Prominent Muslim scholar Hamza Yusuf faced
opposition at the Reviving the Islamic
Spirit Convention in Canada for his stance on Israel’s war on Gaza. Some
people in the audience interrupted his speech, accusing him of undermining the
Palestinian cause. In 2020, Yusuf received a wave of criticism for publicly
supporting the UAE’s choice to establish relations with Israel, a decision that
was widely criticised by many Muslim religious authorities. Yusuf has
previously courted controversy by positing blame on the Palestinians for their
suffering, mocking the Syrian uprising, and for having referred to the UAE as

Hamza Yusuf was protested against at the RIS
Convention for his views about the Israel-Palestine conflict. The protesters
called him a "normalizer", a "Muslim Zionist", and shouted
that resistance is justified. This video includes his response to them as well
as some of the protesting.

CONDEMNING THE
TEACHING PROFESSION 1974
From my College notes as well as from a
satire printed by my elder Brother Abdool Maleck Soormally (F.R.A.I.) in a self
printed booklet "MANSEX".("Copyright
unreserved")Maleck graduated
as a fully convinced atheist, and this caused a rift between us in 1965 when I
visited him in London in Denbigh Street!He got mad at me because of Plato's Republic!
One of my very few newspaper articles
was my 28 May 1974 "En condamnation du professorat" (Condemning the
Teaching Profession) when I saw what damages most teachers were doing to
our children in all disciplines, including in sports.For example, Natural Health Education was never taught at school.And censorship was all over the place as well
as total submission to the Neo-Colonial political system!By January 1975, I left Mauritius for France
after the US-Israeli bombing of the Canadian Embassy in Beirut when my wife and
I were accepted as immigrants to settle in Canada.Immigrants were being also accepted in
Australia and many European countries, especially if you were of the Christian
faiths.All our immigration documents
were destroyed at that Canadian Embassy!I had to leave
Mauritius after so many Court cases, attempts on my life, and Police and
government corruption including inside the very College where I was teaching
that was administered by Mr. Claude Obeegadoo, an arrogant anti-free speech Catholic Rotarian
(Freemason), a low caste Indian who had to convert to Roman Catholicism to fit
in the racist and despotic political colonial and neo-colonial system!
I was deeply involved in the welfare and
education (not indoctrination) of my students, unlike my other colleagues who
were all part of the ruling class system.I was the only teacher to set up or run three organisations for free:
the UNESCO Club;
the Universal Society of Islam; and
the College Disciplinary
Committee.
I was promoted as Treasurer of the Private Secondary School
Teacher’s Union (PSSTU) although I was not a member, but after I had denounced
the leading members as being "shareholders" of the administration, and pointed to
the obvious conflict of interest of the Honorary President Claude Obeegadoo as being the College
owner and administrator at the same time, they all left, and I found myself as
President with only 2 or 3 members, including the leading lady from the Girls’
Department.Under pressure from the
administration and other teachers’ hostility, I was forced to dissolve the PSSTU,
and informed the Town Registrar!
My elder brother Abdool Maleck Soormally who attended the same College as myself and
a rebel like me (but who sadly evolved as an apostate, a gambler, a womaniser, and an alcoholic, later
joined the system in Colchester!), edited and published a satirical booklet in Colchester,
Essex, UK, but using the name of our younger brother Saïd (who was supplying
him with plenty of booze, women, as well as to the local Philip Antony Fyson Buck (19 December 1928 – 6 October 2003), he bragged, and I was a witness once delivering a carton of alcoholic drinks at the MP's surgery, which Mr. Saïd said was a BRIBE!He also bragged he bribed ministers and Police in Mauritius. Saïd almost never attended Mauritius College in
Curepipe, and did not even sit for his Cambridge School Certificate
examinations, and could not even write in proper French or English.When he was asked to pay for his school fees,
his answer was: I never even attend classes!And the principal's or usher's response was (in patois): "Tu vines,
tu pas vines, tu dois payer" (You come or you don't come, you must pay!)He spent his time at the boxing club,
with vagabonds (Hazareesing...), sleeping out with prostitutes who he paid with money, items, and gold he stole from our home!What Mr. Saïd did not know was that I had
written part of the contents of that booklet, which I had submitted to Mr. Prem
Burton, an English teacher, to be published in our Royal College School Magazine, but
it was rejected.

I witnessed the flourishing of an institutionalised industry of Private Tuition
Racket in the three Colleges where I taught (Curepipe, People's, and Trinity Colleges) that
abused not only the students, but also penalised the impoverished economic
classes with all its consequences.This
made me write this small amateurish exposé condemning the profession of
teaching!Obviously, this did not please
my colleagues in the profession who I found were mere prostitutes with little

that the State recruited prostitutes to entertain African leaders who came to
an OCAM Conference in 1973.I was told
by friend doctors and Civil Hospital ambulance driver Abdool Rajack Jeewa that
many Indian and African Civil Service staff (hostesses) ended up in the Civil
Hospital because the African officials they had sex with were brutal sadistic
rapists who severely damaged their vaginas or made them pregnant.Mauritius had joined OCAM, the African and
Malagasy Common Organization (Organization Commune Africaine et Malgache) in
1970 and that became extinct in 1985!Friend doctors (not the media!) were reporting the increasing number of
school girls of the Capital queuing up in their hospitals for abortion
operations.Alcohol and pornography
consumption and smoking were also on the increase by both the young and the
adult population.Violence and crime
were on the rise.This was meant to be as
it was the policy of the foreign powers (UN, IMF, World Bank, WHO, UNESCO, WTO,
USA, UK, France, etc.) that run the economy in their member and client States
and colonies or occupied territories!In
the USA Corporation, some 50 million babies had been aborted in the past 50
years!In India, during that same
period, some 50 million babies were aborted because they were girls!All this was perfectly acceptable as it was
condoned and led by the UN!
I condemned the practice of private tuition because it was fraudulent and unfair on the poorer classes.The private schools were filled of them.But, today FRAUD has become openly an
institution worldwide, and it is practiced in all the spheres of life and by
all the government apparatus, including the National Education, and the Court and
Medical Sewage Systems.We are forced to
live under a corporate electoral dictatorship where the citizens have to slave
for the benefit of an Élite.Democracy
is in fact DEMONCRACY, and is a sham where only freemasons, perverts and crooks
prosper.The most notorious pervert in
Mauritius was then a barrister by the name Gaëtan Duval, a self-confessed
bi-sexual pimp and alcoholic who was knighted by the Druidess Elizabeth
II.He ran the sex racket composed mainly
of "Creole" prostitutes in all impunity!The Prime Minister Aneerood Jugnauth too was
knighted by the same majestic woman although he was known in the French media
as a drug trafficker, and who had one of his political opponents jailed and

Bacha who was accused of murdering his wife and child in order to marry his

world's economies after waging endless wars and killing hundreds of millions of

Responding to an article by a Mauritian by journalist
Bijaye Madhou (l'express) on the "Abuse and scandals of private
tuitions", I quoted MANSEX.

us consider our position in the world.

my teaching years, I have been, like Karamchand Gandhi, against the public
school system because it kills all spirituality.Studying anthropology at university level
transformed my elder brother Maleck into an avowed materialist Hedonist devoid of all human
spiritual values.Allied with our evil
brother, together they helped destroy the entire Soormally family bringing our father
to near madness, which added to his other life tribulations!
I knew Bijaye Madhu as a traitor to the
Mauritian nation (in formation as it did not yet exist when I was still there
in 1975!).Today, there is no such thing

It is quite clear now that the majority of people lack the capacity for
original thought, are too lazy to think for themselves and are
frightened to `think outside the box’.
If you find that triple example of tautology annoying then that’s fine:
because the premise is a crucial one. And repetition, as Gertrude Stein
would doubtless agree, is essential if you wish to make a point.
Most citizens are now led by knee jerk reflexes – responding to what
they see and hear on television. They believe nonsense such as `climate
change is scary’, `covid is dangerous’ and `vaccines are good’ because
they see and hear these thoughts repeated all day long; devised by the
conspirators and spread by the collaborators.
But, why are people so ready to believe what they hear and to accept it unquestioningly?
Teachers and lecturers.
The modern education system (both in school and university) discourages (actually suppresses) original thought and debate.
Teachers today seem unaware that it takes more effort to reject an idea
than to accept it. Acceptance is something we do without thinking but
rejecting something which we are told requires effort.
However, instead of encouraging students to question what they are told,
teachers simply instruct their students to accept the `official’ view.
Descartes believed that after preliminarily accepting an idea we then think about it and decide whether to reject it or not.
But, a good few years later, Baron Spinoza suggested that when we accept
an idea we think we understand it and so we no longer question it.
As usual Descartes was wrong. And in this, at least, Spinoza was right.
The problem today is that people are prone to accept the things they see or hear – on television or the radio or the classroom.
It is formal teaching which pushes students into blindly,
unquestioningly, uncritically accepting whatever they’re told in later
life. (There goes that tautology again.)
The mainstream media exists to flood us with information which
reinforces existing beliefs. And the journalists, commentators and
conspirators know that rejecting existing beliefs requires energy and
effort.
Teachers and lecturers have, for decades now, failed to explain to
students that unbelieving things we have been fed is an essential part
of wisdom and, more fundamentally, an essential part of growing up and
developing `a mind of our own’.
We are all overwhelmed with information but teachers have not taught
students how to deal with that overload. Most students remain
unquestioning because it is easy and convenient. And, particularly now
that much grading is done by teachers who have the power to assess their
own students, it is the simple route to better grades.
So students merely accept what they are told. And when they grow up they still accept what they are told.
The mainstream media feeds us content which reinforces the things we
think. We are bombarded with false and misleading information which
supports the false and misleading ideas we have been given.
And so the unthinking masses accept these frauds.
And the result is that only the intelligent and free-thinking are now questioning the covid fraud and the climate change fraud.
The conspirators and their collaborators (treacherous organisations such
as the BBC for example) are primarily responsible for the fact that
millions wear masks (which damage their health and do no good) and
accept jabs (which damage their health and do no good).
Teachers and lecturers must take a big chunk of the blame for failing to teach their students how to think.
Our educational system, like our health care system, is unfit for purpose.
