UN urged to take action against France over 'entrenching Islamophobia'
A coalition of civil society organisations has written to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) to request that it opens formal infringement procedures against France’s government for entrenching Islamophobia and structural discrimination against Muslims.
In a 28-page document seen by Middle East Eye, 36 organisations from 13 countries have submitted a complaint to the UNHRC in which they outline “clear violation of a number of basic rights that are protected in legislation that is ratified by Paris”.
The document alleged that France's actions and policies in relation to Muslim communities violated international and European laws, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

The signatories include the Strasbourg-based European Muslim Initiative for Social Cohesion, the Muslim Association of Britain and the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
Macron singles out Muslims
The complaint begins by setting out a chronology of addresses by French President Emmanuel Macron that specifically singles out Muslim communities.
This included a 2019 speech shortly after an attack in which four police officers were killed, in which Macron promoted a “society of vigilance” against the “Islamist hydra”. He called on people to report those at risk of “radicalisation” to authorities, citing at-risk factors such as growing a beard or regularly practising ritual prayer.
It also mentioned remarks from February 2020 when the French president announced plans “against separatism”, targeting Muslim communities and organisations. This included approval of imams by the state and an indirect tax on every Muslim who performs the Islamic pilgrimage of Hajj to finance counter-radicalisation programmes.
Most recently, the document mentioned a high-profile speech from October in which Macron described Islam as a “religion that is in crisis all over the world”, in remarks that led to protests around the world and an international boycott of French goods from individuals in several Muslim countries.
Two weeks after Macron's speech, Samuel Paty, a teacher in the suburbs of Paris, was beheaded outside his school after he showed cartoon pictures of the Prophet Muhammad during a class on free speech. The assailant, an 18-year-old Russia-born Chechen refugee, was killed by French police near the scene of the attack.

The coalition of groups accused the French government of exploiting Paty’s death “for racist and Islamophobic purposes”.
Targeted attacks
This included the raiding of several Muslim homes and organisations, which French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said was launched against some individuals "not linked with the investigation around the beheading but to whom we want to send a message".
The complaint made specific reference to several examples of state aggression against Muslim children specifically.
It cited the introduction of ID cards for children as a means to track Muslim parents who decide to home-school amid the coronavirus pandemic.
It also referred to a 3 October raid on a mosque in which children were learning Arabic, where authorities counted the youths, allegedly classifying them based on whether they were wearing a headscarf.
Additionally, the document mentioned the French state starting formal proceedings to dissolve Muslim charity BarakaCity and human rights group CCIF (Collective against Islamophobia in France), which were publicly designated as the “enemy of the Republic”.
In terms of the publishing of offensive cartoons of the prophet in France, the coalition said that the French government supported and advocated such publications. Such a stance “goes beyond the permissible limits of an objective debate" and "could stir up prejudice and put at risk religious peace”, the coalition claimed, citing the UN Human Rights Committee’s own comments on depictions of the prophet.
“Muslims around the world united behind the cry to hold the French government accountable for continuing to support publications defaming the prophet (peace be upon him),” said Feroze Boda of the Muslims Lawyers Association, who submitted the complaint on behalf of the collective.

"We hope they will unite again around this global first, a truly collective effort, which expands the call for accountability and positive change to include the dismantling of pervasive hateful policies against Muslims in France.
"These policies are not only counter-productive, but they are open to abuse, and have been abused - while also being completely out of touch with reality.”
The document concluded by accusing France of acting “out of proportion” and “unreasonably” applying exceptions to restrictions on fundamental freedoms in order to protect national security.
It said that there was no effective remedy within the French legal system to stop structural Islamophobia, and therefore a formal infringement procedure against the government was necessary.
“France has seen shocking levels of state-sanctioned Islamophobia in recent months. This has precipitated the closure of mosques, Muslim schools, Muslim-led charities and civil society organisations,” said Muhammad Rabbani, managing director of Cage, which co-signed the complaint.
“As a signatory to the UN, France cannot be allowed to infringe upon its international rights obligations so openly, and yet present itself as the land of ‘liberte, egalite, fraternite’.”

Cependant, les parties concernant les Rothschilds et la Révolution française sont d'une terrifiante vérité car c'est ce qui se passe exactement de nos jours. Rien de nouveau sous le ciel de France –Israël!
Je suis Musulman, alhamdulillah, et je suis d’accord à 100% avec l’initiative musulmane de tenter de courber le fascisme totalitaire et raciste antimusulman de la France sioniste visant principalement les Musulmans de France et de ses états clients comme l’Algérie, le Maroc, la Tunisie, la Syrie, et le Liban , et je remercie Dieu qu’il existe encore des Musulmans en France dignes de ce nom. Mais, vu mon âge et expérience, je n’y vois qu’une vaine tentative de vouloir s’attaquer aux symptômes de la politique misislamiste* (racisme antimusulman et non phobie) du pouvoir français, et non à la cause. Il n’existe aucune islamophobie (phobie de l’Islam) en France ou ailleurs. Donc, le terme est déjà inapproprié.
Nous sommes des Français et nous avons des enfants français, donc il est de notre devoir de tout faire pour qu’ils ne soient pas victimes de ce racisme exacerbé qui existe depuis des siècles, y compris sous la colonisation. Il est décevant de voir que les Musulmans de France refusent de désobéir à l’État tyrannique, et à le boycotter, et se laissent terroriser et humilier, et jouer les impuissants quand leur religion est sous attaque systématique depuis au moins six décennies.
Dieu dit dans le Livre Saint que l’hypocrite est pire que le « kafir » - celui qui cache la vérité - mal traduit par incroyant ou mécréant. Pour la plupart, nous sommes des hypocrites, des mal-informés, des imbéciles, et même des lâches.
Depuis 2006, je n’ai jamais mis les pieds dans un masjid de ma localité car ils sont tous des synagogues de Satan, et collaborent avec l’État. Les dirigeants avaient permis à des agents secrets en civil de se mélanger aux fidèles lors de la prière, et des caméras pour tout filmer.

J’avais jadis dénoncé, à maintes reprises, le Recteur de la « Grande Mosquée de Paris, Dalil Boubakeur, ce faux Musulman franc-maçon, et ami d’Israël de l’Apartheid. Mais, tout le monde s’en fichait, y compris Bruno Abd al Haqq Guiderdoni que j’aimais et respectais beaucoup. Donc, j’ai dû cesser de fréquenter ce Temple maçonnique ou ce Synagogue de Satan. Les Musulmans peuvent donner une bonne leçon à ce gouvernement fasciste que s’ils s’unissent, désobéissent, et boycottent le système, et remettent en cause les fausses valeurs de la république. L’ONU invitée à prendre des mesures contre la France, accusée d’« enraciner l’islamophobie »
Une coalition d’organisations de la société civile a écrit au Conseil des droits de l’homme des Nations unies (CDH) pour lui demander d’ouvrir des procédures d’infraction officielles contre le gouvernement français, accusé d’enraciner l’islamophobie et la discrimination structurelle à l’encontre des Musulmans.
À travers un document de 28 pages consulté par Middle East Eye, 36 organisations issues de 13 pays ont déposé une plainte auprès du CDH dans laquelle elles dénoncent « une violation manifeste d’un certain nombre de droits fondamentaux qui sont protégés par des lois ratifiées par Paris ».
D’après le document, les agissements et les politiques de la France à l’égard des communautés musulmanes vont à l’encontre des lois internationales et européennes, telles que la Déclaration universelle des droits de l’homme et le Pacte international relatif aux droits civils et politiques.
Parmi les signataires figurent l’EMISCO (European Muslim Initiative for Social Cohesion) établie à Strasbourg, la Muslim Association of Britain et le Council on American-Islamic Relations.
Les musulmans stigmatisés par Macron
La plainte présente tout d’abord une chronologie des discours du président français Emmanuel Macron qui stigmatisent spécifiquement les communautés musulmanes.
Dans un discours prononcé en 2019, peu après un attentat au cours duquel quatre policiers ont été tués, Macron a fait l’apologie d’une « société de vigilance » face à l’« hydre islamiste ». La plainte mentionne également des propos formulés en février 2020, lorsque le président français a annoncé la mise en place d’un plan de lutte « contre le séparatisme » visant les communautés et organisations musulmanes. Parmi les mesures figuraient l’approbation des imams par l’État et une taxe indirecte prévue pour chaque musulman effectuant le pèlerinage islamique du hadj dans le but de financer les programmes de lutte contre la radicalisation.
Le document mentionne un discours très médiatisé prononcé dernièrement, en octobre, dans lequel Macron a décrit l’islam comme une religion qui traverse « une crise partout dans le monde » – des propos qui ont donné lieu à des protestations dans le monde entier et à un boycott des produits français par des citoyens de plusieurs pays musulmans.
Deux semaines après le discours de Macron, Samuel Paty, un enseignant de la banlieue parisienne, a été décapité près de son école après avoir montré des caricatures du prophète Mohammed lors d’un cours sur la liberté d’expression. L’assaillant, un réfugié tchétchène de 18 ans né en Russie, a été tué par la police française près du lieu de l’attaque.
La coalition accuse le gouvernement français d’avoir exploité la mort de Samuel Paty « à des fins racistes et islamophobes ».
Des attaques ciblées
Des domiciles de musulmans et des locaux d’organisations musulmanes ont notamment été perquisitionnés. Le ministre de l’Intérieur Gérald Darmanin a déclaré que cette opération avait été lancée contre des personnes n’ayant pas forcément de lien « avec l’enquête [portant sur le meurtre de Paty] mais à qui [le gouvernement avait] envie de faire passer un message ».
La plainte fait spécifiquement référence à plusieurs exemples d’agression étatique contre des enfants musulmans.
Le document relève notamment l’introduction de cartes d’identité pour les enfants dans le but de surveiller les parents musulmans qui décident de faire l’école à la maison dans le contexte de la pandémie de coronavirus.
Il cite également une descente effectuée le 3 octobre dans une mosquée où des enfants apprenaient l’arabe. Les autorités ont compté les jeunes et les auraient classés selon qu’ils portaient ou non le foulard.
Le document mentionne en outre les procédures officielles entamées par l’État français pour dissoudre l’organisation caritative musulmane BarakaCity et le Collectif contre l’islamophobie en France (CCIF), une association de défense des droits de l’homme, qui ont été publiquement désignées comme des structures « ennemies de la République ».
En ce qui concerne la publication de caricatures offensives du prophète de l’islam en France, la coalition accuse le gouvernement français de soutenir et de défendre ces publications. Une telle position « dépasse les limites permissibles d’un débat objectif » et « pourrait attiser les préjugés et compromettre la paix religieuse », affirme la coalition, qui reprend les observations de la Cour européenne des droits de l’homme sur les représentations du prophète Mohammed.
« Les musulmans du monde entier se sont unis derrière l’appel à demander des comptes au gouvernement français pour le soutien qu’il continue d’apporter aux publications diffamatoires à l’égard du Prophète (que la paix soit sur lui) », a déclaré Feroze Boda de la Muslims Lawyers Association, qui a déposé la plainte au nom du collectif.
« Nous espérons qu’ils s’uniront à nouveau autour de cette première mondiale, un effort véritablement collectif, qui élargit l’appel à la responsabilité et au changement positif pour inclure le démantèlement des politiques haineuses à l’égard des musulmans qui sont omniprésentes en France.
« En plus d’être contre-productives, ces politiques sont ouvertes aux abus et ont fait l’objet d’abus – tout en étant complètement déconnectées de la réalité. »
Le document conclut en accusant la France d’agir « de manière disproportionnée » et d’appliquer « déraisonnablement » des exceptions aux restrictions des libertés fondamentales afin de protéger la sécurité nationale.
D’après le document, il n’existe pas de recours efficace au sein du système juridique français pour mettre fin à l’islamophobie structurelle et une procédure d’infraction officielle contre le gouvernement est donc nécessaire.
« La France a connu des niveaux choquants d’islamophobie cautionnée par l’État au cours des derniers mois. Cela a précipité la fermeture de mosquées, d’écoles musulmanes, d’associations caritatives et d’organisations de la société civile musulmanes », a déclaré Muhammad Rabbani, directeur général de l’organisation britannique CAGE, qui a cosigné la plainte.
« En tant que signataire de l’ONU, la France ne peut pas être autorisée à enfreindre aussi ouvertement ses obligations internationales en matière de droits tout en arborant la devise “Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité” ».

A onetime trustee of the hawkish Washington Institute for Near East Policy, Aubrey Chernick led the effort to pull together $3.5 million in venture capital to start Pajamas Media, a conservative blog network that made its name partly with hawkish pro-Israel commentary and of late has kept up a steady stream of anti-mosque postings, including one rebutting attacks by CAIR against Spencer — who Pajamas CEO Roger Simon called “one of the ideological point men in the global war on terror.”Politico lists some of the Zionist propaganda organizations and pro-occupation front organizations that Aubrey and Joyce Chernick have funded over the years:
- The Zionist Organization of America
- MEMRI, a group that distributes translations of inflammatory Arabic language material
- The Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT), a group that tracks what it depicts as the threat of radical Islam, run by notorious Islamophobe Steven Emerson
- CAMERA, a group that tracks what it says is anti-Israel bias in the media and that is associated with Daniel Pipes
- The Central Fund for Israel, a clearinghouse for moneys directed to pro-settler groups
- A number of conservative think tanks that are aligned with the Likud.
Lauren Rozen goes into more depth as far as the contributions and think tanks such as the Hudson Institute, Defense of Democracies, Central Fund of Israel, etc. (via. Richard Silverstein), including some well-known anti-Muslim and Islamophobic initiatives (in bold below).
Laura Rozen has discovered that Chernick’s charity-giving is done through the Fairbrook Foundation ($66-million in assets). According to its 2008 IRS 990 report, among the far-right pro-Israel groups he’s funding are:
- Ateret Cohanim ($30,000), involved in the Judaization of East Jerusalem through “appropriation” of Arab homes
- Muslim-basher Bridgette Gabriel’s American Congress for Truth ($50,000)
- Aish HaTorah, funders of the anti-Muslim films Obsessed and Third Jihad ($14,000)
- the anti-Palestinian media advocacy group MEMRI ($100,000)
- American Freedom Alliance, another Muslim-bashing group, founded by Avi Davis, which defends western civilization from the unwashed hordes ($120,000)
- Gary Bauer’s American Values ($80,000)
- Horowitz’s Center for the Study of Popular Culture ($160,000)
- The anti-Arab media advocacy group CAMERA ($25,000)
- The Council for Democracy and Tolerance, an Arab-bashing group established by a Pakistani neocon ($160,000)
- Defend the West, yet another Muslim-turncoat group founded by Ibn Warraq ($130,000)

The non-news story smears Zanaty by claiming that his one time donation to the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) of $6,050 in 1999 indicts him as a terror supporter. HLF was accused of giving aid to Hamas in the guise of charitable work.
So Zanaty was supposed to have foreknowledge about the HLF that even the US government didn’t have? Is it reasonable then to assume that everyone who gave money to the HLF in 1999 knew that the HLF was giving money to Hamas?

Other people and companies who donated money, equipment or services to the foundation the year Elzanaty gave included NBA star Hakeem Olajuwon, the Microsoft Corp., and a medical equipment company owned by General Electric, according to tax records.
When the foundation’s leaders were indicted, Attorney General John Ashcroft said, the case was not “a reflection on the well-meaning people who may have donated funds to the foundation.”

How comfortable do the leaders of the ADL, AJC and others feel about receiving money from a couple who at the same time are the chief funders of an organization and a group of anti-Muslim bigots who are leading the charge in fomenting anti-Muslim sentiment across the United States?
Will they be coureagous enough to return the money they have received from the Chernicks and say that they do not want to be tainted by people such as Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer who as we have documented are thoroughly anti-Islam and anti-Muslim? BNP Ten-Point plan to counter Islamist Terror
1/ Deport Islamic fundamentalists and their families
Scotland Yard has already announced that there are at least 3,500 jihadis in Britain with estimates weighing in at more than 23,000 operating in cells and actively plotting murderous terror attacks.
This means that by the standards of the Government of the United States, the British Government is a rogue state harbouring terrorists.
The parents of the Manchester bomber were given refugee status and refuge in Britain from Libya; this is how they repaid our kindness.
They have proved their incapacity and inability to integrate with British society.
Britain owes these people nothing!
2/ Introduce detainment centres
We are at war!
The Islamists have declared war on Britain; the British Government deliberately refuses to listen and accept the reality.
Given the surging level of crime committed by those in the Muslim community, our prisons are being taken over and other prisoners forced to convert or face violent repercussions.
Action needs to be taken, and this needs to stop!
Isolate the sizeable Muslim convict population into separate prisons. Create special jails for Islamists awaiting deportation.
Island detainment or offshore detainment centre ships – remove the threat to all British citizens from our communities in the interest of all our safety.
The BNP’s plan to create detainment centres for Islamists comes as former MET Police Chief Tarique Ghaffur announced the need for ‘detainment camps’ for Islamists.
3/ End Soft-Touch Britain
The Manchester bomber used state benefits to fund the slaughter of our children.
Soft-touch Britain is not only costing the British people an arm and leg in taxes; it’s literally blowing our children apart.
In spite of international law clearly stating that an asylum seeker must seek refuge in the next safest country, hordes of bogus asylum seekers from the most backward nations and cultures travel across countless countries and even entire continents to claim benefits from the welfare state in Britain, paid for by us hard working Brits.
4/ No more foreign wars – bring our Heroes home
The continual interference and meddling in Muslim nations has incited Islamist jihadis to indiscriminately target Westerners for death, despite the fact that we ordinary citizens NEVER backed these foreign invasions and many actively and vocally spoke out against them.
These wars, in the interest of Israeli geographical supremacy in the Middle East and US foreign domination, do not warrant a single drop of British blood.
The continual harassment, meddling, and funding of Islamist terror groups against the legitimate Syrian Government MUST stop!
Syria – until recently, home to the most ancient Christian community and a haven for different Muslim communities and Jews – was the only secular Muslim nation in the Middle East and a barrier holding back the tide of Middle Eastern and Third World hordes seeking benefits in Europe.
Put former Prime Minister Tony Blair on trial for war crimes and demonstrate to the world that we mean business and justice will be served!
5/ Shut down radicalised mosques
Radicalised mosques are known to the authorities who fail to act because they are tied up with red tape and scared of being called ‘racist’ by their fellow Politically Correct peers, institutions and the MSM (mainstream media).
Radical mosques are breeding grounds for Islamist terrorists.
The confiscation of mosques from irresponsible and dangerous Islamist communal leaders and their subsequent closure is an essential and necessary move to stem the proliferation of radicalisation.
6/ Removal of Political Correctness czars
Create a special independent intelligence unit to isolate and remove Politically Correct heads of authorities.
The poisonous ideology of Political Correctness has resulted in the mass rape and torture of children in Rotherham and countless other towns and cities and the slaughter of our children in Manchester.
Set up an independent anti-Political Correctness unit to identify and remove Politically Correct police chiefs and heads of authority.
After the Rotherham horrors were exposed and the extent of the collusion by the police, politicians, and authorities to cover it up, the Labour Party Political Police Chief Shaun Wright refused to not only accept any blame but also refused to resign for weeks.
He did so after a media campaign aided by BNP pressure and activism.
7/ Hate Preachers detained and deported immediately
The aforementioned independent special intelligence unit will also be responsible for identifying radical Islamist clerics for detainment and expulsion from Britain under the classification of ‘persona non grata’.
They will be detained for the duration of negotiations and until a deal can be made with their country of origin or a Muslim nation which will take them.
Once a deal is made, they will be deported.
Any appeal on the grounds of ‘human rights’ is to be repealed and no exemption will be given to whether they happened to have been born on British soil or not.
8/ Ban the burqa
The burqa and niqab, like the minarets on mosques, is a symbol of Islamic conquest and colonisation.
The wearing of the burqa is a blatant affront to the culture in which these people chose to live and a defiant refusal to behave according to the most basic norms of civilised society.
The act of concealing one’s identity is tantamount to community terror; it is intimidating, threatening and a danger to the safety and wellbeing of the public at large.
With the exception of safety equipment (such as dust masks and visors) and helmets – permitted to be worn only during those activities and the operation of heavy equipment – concealment of the face is illegal and the law must be upheld.
No exemption to this rule will be made on religious grounds.
9/ A temporary ban on all Immigration
The engineered Mass Immigration agenda into Europe and subsequently Britain has been consciously and disingenuously framed as a ‘refugee crisis’; the political class and the MSM are directly responsible for the astonishing rise in crime and terrorism.
Waging war on, and bombing, a foreign sovereign nation, while at the same time inviting millions of people from that country to come and live in Britain, is not merely an act of suicide, but one of madness.
But this is exactly what the degenerate political class in Britain has done, and their irresponsible actions are now costing the lives of ordinary people and our children.
Without any debate, vote or mandate of any sort, the political class has forced the most pernicious and disastrous policy ever imposed on the British people.
Enough is enough!
They’ve introduced to Britain a fifth column of Islamist jihadis hellbent on killing us all – innocent men, women, and children.
Stop all further immigration until we can sort out the politicians’ immigration shambles.
10/ Never mind internet censorship
In the same way that George W Bush used the attack on 9/11 to curtail rights from US citizens in the name of their own safety, Theresa May is looking to introduce far-reaching internet censorship to punish all for the actions of murderous Islamists.
May and her Conservatives have no idea how to practically respond to the terror attacks in Britain because they only exist to do their paymaster’s bidding.
Step up the surveillance of Islamist websites and the activity of those frequenting Islamist websites and forums, monitor social networks for Islamist activity – and leave the rest of us alone.
