But that oft-cited quote, is misleading, assuming as it does that civilization is an unmitigated blessing.
- Civilized people, we are told, live peacefully and cooperatively with their fellows, sharing the necessary labour in order to obtain the leisure to develop arts and sciences. And while that would be a good idea, it is not a good description of what has been going on in the so-called advanced cultures during the past 8,000 years.
- Civilization, as we know it, is largely the creation of psychopaths. All civilizations, our own included, have been based on slavery and "warfare." Incidentally, the latter term is a euphemism for mass murder.
- The prevailing recipe for civilization is simple:
- 1) Use lies and brainwashing to create an army of controlled, systematic mass murderers;
- 2) Use that army to enslave large numbers of people (i.e. seize control of their labour power and its fruits);
- 3) Use that slave labour power to improve the brainwashing process (by using the economic surplus to employ scribes, priests, and PR men). Then go back to step one and repeat the process.
- Psychopaths have played a disproportionate role in the development of civilization, because they are hard-wired to lie, kill, injure, and generally inflict great suffering on other humans without feeling any remorse. The inventor of civilization - the first tribal chieftain who successfully brainwashed an army of controlled mass murderers- was almost certainly a genetic psychopath. Since that momentous discovery, psychopaths have enjoyed a significant advantage over non- psychopaths in the struggle for power in civilizational hierarchies - especially military hierarchies.
- Military institutions are tailor-made for psychopathic killers. The 5% or so of human males who feel no remorse about killing their fellow human beings make the best soldiers. And the 95% who are extremely reluctant to kill make terrible soldiers - unless they are brainwashed with highly sophisticated modern techniques that turn them (temporarily it is hoped) into functional psychopaths.
- In On Killing, Lt. Col. Dave Grossman has re-written military history, to highlight what other histories hide: The fact that military science is less about strategy and technology, than about overcoming the instinctive human reluctance to kill members of our own species. The true "Revolution in Military Affairs" was not Donald Rumsfeld's move to high-tech in 2001, but Brigadier Gen. S.L.A. Marshall's discovery in the 1940s that only 15-20% of World War II soldiers along the line of fire would use their weapons: "Those (80-85%) who did not fire did not run or hide (in many cases they were willing to risk great danger to rescue comrades, get ammunition, or run messages), but they simply would not fire their weapons at the enemy, even when faced with repeated waves of banzai charges" (Grossman, p. 4).
- Marshall's discovery and subsequent research, proved that in all previous wars, a tiny minority of soldiers - the 5% who are natural- born psychopaths, and perhaps a few temporarily-insane imitators-did almost all the killing. Normal men just went through the motions and, if at all possible, refused to take the life of an enemy soldier, even if that meant giving up their own. The implication: Wars are ritualized mass murders by psychopaths of non-psychopaths. (This cannot be good for humanity's genetic endowment!)
- Marshall's work, brought a Copernican revolution to military science. In the past, everyone believed that the soldier willing to kill for his country was the (heroic) norm, while one who refused to fight was a (cowardly) aberration. The truth, as it turned out, was that the normative soldier hailed from the psychopathic five percent. The sane majority, would rather die than fight.
- The implication, too frightening for even the likes of Marshall and Grossman to fully digest, was that the norms for soldiers' behaviour in battle had been set by psychopaths. That meant that psychopaths were in control of the military as an institution. Worse, it meant that psychopaths were in control of society's perception of military affairs. Evidently, psychopaths exercised an enormous amount of power in seemingly sane, normal society.
- How could that be? In Political Ponerology, Andrzej Lobaczewski explains that clinical psychopaths enjoy advantages even in non- violent competitions to climb the ranks of social hierarchies. Because they can lie without remorse (and without the telltale physiological stress that is measured by lie detector tests) psychopaths can always say whatever is necessary to get what they want. In court, for example, psychopaths can tell extreme bald-faced lies in a plausible manner, while their sane opponents are handicapped by an emotional predisposition to remain within hailing distance of the truth. Too often, the judge or jury imagines that the truth must be somewhere in the middle, and then issues decisions that benefit the psychopath. As with judges and juries, so too with those charged with decisions concerning who to promote and who not to promote in corporate, military and governmental hierarchies. The result is that all hierarchies inevitably become top-heavy with psychopaths.
- So-called conspiracy theorists, some of whom deserve the pejorative connotation of that much-abused term, often imagine that secret societies of Jews, Jesuits, bankers, communists, Bilderbergers, Muslim extremists, papists, and so on, are secretly controlling history, doing dastardly deeds, and/or threatening to take over the world. As a leading "conspiracy theorist" according to Wikipedia, I feel eminently qualified to offer an alternative conspiracy theory which, like the alternative conspiracy theory of 9/11, is both simpler and more accurate than the prevailing wisdom: The only conspiracy that matters is the conspiracy of the psychopaths against the rest of us.
- Behind the apparent insanity of contemporary history, is the actual insanity of psychopaths fighting to preserve their disproportionate power. And as that power grows ever-more-threatened, the psychopaths grow ever-more-desperate. We are witnessing the apotheosis of the overworld-the criminal syndicate or overlapping set of syndicates that lurks above ordinary society and law just as the underworld lurks below it. In 9/11 and the 9/11 wars, we are seeing the final desperate power-grab or "endgame" (Alex Jones) of brutal, cunning gangs of CIA drug-runners and President-killers; money-laundering international bankers and their hit-men, economic and otherwise; corrupt military contractors and gung-ho generals; corporate predators and their political enablers; brainwashers and mind-rapists euphemistically known as psy-ops experts and PR specialists-in short, the whole sick crew of certifiable psychopaths running our so- called civilization. And they are running scared. It was their terror of losing control that they projected onto the rest of us by blowing up the Twin Towers and inciting temporary psychopathic terror-rage in the American public.
- Why does the pathocracy fear it is losing control? Because it is threatened by the spread of knowledge. The greatest fear of any psychopath is of being found out. As George H. W. Bush said to journalist Sarah McClendon, December 1992, "If the people knew what we had done, they would chase us down the street and lynch us." Given that Bush is reported to have participated in parties where child prostitutes were sodomized and otherwise abused, among his many other crimes, his statement to McClendon should be taken seriously.
- Psychopaths go through life knowing that they are completely different from other people. They quickly learn to hide their lack of empathy, while carefully studying others' emotions so as to mimic normalcy while cold-bloodedly manipulating the normals.
- Today, thanks to new information technologies, we are on the brink of unmasking the psychopaths and building a civilization of, by and for the normal human being - a civilization without war, a civilization based on truth, a civilization in which the saintly few rather than the diabolical few would gravitate to positions of power. We already have the knowledge necessary to diagnose psychopathic personalities and keep them out of power. We have the knowledge necessary to dismantle the institutions in which psychopaths especially flourish - militaries, intelligence agencies, large corporations, and secret societies. We simply need to disseminate this knowledge, and the will to use it, as widely as possible.
- Above all, we need to inform the public about how psychopaths co-opt and corrupt normal human beings. One way they do this, is by manipulating shame and denial - emotions foreign to psychopaths but common and easily-induced among normals.
- Consider how gangs and secret societies (psychopaths' guilds in disguise) recruit new members. Some criminal gangs and satanist covens demand that candidates for admission commit a murder to "earn their stripes." Skull and Bones, the Yale-based secret society that supplies the CIA with drug-runners, mind-rapists, child abusers and professional killers, requires neophytes to lie naked in a coffin and masturbate in front of older members while reciting the candidate's entire sexual history. By forcing the neophyte to engage in ritualized behaviour that would be horrendously shameful in normal society, the psychopaths' guild destroys the candidate's normal personality, assuming he had one in the first place, and turns the individual into a co-opted, corrupt, degraded shadow of his former self - a manufactured psychopath or psychopath's apprentice.
- This manipulation of shame has the added benefit of making psychopathic organizations effectively invisible to normal society. Despite easily available media reports, American voters in 2004 simply refused to see that the two major-party presidential candidates had lain naked in a coffin masturbating in front of older Bonesmen in order to gain admission to Skull and Bones and thus become members of the criminal overworld. Likewise, many Americans have long refused to see that hawkish elements of the overworld, operating through the CIA, had obviously been the murderers of JFK, MLK, RFK, JFK Jr., Malcolm X, ChÈ, AllendÈ, Wellstone, Lumumba, Aguilera, Diem, and countless other relatively non-psychopathic leaders. They refuse to see the continuing murders of millions of people around the world in what amounts to an American holocaust. They refuse to see the evidence that the psychopaths' guilds running America's most powerful institutions use the most horrific forms of sexualized abuse imaginable to induce multiple-personality-disorder in child victims, then use the resulting mind-control slaves as disposable drug-runners, prostitutes, Manchurian candidates, and even diplomatic envoys. And of course they refuse to see that 9/11 was a transparently obvious inside job, and that their own psychopath- dominated military-intelligence apparatus is behind almost every major terrorist outrage of recent decades.
- All of this psychopathic behaviour at the top of the social hierarchy is simply too shameful for ordinary people to see, so they avert their gaze, just as wives of husbands who are sexually abusing their children sometimes refuse to see what is happening in plain view. If deep, deep denial were a river in Egypt, American citizens' wilful blindness would be more like the Marianas Trench.
- But thanks to the power of the internet, people everywhere are waking up. The only obvious non-psychopath among Republican presidential candidates, Ron Paul, also happens to be the only candidate in either party with significant grassroots support.
- If "love" is embedded in the Revolution Ron Paul heralds, that is because Dr. Paul - a kindly, soft-spoken physician who has delivered more than 4,000 babies - implicitly recognizes that government is the invention and tool of psychopaths, and therefore must be strictly limited in scope and subjected to a rigorous system of checks and balances, lest the psychopath's tools, fear and hatred, replace love as the glue that binds society together.
- The decline in militarism since World War II in advanced countries, the spread of literacy and communications technology, and the people's growing demands for a better life, together represent a gathering force that terrifies the pathocracy, (those alternately competing-then-cooperating gangs of psychopaths who have ruled through lies, fear and intimidation since the dawn of so-called civilization).
- Since nuclear weapons have made war obsolete, the pathocracy is terrified that its favourite social control mechanism - ritualized mass slaughter - is increasingly unavailable. And if war was the great human tragedy, the pathocrats' pathetic attempt at a war- substitute - the transparently phoney "war on terror" - is repeating it as sheerest farce.
- Truly, we are witnessing the twilight of the psychopaths. Whether in their death throes they succeed in pulling down the curtain of eternal night on all of us, or whether we resist them and survive to see the dawn of a civilization worthy of the name, is the great decision in which all of us others, however humbly, are now participating.

‘US legitimacy waning over 9/11 hoax’

A retired US Army general says America should hold public hearings to investigate 9/11 and the wars it triggered.Gen. Daniel P. Bolger, a leader of the US campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan, made the comments during an exclusive interview with Truth Jihad Radio. Gen. Bolger is the author of the explosive new book Why We Lost: A General’s Inside Account of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars.
Asked about worldwide skepticism concerning the official account of 9/11, including the 80% of Muslims worldwide who believe the attacks were a false flag deception, Gen. Bolger said: “We need to have public hearings sort of like the 9/11 Commission, for our own people first, for Americans! I mean, you’re American. Wouldn’t you like to know – wouldn’t you like to see not just me, but other people like me, come into a public forum and answer the kind of questions you’re asking me today?”
Gen. Bolger’s remarks add further impetus to the accelerating campaign, led by the 9/11 family members, to declassify the top secret 28 pages of the 2002 Joint Congressional Inquiry into 9/11. Those pages, according to numerous Congressional Representatives and Senators who have read them, completely overturn the official account and show that “one or more governments” were behind the 9/11 attacks. The governments in question appear to have been Saudi Arabia and Israel, not Iraq or Afghanistan, raising questions about the real motive of the 9/11 wars.
Meanwhile, CNN has reported that convicted “20th hijacker” Zacarias Moussaoui has charged that the Saudi royal family paid for his flying lessons when he was training as a suicide pilot (or, more likely, being framed as a patsy). Moussaoui makes the allegations against the Saudis in two handwritten letters to federal courts in New York and Oklahoma. He also claims that Saudi Royals plotted to assassinate President Bill Clinton by shooting down Air Force One.
The Saudi government hotly denies these charges, and has even called for the top secret 28 pages to be declassified so it can defend itself. So far, Obama has refused to declassify the 28 pages – which were sealed by then-President George W. Bush – and Congress has not yet voted to force the issue. So it is not the Saudi government but the American government that is covering up the truth. Why would the US government want to hide the truth about the worst catastrophe in its history?
The probable answer is that 9/11 was carried out not only with the help of the Saudi and Israeli governments, but corrupt, treasonous members of the US government as well. Declassifying the 28 pages would reveal that 9/11 was a government-sponsored deception, not an independent “al-Qaeda” operation. This would force the kind of new 9/11 investigation that Gen. Bolger advocates. And such an investigation might lead to some very uncomfortable places.
A real 9/11 investigation would very likely reveal treasonous criminal complicity in the attacks on the part of former officials President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, Undersecretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz, and at least some members of the upper echelons of the Secret Service and the Armed Forces. Let’s review just some of the abundant evidence pointing in that direction, much of which was already well-known in 2004 thanks to Dr. David Ray Griffin’s book The New Pearl Harbor.
Events at the Emma E. Booker School in Florida on the morning of 9/11 prove that Bush and the Secret Service must have had foreknowledge of the attacks. When Andrew Card spent less than two seconds whispering something in Bush’s ear at 9:03 a.m. supposedly informing the president that a second plane had hit the World Trade Center proving that America was under attack, neither Bush nor the Secret Service responded according to protocol. If it had been a real surprise attack, the Secret Service would have whisked Bush away to safety at maximum speed. Instead, they allowed Bush to spend eight more minutes in a pre-announced location practicing reading with schoolchildren. (The words they chanted, oddly enough, were “kite-plane-must-hit-steel.”)
As for Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld, both have incriminated themselves by telling conflicting, implausible stories about where they were and what they were doing on the morning of 9/11. The 9/11 Commission, trying to cover up Cheney’s conflicting statements, has also been caught in absurdly obvious lies. Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta’s sworn account of Cheney issuing a stand-down order to allow the attack on the Pentagon to proceed unmolested is just the most obvious of the multiple smoking guns incriminating Cheney and Rumsfeld.
Bush posed for photo ops for another fifteen minutes, and did not leave the school (where the whole world including potential attackers knew he was) until almost 9:30! Then the presidential limousine followed the pre-announced route, at a leisurely pace, to the airport, where Air Force One did not take off until almost 10 a.m. Obviously, this was no surprise attack! Later, Bush would repeatedly claim that he actually saw the first attack plane hit the North Tower before he entered the classroom – an impossibility unless he saw a live feed in the presidential limousine, set up by 9/11-complicit officials, as alleged by national security sources to former NSA officer-turned-journalist Wayne Madsen.

Indeed, the attack on the Pentagon, which occurred almost 90 minutes after the Secret Service, the FAA and the military high command had established phone bridges to deal with the reports of hijackings, could never have happened if it were an actual attack by a hijacked plane and if normal air defense protocols had been followed.
Top US military leaders, trying in vain to follow a hopelessly muddled script, repeatedly perjured themselves before the 9/11 Commission as they offered wildly-conflicting accounts of why US air defenses had not stopped the “hijackings.” 9/11 Commission co-chairs Kean and Hamilton have stated that they considered prosecuting those military leaders for perjury. Then-US Senator Mark Dayton (D-MN) nearly broke down crying on the Senate floor as he railed against the grotesque lies told by his own military leadership.

Shortly thereafter Senator Dayton was forced to flee Washington DC, along with his entire staff, and return to Minnesota due to “terrorist threats” and announce his retirement. His fellow Minnesota Senator and 9/11 skeptic, Paul Wellstone, didn’t get the message, and was murdered, along with his wife, daughter, and staffers, in a rigged plane crash less than a week after he was issued an apparent death threat by Dick Cheney.

Circumstantial evidence points toward Paul Wolfowitz being a 9/11 mastermind. Stanley Hilton and University of Illinois law professor Francis Boyle, both classmates of Wolfowitz at the University of Chicago in the 1960s, have stated that Wolfowitz and other pet students of neocon guru Leo Strauss were even then plotting the coup d’état in America that eventually came to fruition as the 9/11-anthrax attack. The general script for the 9/11-anthrax coup was published in 1968 under the name Coup d’Etat: A Practical Handbook by top neocon strategist Edward Luttwak. (Zionist neocons like Wolfowitz, Luttwak, Dov Zakheim, Richard Perle, Scooter Libby, Elliot Abrams and most of the signatories of PNAC’s September 2000 call for a “New Pearl Harbor” are suspected of designing 9/11 to trick the US into a long-term fight against Israel’s enemies.)

The participation of high-level Americans in the 9/11 deception explains the US government’s reluctance to release the explosive 28 pages and risk igniting the greatest scandal in world history. Such a scandal would destabilize the American political system by annihilating the government’s legitimacy in the eyes of the people. It is easy to see why even non-9/11-complicit officials don’t want to go there.
Yet, that 9/11 scandal already exists, unofficially. Most of the world knows or suspects the truth. America’s legitimacy, in the eyes of the world and its own people, is being terminally sapped by the festering boil of the 9/11 big lie.
The only way to cure this potentially terminal illness is by lancing that boil with the sharp needle of truth. The pain will be temporary; healing will commence quickly. By forthrightly facing and accepting the consequences of such a momentous scandal, the US will be able to re-establish its legitimacy and good name – and perhaps even end its experimental status as Orwellian-Straussian empire, and return to its roots as a Constitutional democratic republic.

There, I stood behind (slightly by the side) of a cameraman and took a shot when a young 'Asian' approached me and asked me politely to leave the pavement in order not to obstruct the worshippers who were coming out of the Masjid. He addressed me as “uncle”. But, I was annoyed because, first, I was not obstructing anybody and, then, that young man seemed to be monitoring only the Asian (allegedly Muslim) crowd! I said something like:“Why don’t you say the same thing to the Rupert Murdoch’s mafia who is filming even your women in hijaab or to the Police who is causing a public disturbance by their mere provocative presence. The Police are terrorizing the Muslim communities all over England making the British people hate the Muslims the more."He answered that they had a right to be there and to do what they are doing. A 'Black' Police officer JC73 in faction with other officers in front of the Masjid (standing as if they were guarding a concentration or torture camp like Guantanamo or Abu Ghuraib!) spotted me and came straight to me and without a word grabbed me very firmly with both his hands (or one hand) and pushed/dragged me off the side of the pavement. I responded:“ How dare you touch me?" pointing my finger at him. This is an assault!”He immediately released me. Other officers were watching, but did not intervene. I was not in the way at all, but other people were on the pavement while I was on the side, as the picture I had taken at that very moment tends to show. I went back to the other side of the road and informed Jane or Geneviève about this incident. They were surprised and left me to go to the other side to carry on with their job.

Lawmaker Considering Legislation To Cut Down 'Islam-Bias' In Fla. School Textbooks
A Florida lawmaker is considering legislation that would give the public input on the content found in Florida school textbooks. His overall aim is to cut down on what he calls the “Islam-bias” in state schools.
Melbourne Republican Representative Ritch Workman says Prentice Hall’s “World History” book not only puts an inaccurate spin on Islam, it also dedicates a whole chapter to the religion…
“..which would be okay , if they had a whole chapter dedicated to all world religions and they wanted to make it kind of a World Religion subtext to a World History book, but they don’t,” said Workman.
He says the textbook also, in his words,” whitewashes history.” For example, he says it talks about both Christian and Muslim crusades, but only shows the brutality of Christianity. So, Workman says he’d like to reverse a change to state law made last year which took away the public’s voice on textbook content.
“In order to streamline the Department of Education, we may have very well taken out some valuable input and so, we still need to look into undoing that. Because we want to make sure that parent groups and organizations have a right to read these textbooks in advance of them being approved by the state, and looking for these biases. We can’t control the Publisher, but we can control what we buy—which in turn, will control what the publisher,” Workman added.
Workman recently brought his concerns to a Brevard County School Board meeting. The board is currently reviewing the textbook. Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for Pearson, the textbook’s publisher, says the textbook is not biased toward Islam and the company treats all religions fairly.

In Florida, as in other states, Pearson creates custom course materials that align to the state’s specific curriculum standards. Florida’s standards split the world history curriculum into two years of study, in grades 6 and 10. The state’s standards require the sixth grade curriculum start with early civilizations and continue through to the fall of Rome (476 A.D.). School Board Votes to Keep Textbook with Chapter on Islam
After weeks of controversy and debate, a Florida school board decided last week to continue using a world history textbook despite opposition from protesters who claimed the book was proselytizing Islam.The controversy began early November after protesters claimed a textbook being used in Volusia County high schools “white washed” Islam and favored the Muslim religion over Christianity, Judaism, and other religions. The book in question is the statewide approved Prentice Hall’s “World History” textbook used in tenth grade Social Studies classes. Protesters and “concerned parents” said the book reduced Christianity to a mere footnote, while dedicating an entire chapter to the history of Muslim civilizations. Although a single chapter is designated to Muslim civilizations, information about Christianity and Judaism is covered in seven other chapters throughout the book, according to the Daytona Times. Thus, revealing the driving force behind these protests was anti-Muslim prejudice disguised as concern over historical accuracy.
Protesters view the textbook chapter on Islam, which is at the center of the controversy.The Volusia County school board was scheduled to meet on November 5 to review the textbook, however, the meeting was postponed to November 18 due to security reasons. Despite the cancellation, close to 100 protesters showed up demanding the book be banned and called for parents of students to rip the Muslim chapter pages out of the book. A Facebook page regarding the textbook was also set up by the chairman of Volusia County’s Republican party, Tony Ledbetter. The page stated, “We cannot allow our local, state and federal governments to take away our Christian heritage and indoctrinate our youth with that of one religion over all others. This is AMERICA for God’s sake!” However last Monday, after hearing from 80 speakers, the Daytona Beach News-Journal reported the Volusia County school board ruled the book will remain in the school’s curriculum with all but one board member in agreement.The Florida protesters’ actions and language mirror that of the organized Islamophobia movement, and further demonstrates what can stem from their rhetoric. One of the most prominent groups leading the charge against the alleged Islamization of public schools is the anti-Muslim grassroots organization ACT! for America. ACT! provides an online tool that lists all the so-called Islam biased textbooks being used in schools so that members and parents can decide if their child’s book is “education or indoctrination.” The Volusia County textbook in question made the list, of course.The group operates on a national level trying to prevent what they perceive as biased textbooks from being used. However, they are actually spreading bigotry and further perpetuating the myth that Muslims aim to take over the West. ACT! is currently involved in a Tennessee textbook debate where they are claiming victory after supposedly influencing the state’s department of education’s textbook commission to refuse to approve a social studies book after the group claimed Islam was presented in a flawed and biased way.Vehement anti-Muslim blogger and figurehead of the Islamophobia movmenet, Pamela Geller, also claims public schools are being infiltrated by Muslims. In her latest column at the conspiracy theory internet hub World Net Daily (WND), Geller applauded the Volusia County protesters and disapproved of the Prentice Hall textbook devoting an entire chapter to Islam. “This is a mosqueing of the public school,” she wrote, adding that school officials and textbook publishers need to be exposed for using “pro-Islamic” books that do not reflect Islam as a religion of violence and oppression. Geller also believes this to be one of the most “insidious forms of stealth jihad,” claiming education about Islam is being used to prepare students to wage war against Western civilization.
However, hate and prejudice did not prevail in Volusia County and the school board’s decision to uphold the statewide-approved textbook demonstrated they were unwilling to give into bigotry of any form. It remains increasingly important to teach and learn about religious, racial, and cultural differences. By doing so, we can further understand and celebrate our world’s diversity as well as strive to treat all cultures, and people from all walks of life, with dignity and respect.

Putin set to drop “truth bomb” on USA
Will Russia blow 9/11 wide open?

As Gordon Duff reported here Tuesday – and as discussed on today’s False Flag Weekly News (posted above – click here for story links)
– Russian President Vladimir Putin is preparing the release of Russian
satellite photos and other evidence showing that 9/11 was a false-flag
operation by treasonous elements of the American national security
community.
The original story reporting Putin’s threat was published by Pravda on February 7th. According to Duff, that story has been confirmed by a reliable source who has actually seen some of the photos during a visit to Moscow. VT sources insist that this is NOT merely a shot across the bow of the US government. Putin, these sources say, is genuinely planning to release the 9/11 material.
These historic photos are expected to show:
* That none of the passenger airliners allegedly used as weapons on 9/11 actually crashed where we were told they did; and:
* That the World Trade Center demolitions were conducted using extremely high-energy weapons.
“The sh*t has hit the fan!” exclaimed one highly knowledgable VT source.
Russia’s classified 9/11 dossier has been held in reserve against the day the Russians feel a vital national interest – such as their survival as a free and independent nation – is at stake. That day, it appears, has either finally come, or is approaching so fast that the impending launch of the “truth bomb” is being prepared.
Russia’s satellite photos and other evidence are currently serving a strategic role analogous to that of nuclear weapons. They are primarily a deterrent – a last-ditch ace-in-the-hole whose main role is to deter and dissuade the enemy from going too far.
But unlike nuclear weapons, the “truth bomb” will not kill anyone; and its use against the US would first and foremost harm the 9/11-complicit faction of the American power structure, while helping the non-complicit faction regain control and adjust the course of the ship of state away from the icebergs. While risky (the 9/11 bomb could indirectly lead to Israel contemplating or even exercising its Samson Option) and therefore anathema to risk-averse elites, Putin has apparently decided that the benefits outweigh the potential drawbacks.
If and when the Russians finally release their 9/11 dossier, the cataclysm that ensues will stand as a milestone in the march of one of the signal trends in modern warfare and geostrategy: the weaponization of truth. While lies have been weaponized since time immemorial, in the form of propaganda, disinformation, false signals, and so on, truth has rarely been in a position to fight back.
Today, the weaponized big lies of the Zio-American Empire – like the empire itself – are over-extended and vulnerable. The stage is being set for a David’s slingshot of truth to bring down a Goliath of lies. To understand how 9/11 has backfired, let’s review the past few decades of history.
During the 1990s, the neoconservatives (and even some realists like Zbigniew Brzezinski, who has since repented of the way his views were used to justify 9/11) believed a New Pearl Harbor would bring invaluable benefits to American geo-strategy. According to their analysis, famously expressed in Brzezinski’s The Grand Chessboard (1997) the US was “too democratic at home to be autocratic abroad.” In The Grand Chessboard, Brzezinski stated that the US would increasingly find it “difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstances of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat.” He ominously noted: “The public supported America’s engagement in World War II largely because of the shock effect of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.”
The obvious solution: A New Pearl Harbor that would convince the American people they were under massive external threat. The neoconservatives, with their Israeli friends, were glad to oblige. The result was 9/11: The event that was supposed to enable a “New American Century.”
But the New Pearl Harbor backfired, for several reasons.
First, the “direct external threat,” alleged Arab and Muslim extremism, was bogus. The Arab and Muslim world, with its vast energy reserves and economic growth potential, should have been a US ally, not an enemy. And the religious element in Arab-Muslim civilization was especially conducive to friendship with the US, since the US and the Islamic nations are the last monotheistic cultures on earth. It would have been in the US strategic interest to be a strong ally of the Muslim world against European secularism, Russian and Chinese post-communism, and Hindu extremism. The deal should go something like this: America protects the genuine independence, including the religious values, dignity and autonomy, of its fellow monotheists; and in return gets a say (though not total control) in oil pricing and policy.
But thanks to a false flag that turned the US against Islam and Muslims, America chose precisely the wrong enemy. While Israel has benefitted mightily from the US war on Islam, America has been digging its own grave by wasting its substance, even its sanity, on a fight against a phantom.
Secondly, rather than uniting Americans behind their leaders in a “good fight” against the nation’s enemies, 9/11 has greatly exacerbated the fractiousness and mistrust of leadership that makes it hard for the US to conduct foreign policy. Polls show that 36% of Americans (over 100 million people) think 9/11 was an inside job, while a whopping 84% or so don’t believe they are getting the full truth about 9/11 from their government. Confidence in government is at record lows, and the sickening feeling of having been lied to is largely responsible for the US military’s inability to win wars – and for the rash of troop and veteran suicides that are far more lethal than any enemy army.
So 9/11, the neoconservative New Pearl Harbor, has hollowed out America, not strengthened it. The false-flag attack on New York and Washington has left the US morally and financially bankrupted, without a functioning Constitution, fragmented in every conceivable way, lacking domestic and international legitimacy, and no longer in a position to be even a first among equals, much less a self-styled sole superpower.
The neoconservatives, whose top priority has always been Israel, are in a panic. Their only hope is to flee forward into ever-bigger wars. That is why Netanyahu is so desperately lobbying for a war on Iran that would set the Middle East, and perhaps the whole world, on fire. And that is why such neoconservatives as Victoria Nuland are pushing for a war with Russia that would in all likelihood go nuclear.
World War III is the last desperate hope for the neoconservatives and their Likudnik allies. Such a war would usher in martial law, enable the suppression (or at least continued obfuscation) of the truth about 9/11, and save the neocons from treason trials, and Israel from dismantlement.
Though Putin doesn’t want to play his ace in the hole, the 9/11 truth card, until he absolutely has to, the moment of truth may have finally arrived. As soon as it becomes absolutely clear that the US is never going to back off from its attempt to turn Ukraine into a hostile NATO base; that the economic war on Russia has reached a point of no return; that the neoconservative “flight forward” into World War III is inevitable…
…at that point, no sooner and no later, Putin will slap his 9/11 truth card down on the table and let the chips fall where they may.
If he plays it too soon, he is taking unnecessary risks.
But if he waits too long, the move will lose its impact. (Once World War III is underway, 9/11 truth from the Russian government will be dismissed as propaganda, and censorship under martial law will turn the truth bomb into a dud.)
I believe the moment of truth is at hand. Strategically, Putin needs to play his 9/11 truth card now.
The Pravda story, confirmed by VT’s inside sources, suggests that the card is about to be played.
