Patna: At least five people were killed and more than 80 injured as
eight bombs exploded in Patna on Sunday, six of them in and around the
ground where Bharatiya Janata Party's Prime Ministerial candidate
Narendra Modi addressed a massive rally just a few hours after the
tragedy.
The first blast ripped through a toilet at around 9:15 am at the newly
built platform 10 of Patna railway station, killing one person and
wounding another. After an hour, by which time Modi had reached Patna,
four explosions took place in quick successions near the Hunkar rally
venue Gandhi Maidan, killing four others and causing a lot of panic. The
second blast took place at Eliphiston cinema hall followed by the other
explosions near the rally venue.
As theories of political conspiracy gained ground, a worried Bihar chief
minister Nitish Kumar cancelled his visit to Munger. He also ruled out
any security lapses in the much talked about Hunkar rally while called
the multiple blasts a blot on the state.

The usual shit !
More planted evidence and innocent Muslims being convicted !
HINDU RACIST MEDIA SPEW VENOM AND LIE LIKE THE WESTERN ZIONIST MEDIA !
BIHARPATNA/NEW DELHI: The political campaign for the 2014 election took a frightening turn
on Sunday when six persons were killed and around 100 injured at the
crowded venue of Narendra Modi's rally here in a suspected terror attack
designed to inflict mass casualties.
Eight explosive devices
with timers went off between 9.30am and 12.25pm as part of a serial bomb
attack suspected to be the handiwork of Indian Mujahideen (IM). Four alleged operatives of the outfit have been detained, one of whom is in critical condition
after being caught in a blast. During interrogation, they reportedly
told the police that they had staged the attack in retaliation for the Muzaffarnagar riots. They are also said to have named the IM module involved in the Bodh Gaya blasts.
The names of the four detained are Imtiaz Ansari, Ainul, Akhtar and
Kaleem. Ansari, a resident of Ranchi, was apprehended at the railway
station just after the first two bombs went off. He was apparently
planning to plant some more bombs but panicked (HOLY HINDU SHIT!) when he saw the police
and bomb disposal squad. On being challenged, he tried to flee but was
arrested.
The investigators then got incredibly lucky. Ansari
had been asked by his handlers not to carry a mobile phone. So he had
jotted down phone numbers of a dozen conspirators on a piece of paper,
which fell into the hands of the cops and helped them track down some of
the others. One of them, Ainul, who is critical, was initially believed
to be a victim of the railway station blasts before it emerged that he
was also part of the conspiracy.
Six of the bombs went off
inside and near Gandhi Maidan, the sprawling rally venue. The remaining
two blasts took place inside a public convenience complex at Patna
Junction when trains, including special ones hired by the BJP, were
disgorging rallyists. The police officially said there was only one
blast inside the railway station, but sources insisted there were two.
A bigger tragedy was averted only because the fortitude of the massive
crowd ensured that there was no stampede: a horrific prospect that could
have killed hundreds.
Modi and other BJP leaders helped. The Gujarat CM, who defied the advice of Gujarat Police to address the Hunkar rally,
as well as other BJP leaders made no mention of the outrage in their
speeches, with the crowds taking the exploding improvised explosive
devices (IEDs) in their midst for firecrackers.
Rajnath Singh and Arun Jaitley
apparently favoured going ahead with the rally without mentioning the
blast as they feared that calling it off would have led to panic and a
stampede.
The Hindutva leader, who spoke for less than an hour
after the last explosion at Gandhi Maidan, ended his speech by exhorting
the audience to maintain peace and unity at all costs. "There should be
no stain on Bihar's reputation and peace must be maintained across the
country," he said.
Reports from Ranchi said the Jharkhand
police also detained two suspected IM operatives in this connection and
seized explosives and a picture of Osama bin Laden from their possession.
Talking to reporters, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar
confirmed that documents found on Ansari had given the investigators
important leads. Kumar, who was attacked by the BJP for not providing
security at the rally venue, said police were working on the basis of
telephone numbers Ansari was carrying, and claimed that the case would
be worked out shortly.
According to sources, Ansari and other
members of the gang had ringed the venue with explosives in the morning
when the participants had already started congregating. The explosives
were planted in a clockwise manner, starting with a spot bang across the
Police Control Room.
Sources quoted Ansari as telling his
interrogators that the IM module took care not to plant the explosives
in the night, fearing that dew would dampen the IEDs which were said to
be similar to those used in the Bodh Gaya blasts.
Talking to reporters, the Bihar CM and his DGP Abhayanand
were at pains to stress that there were no lapses on the government's
part. Kumar said the rally organizers were extended all assistance
sought by them, adding that BJP had expressed no apprehension of a
terror attack. The police chief also claimed that standard operating
procedures laid down for the purpose were scrupulously followed.
However, BJP leaders accused them of laxity and indifference, saying
that even elementary precaution — setting up adequate number of frisking
points and anti-sabotage checks — was not taken.
Also, while
the Bihar CM claimed that there was no intelligence alert, sources in
the police said that IB had warned them about a possible terror attack
on the rally.

the multiple blasts a blot on the state.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar questioned the timing of the blasts, adding
it appeared to be a "deliberate attempt" to vitiate the atmosphere in
the state.
"There were no intelligence inputs either from the Centre or from the
state. Whatever was possible to do for this kind of a programme, the
administration had done. Security was tightened keeping in mind the BJP
rally. Senior police officials had personally monitored the security
arrangements at Gandhi Maidan," said Nitish while briefing the media on
the blasts.
Nitish, however, questioned the timing of the blasts, adding it appeared
to be a "deliberate attempt" to vitiate the atmosphere in the state.
The serial blasts cannot be a coincidence that they occurred on the day
of the rally, he asserted. "Whatever happened is not the tradition of
Bihar. An attempt was made to disrupt the amity of the state and disturb
the law and order situation. The blasts before the BJP rally seems like
a deliberate attempt," he told reporters.
"The day and timing of the serial blasts indicate that there was an
attempt to vitiate the atmosphere in the state. The timing is very
worrying," he said.
The chief minister confirmed that five people had been killed and 83
others injured. He announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh for the family
members of the dead.
On the progress of police investigations, Nitish said that three
suspects have been taken into custody and added that one of the suspects
has even confessed to his involvement in the case.
The Bihar Chief Minister also added that the state government will fully
co-operate with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) which is
investigating the case. The Home Ministry has send a team of
seven-member team of NIA and National Security Guards (NSG) officials to
investigate multiple bomb blasts in Patna.
Meanwhile, the political fraternity expressed concern over the blasts.
While, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh condemned the serial blasts on
twitter, Congress President Sonia Gandhi released a statement extending
her condolences to the family of those killed.
Undeterred by concern on the security of its poster boy Narendra Modi,
the BJP chose not to disappoint massive crowd of supporters gathered at
Gandhi Maidan.

India anti-graft crusader hints at forming Delhi government
By AFP | AFP – 30 minutes ago
India's
anti-corruption crusader Arvind Kejriwal vowed Sunday to clean up
"dirty politics" in a fiery speech suggesting that his party will team
up with the Congress party to form a state government in Delhi.
Kejriwal, a former civil servant turned politician, has been under
pressure to form a government with support from a major party since the
stunning performance of his Aam Aadmi (Common Man) Party in the December
4 state election.
The party won 28 of the 70 seats, trouncing Congress which previously
ruled the state but took only eight seats and depriving the biggest
winner -- the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with 31 -- of an overall
majority.
But Kejriwal has been wary of accepting support from either the
nationally ruling Congress or the main national opposition BJP, after
voters flocked to him because they were disillusioned with mainstream
politics and angry at rampant corruption.
"If we form the government, we will pass an anti-corruption law and
send corrupt BJP and Congress leaders to jail," Kejriwal told a rally in
Delhi of several hundred supporters.
"We are not after political power. We want to change the system and
cleanse the dirty politics," Kejriwal said, adding that he expected to
make an announcement on forming a state government on Monday.
The success of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), only a year after its
formation, signalled its emergence as a new political force which poses a
threat to the two main parties in a general election due by May.
With the BJP declining to form a state government without an overall
majority, the AAP was invited by Delhi's governor to take on the job.
In an unusual move it asked supporters whether it should do so,
holding public meetings and urging them to telephone or SMS their views.
With Sunday the last day for supporter input, media speculation was mounting that Kejriwal would finally team up with Congress.
The Hindustan Times newspaper and other media said the AAP has
received an overwhelming response in favour of forming a new state
administration.
"We have got a very positive and clear response. If things go the
same way (today), we will definitely form the government," the daily
quoted an AAP leader, Manish Sisodia, as saying.
Congress, in power at the national level for a decade, has seen its
popularity plummet following a series of corruption scandals, and policy
paralysis that has been partly blamed for India's faltering economy.
The BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi tore into
Congress during a rally Sunday, saying its corruption scandals and poor
governance have ruined the country.
"Corruption has assumed enormous proportions in the country. The
country can free itself of corruption if it throws out Congress from
power," Modi told the rally in the financial hub Mumbai.

Auschwitz

Shocking images depicting U.S. soldiers burning the bodies of what appear to be Iraqi insurgents, have emerged today.
The
explosive photographs, reportedly taken in Fallujah in 2004, have
already sparked a Marine Corps investigation, but many of the 41
gag-inducing shots are just too grisly to publish.
Two
pictures show a Marine pouring what looks like gasoline on the remains
of enemy soldiers and another two images appear to show the remains go
up in flames. Two more capture the horrifically charred bodies.

The sick snaps were exclusively obtained by TMZ, who turned them over to the Pentagon last week, triggering the probe.
According to the
website, U.S. Central Command, which is in charge of military operations
in the Middle East, reviewed the photos to determine if they had been
brought to their attention before.
They determined they had not.
Other
horrific pictures show a Marine squatting next to a skull to pose for
the camera. His U.S. military uniform is clear, on his face he wears a
wide grin and he is pointing his gun at the skeleton.
Another picture shows a soldier rifling through the pockets of the scant remains of an Iraqi soldier.
TMZ
said it has withheld the bulk of the images - including one showing a
body being eaten by a dog - because they are just too graphic.

Charred: Two more pictures capture the horrifically charred bodies
It reported seeing well
over a dozen dead insurgents in total in the heinous pictures, in
various states, including some covered in flies.
The
Department of Defense said the pictures appear to show U.S. soldiers in
violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. The code outlines
that it is a crime to mishandle remains.
There is no statute of limitations on
the crime, which means the Marines can be prosecuted even if they're no
longer active in the military. If convicted, the soldiers could go to
prison.
'We are aware of photos appearing on
TMZ.com that depict individuals in U.S. Marine uniforms burning what
appear to be human remains,' Cmdr Bill Speaks, from the Secretary of Defense's office, told MailOnline Wednesday.

'The
Marine Corps is currently investigating the veracity of these photos,
circumstances involved, and if possible, the identities of the service
members involved.
'The
findings from this investigation will determine whether we are able to
move forward with any investigation into possible wrongdoing.'
Some have suggested the Marines may have been burning the remains as a sanitary measure.
However,
Pentagon spokesman Army Col. Steven Warren said the proper handling of
war remains is set by U.S. military regulation and that the actions
depicted in the photos 'are not what we expect from our service
members.'
Cmdr
Speaks said the deplorable acts depicted in the images are not
representative of the millions of hardworking men and women who have
served in the Middle East.
'The
actions depicted in these photos are not what we expect from our
service members, nor do they represent the honorable and professional
service of the more than 2.5 million Americans who have served in Iraq
and Afghanistan,' he told MailOnline.
In 2005 report, U.S. soldiers in Gumbad, Afghanistan were investigated for burning the bodies of two enemy fighters.
The
men argued they set alight the corpses for hygienic reasons, after
local citizens had not retrieved the bodies after 24 hours.
A report concluded that the action indicated poor judgement but was not a war crime.
It
stated: 'Based on the criminal investigation, there was no evidence to
substantiate the allegation of desecration or any violation of the Law
of War. However, there was evidence of poor decision-making and
judgment, poor reporting and lack of knowledge and respect for local
Afghan customs and tradition.'
