Iraqi political analyst Muhammad Sadeq Al-Hashemi said in a February 26, 2020 interview on Al-Ayam TV (Iraq) that in the 1981 thriller novel titled The Eyes of Darkness, American author Dean Koontz had written about the coronavirus. Al-Hashemi argued that this proves that coronavirus is an American plot and he said that the goal of the plot is to reduce the world's population. He said that in the past 10 years, two patents have been filed in the United States for the development of virus strains with the name "corona" and he compared this American "conspiracy" to when the Jews used blankets infected with anthrax to wipe out 86% of the native population in what is today the United States in order to have a real Jewish homeland. He said that the Zionist lobby similarly cleansed one third of the population of Scotland and that the Rothschild family has a monopoly of laboratories that develop biological and nuclear weapons. Al-Hashemi added that the Rothschilds had been the ones who decided to use nuclear weapons on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

Following Dr Rashid Buttar’s reported “sudden death”, some of his supporters are wondering what happened to him which caused his declining health.
Born on January 20, 1966 in London, England, Buttar and his family relocated to the United States when he was nine years old. Buttar was raised in Rosebud, Missouri before finding himself a home in North Carolina.
Despite being born across the pond, Buttar was classed as an American, not British, citizen. He was born to Pakistani parents who had moved to the UK before crossing Stateside.
Buttar, a practising physician, rose to prominence over the past few years as a conspiracy theory proponent. He also became a public voice of scepticism toward the Covid-19 vaccine.
Dr Rashid Buttar’s ‘death’ confirmed by friends in ‘Disinformation Dozen’

The news regarding Rashid Buttar’s repoted death broke on Saturday, May 20. It was confirmed by Buttar’s friends and colleagues, who are collectively known as the ‘Disinformation Dozen’, a group of anti-vaxxers who earned this nickname during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sayer Ji, founder of Green Med Co, confirmed that Buttar had passed away on Thursday, May 18.
Erin Elizabeth, one of the ‘Disinformation Dozen’, tweeted that he “died suddenly and our hearts are broken.”
News of Dr Buttar’s death has not yet been confirmed on his personal profile or his website.
HITC has approached Dr Buttar’s representatives for comment.

The individuals spotlighted in the ‘Disinformation Dozen’ are the 12 account holders who produce “65 percent of the shares of anti-vaccine misinformation on social media platforms,” Imran Ahmed, chief executive officer of the Center for Countering Digital Hate, explained in a report on the accounts.
In this group are well-known anti-vaccine proponents as well as alternative health entrepreneurs and physicians.

Given the reported sudden passing of Dr Rashid Buttar, many questions about what led to his death have been raised. An exact cause of death has not yet been confirmed, but Buttar battled a number of health problems since the start of the year.
Sayer Ji explained in a blog post on Green Med Co that recent months saw Buttar diagnosed with both a stroke and myocarditis.
Buttar was in an intensive care unit for six days in January, he explained on a video call interview. Speaking on the call, Buttar explained that throughout winter, he had experienced significant limb swelling and shortness of breath. “I thought I was dying,” Buttar tells the others on the call, including Sayer Ji.
“On January 18, I was admitted to the hospital at 260 lbs, all fluid weight,” Buttar said. He dropped to just over 180 lbs after being discharged from hospital.

Dr Rashid Buttar’s career revisited
An immediate outpouring of tributes flooded the internet, reflecting on Buttar’s work in the healthcare sector.
Dr Buttar attended Washington University and graduated with a double major in Biology and Theology. After graduating, he went on to earn a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa.
Besides his career in the medical field, Buttar also served as a Major in the US Army. He served with the 5th Special Forces group and the 101st Airborne Division.
Dr Rashid Buttar is survived by his three children: Sara (30), Abie (24), and Rahan (18).
