Lord Cromer on the British Colonial project for Egypt

 Between 1877-1907, the British Proconsul-general for the British occupation of Egypt, was Everlyn Baring (aka Lord Cromer). After militarily occupying Egypt on the false pretext to help settle its financial problems, Britain implemented a complete reformation of Egyptian institutions, and began a policy of re-education of Egyptians and re-construction of Egypt into a form that would fit British interests after British withdrawal. Lord Cromer wrote in detail of his experience in 1916 in his book ‘Modern Egypt’. In the book he discusses quite revealingly a lot about British project for Egypt, as well as his observations – quotes from which have been presented below.

Britain would not allow Egypt to govern itself according to Islam

It is absurd to suppose Europe will look on as a passive spectator whilst the retrograde government based on purely Muhammadan principles and oriental ideas [i.e Islam], is established in Egypt. The material interests at stake are too important …the new generation of Egyptians has to be persuaded or forced into imbibing the true spirit of Western civilisation

Introducing Western Ideas and Values under the guise of rights for Women

The position of women in Egypt, and Mohammedan countries generally, is, therefore a fatal obstacle to the attainment of that elevation of thought and character which should accompany the introduction of Western civilisation

While Lord Cromer was telling the Muslims ‘the position of women in Egypt, and Mohammedan countries’ compared to men, he was a member and one-time president of the UK ‘Men’s League for Opposing the Suffrage of Women’ campaigning AGAINST giving British women the vote.

When the West talks about Liberating Muslim women, it has never been about a sincere concern for Muslim women, but rather just using another angle to breakdown obstacles against the Muslim resistance to Secular and Liberal values and morality. Lord Cromer explained what he meant by ‘autonomy’ for Egypt:

Consider what is generally meant by Europeans when they talk of Egyptian self-government. If they meant that the Egyptians should be allowed to govern themselves according to their own rude lights, the task of educating them in the art of self-government would not merely have been easy ; there would have been no necessity that it should have been undertaken. The indigenous art of self- government had already been acquired in 1882, and we know with what results ; no European instruction would have been able to improve on its recognised canons. What Europeans mean when they talk of Egyptian self-government is that the Egyptians, far from being allowed to follow the bent of their own unreformed propensities, should only be permitted to govern themselves after the fashion in which Europeans think they ought to be governed

The truth is that, in passing through the European educational mill, the young Egyptian Moslem loses his Islamism..

But inasmuch as Egyptian society is in a state of flux, the natural result has been to produce a class of individuals many of whom are, at the same time, de-moslemised Moslems and invertebrate Europeans.

For a thoughtful European will not only look with interest at the ” Alim ” as the representative of an ancient faith, which contains much that is highly deserving of respect ; he will, if the “Alim” is a worthy specimen of his class, sympathise with him because he is religious, albeit his religion is not that of Christ. The Europeanised Egyptian, on the other hand, will often look on the *’ Alim ” with all the pride of an intellectual parvenu. From the pedestal of his empirical knowledge, he will regard the ” Alim ” as a social derelict, who has to be tolerated, and even occasionally, for political purposes, to be utilised, but who need not be respected.

The intolerance of the Secular Elite ‘Muslims’ for Christians

Although the Europeanised Egyptian is no true Moslem, he is often as intolerant, and sometimes even more intolerant of Christianity than the old orthodox Moslem, who has received no European education. He frequently hates Christians with a bitter hatred, and he does so partly because many of the Christians with whom he has been brought in contact deserve to be hated, and partly because the Christian, in his capacity of being a European, is a rival who occupies positions, which the Europeanised Egyptian thinks he should himself occupy.

The Eventual Reformation of Islam – until its disappearance

It is conceivable that, as time goes on, the Moslems will develop a religion, possibly a pure Deism, which will not be altogether the Islamism of the past and of the present, and which will cast aside much of the teaching of Mohammed, but which will establish a moral code sufficient to hold society together by bonds other than those of unalloyed self-interest. The Europeanised Egyptian, as we now see him, is the first, not the last, word of reformed Moslem society. It is possible that, in course of time, some higher moral and intellectual ideal will be developed.

Cromer viewed Egyptians as backward and sectarian, including Egyptian Coptic Christians

One of the most remarkable traits,” Lane says, ” in the character of the Copts is their bigotry. They bear a bitter hatred to all other Christians, even exceeding that with which the Moslems regard the unbelievers in El-Islam. . . . They are, generally speaking, of a sullen temper, extremely avaricious, and abominable dissemblers ; cringing or domineering according to circumstances. The respectable Copt, to whom I have already acknowledged myself chiefly indebted for the notions which I have obtained respecting the customs of his nation, gives me a most unfavourable account of their character. He avows them to be generally ignorant, deceitful, faithless, and abandoned to the pursuit of worldly gain, and to indulgence in sensual pleasures

Cromer acknowledges some bad habits of Egyptian Muslims maybe European influenced

the cruelty to animals, which so often shocks visitors to Egypt, is no worse than that which may be witnessed amongst Christian nations in the south of Europe, and is probably, as Lane observed in 1835, not a plant of indigenous growth, but is rather due to association with low- class Europeans. Knowing that American entry into the war would endanger Germany's war efforts, Hitler ignores repeated U.S. provocations of Germany. To further discourage U.S. entry into the war, Germany, Italy, and Japan sign on to a mutual defense pact in September of 1940- The TriPartite Pact. War against one means war with all three.

Ironically, the TriPartite Pact will have the unintended effect of facilitating FDR's treasonous scheme to embroil the U.S. into the conflict. As a "backdoor" to the European conflict (which Germany was winning) FDR and Churchill intensify their instigation of Japan. When the aggressive moves become too much for Japan to bear (oil embargo, closure of Panama Canal to Japanese shipping, U.S. battleships cruising through Japanese waters etc.) Japan decides the make the first move, by attacking Pearl Harbor (the U.S. naval base in the territory of Hawaii) on December 7, 1941 ....exactly as FDR had intended!

In the ensuing days, war declarations between the TriPartite allies, and the US/UK alliance were exchanged.

The diabolical FDR, acting "surprised", delivers his "Day of Infamy" speech to a confused and angry nation.

We hereby declare war upon the United States of America and the British Empire. The men and officers of our Army and Navy shall do their utmost in prosecuting the war. Moreover these two powers, inducing other countries to follow suit, increased military preparations on all sides of our Empire to challenge us. They have obstructed by every means our peaceful commerce and finally resorted to a direct severance of economic relations, menacing greatly the existence of our Empire.

Patiently have we waited and long have we endured, in the hope that our Government might retrieve the situation in peace. But our adversaries, showing not the least spirit of conciliation, have unduly delayed a settlement; and in the meantime they have intensified the economic and political pressure to compel our Empire to submission.  This trend of affairs, would, if left unchecked, not only nullify our Empire's efforts of many years for the sake of the stabilization of East Asia, but also endanger the very existence of our nation. My observation has nothing to do with hindsight, but history (if found out to be truthful!) proved that Napoleon was dead wrong trying to conquer the world when he had not even conquered France!  The British Empire had indeed conquered the world by making sure that all its enemies were FIRST exterminated or subdued.  Whether in Africa, Hindustan, Indo-China, Australia or the Americas, they proved to be the most ruthless and the most exterminationist Empire ever in existence, but always with a huge smile in their face, and the bragging about their superior "race" over all the non British, including the White Europeans!  The German lesson would prove this again. 

It was the Muslims whose decadence allowed the Portuguese and Spanish to become the first modern exterminationists, followed by the Dutch, the Belgians, the French and the British.    

Before we "declare war" on any country, we must first and foremost make sure we have the potentials to defeat the enemy, which Hirohito never had.  He engaged his nation on a suicide mission just like Adolf Hitler did!  Hitler lost the Battle in a war he never wanted or declared on the warmongering Judaics of Britain, France and the USA BECAUSE he showed too much nobility, generosity, and humanity to the French and the British who paid his nation back with utter perfidy and cruelty.

Japan did not have even China on their sides!

MUSLIMS, as a whole, all nations included, who never learned the lesson after the Vatican-Mongol genocide of their people and civilisation, have been facing the same predicament at the hands of European Colonials ever since they were decimated or kicked out of Spain and Sicily, then the Centre of the civilised world or even of Hindustan.

This begs the question who does control the media? Most of these industries are bundled into huge media conglomerates run by the following seven individuals:

EHRLICHMAN: What's it called?
NIXON: "Archie's Guys." Archie is sitting here with his hippie son-in-law, married to the screwball daughter. The son-in-law apparently goes both ways. This guy. He's obviously queer--wears an ascot--but not offensively so. Very clever. Uses nice language. Shows pictures of his parents. And so Arch goes down to the bar. Sees his best friend, who used to play professional football. Virile, strong, this and that. Then the fairy comes into the bar.
I don't mind the homosexuality. I understand it. Nevertheless, goddamn, I don't think you glorify it on public television, homosexuality, even more than you glorify whores. We all know we have weaknesses. But, goddammit, what do you think that does to kids? You know what happened to the Greeks! Homosexuality destroyed them. Sure, Aristotle was a homo. We all know that. So was Socrates.
EHRLICHMAN: But he never had the influence television had.
NIXON: You know what happened to the Romans? The last six Roman emperors were fags. Neither in a public way. You know what happened to the popes? They were layin' the nuns; that's been goin' on for years, centuries. But the Catholic Church went to hell three or four centuries ago. It was homosexual, and it had to be cleaned out. That's what's happened to Britain. It happened earlier to France.
Let's look at the strong societies. The Russians. Goddamn, they root 'em out. They don't let 'em around at all. I don't know what they do with them. Look at this country. You think the Russians allow dope? Homosexuality, dope, immorality, are the enemies of strong societies. That's why the Communists and left-wingers are clinging to one another. They're trying to destroy us. I know Moynihan will disagree with this, [Attorney General John] Mitchell will, and Garment will. But, goddamn, we have to stand up to this.
EHRLICHMAN: It's fatal liberality.
NIXON: Huh?
EHRLICHMAN: It's fatal liberality. And with its use on television, it has such leverage.
NIXON: You know what's happened [in northern California]?
EHRLICHMAN: San Francisco has just gone clear over.
NIXON: But it's not just the ratty part of town. The upper class in San Francisco is that way. The Bohemian Grove, which I attend from time to time--it is the most faggy goddamned thing you could ever imagine, with that San Francisco crowd. I can't shake hands with anybody from San Francisco.
Decorators. They got to do something. But we don't have to glorify it. You know one of the reasons fashions have made women look so terrible is because the goddamned designers hate women. Designers taking it out on the women. Now they're trying to get some more sexy things coming on again.
