Dear Love, may our union be harmonious, blessed by God and eternal for the welfare of our child.” Sylviane 1990
Cher Amour

AVE MARIA by Mirusia Louwerse with André Rieu (2008).
Charles Gérard Frémaux was my French Catholic employer (1975-1983) who, condemned by medical science, allowed me, a Muslim, to have my only son with his own Atheist wife Sylviane Paulette, and my own Muslim wife Shirin and I allowed Gérard to register my son in his name. Both Gérard and Shirin were not able to bear children. This is life, as we say in France. By mutual agreement, my (our) son was baptised in a Catholic Church in Méréville, Essonne, and circumcised according to Muslim Tradition and brought up as a Muslim. Unfortunately, it was a unique and beautiful love story that was destroyed by the vicissitudes of life. As 'our' son is both Catholic (although not Roman and Apostolic) and Muslim, I feel I owe Gérard this memoriam. May he rest in peace. But, my efforts for several decades to reconcile Christians and Muslims have proved an almost impossible task as well as my efforts to reconcile Muslims with Islam because of a variety of readings of the Holy Scriptures and of political affiliations that have plunged most Believers into the abyss and the hands of the evil one. It is my view that most Christians have been misled by their respective Churches and that the Christian Holy Texts are not fully authentic and no matter how hard I try Believers will almost always stick to their inherited beliefs. So, it is not my intention to change anybody except to make them aware of the truth as it stands and as any sincere and honest person can see.
My sincere wish and prayer are to rebuild Christendom for the general good of humanity and not the hatred of Islam and Muslims, with the help of an awakened and charitable Ummah of Muhammad because only together do we have a chance to conquer the Devil and his armies. If Jesus and Muhammad, peace and blessing supon them both, cannot unite and does not unite on common grounds like love, freedom and justice, the Synagogue of Satan will surely win.

United Methodist, Reverend Wess Magruder (L) prays
American Pastor partakes in the holy month of Ramadan
My apologies for the late reply. Thank you for the very moving story about your good friend Charles Gerard Fremaux. Now I know why you add the name Fremaux to your own name and I can say you are truly the embodiment of Muslim Christian unity. God works in strange ways and it is my firm belief that God had brought you along in your journey to meet Mr. Fremaux. It is an honor to have you as a friend despite being thousands of miles apart,if not in person, then in spirit. Brother Basheer, I completely agree with you in that the Christian scriptures have been corrupted over the centuries due to the works of men who had an agenda of their own and that is why Christianity today is in the mess it is in.
We are in the month of Ramadan where the world’s 1.5 billion Muslims are presently fasting in order to practice self discipline, get closer to God spiritually, and to know what the less fortunate in the world have to go through.I have decided I am going to try fasting as well even if it is only for a short time. For those who don’t know, Ramadan started this year on July 20 and it ends on August 17. Please correct me if I am wrong in this.
Again, my apologies for the late reply brother Basheer.
St Jude's Church, Plymouth Comments (17) A PLYMOUTH church has organised an online petition to change the language that is used when speaking about 'Islamic' terrorists following Friday’s attack in Paris. St Jude’s Church, which held a special service at the weekend to remember the victims, says it wants to stop any reference to terrorists being Islamic or Muslim. Vicar Tim Smith from the church said: “We are recognising that our language of this terror group may be as important as any other actions the world may take. “By the world changing the name we use for this group we will be refusing to use the branding of ‘Islamic’ they want which gives them more power and influence than they should have and to remove their ‘slur by inference’ from good Muslims.

It (fasting) keeps me conscious of God, of God’s presence, of God’s will that is bursting to become real in the world. And so when something else isn’t going on in front of me, the buzz reminds me to speak to God."
United Methodist Rev. Wess Magruder
An American Pastor, Reverend Wess Magruder, has decided to partake in the Muslims holy month of Ramadan this year with his Muslim friends, by fasting, praying and reading the Holy Quran.
The United Methodist has not only decided to observe the Ramadan fast this year but also to share his experience on his personal blog, Shia-Online reported.
"I feel a constant “buzz” [during the fast] in my head," Magruder wrote on his blog.
"This buzz serves a useful purpose, by the way. It keeps me conscious of God, of God’s presence, of God’s will that is bursting to become real in the world. And so when something else isn’t going on in front of me, the buzz reminds me to speak to God," he added.
Magruder also wrote that he turned to the Muslim faith for inspiration since he knew that Muslims have successfully been fasting for 30 days each year during Ramadan for over fourteen hundred years.
“I feel very happy and fortunate now,” Magruder wrote, who has succeeded in fasting from sunrise till sunset.
In his blog, Magruder invited all people of the Christian faith to try the fasting experience even for one day.
The Muslim fast is a total abstention from eating and drinking during the daylight hours. Furthermore, the fast goes beyond stomach and includes the eyes, the tongue, the ears, and all limbs which are expected to be trained to submit to the pleasure of God by refraining from ill manners and moral vice.

Plymouth church starts petition to stop referring to terrorists as 'Islamic'
By Plymouth Herald | Posted: November 17, 2015
When the organization of the world is out of harmony with the supernatural end of man, scarcely anybody except the saints and martyrs can avoid mortal sin and abide in charity.

BACKSTAGE PASS: Plymouth, never take for granted the freedom that music brings.
“In time maybe we can return the word Islamic to Muslims without it being a prejudiced term. “As the closest church to Plymouth’s largest mosque we want to be a good neighbour and also help them protect their name. “By this name change we can also move towards de-politicising DAESH by removing the word ‘state’ from them. “They are neither Islamic nor a state.” The petition says: TO CHANGE THE NAME THE UK GOVERNMENT USES FOR IS, ISIS AND ISIL TO DAESH Also to encourage others similarly. There can then be benefits by removing: a) the name ‘Islamic’ from them as it can stop the inferential slandering of good Muslims b) the word ‘State’ as it de-politicises them and their ‘branding’ to just a terrorist group Why use the name they want used? Most people don't know, that many orthodox jews oppose Israel and the occupation of Palestine. These orthodox jews believe Zionism endangers peace on earth. One of them is Rabbi Josef Antebi (born in Hebron), who was tortured by Zionists. This is an interview made in Amsterdam, the last day of Hanuka.
Did the mainstream media ever inform you about the numerous protests worldwide, made by Jews against Zionism?

P.S.: a response to the video, called "Rabbi Josef Antebi exposes himself as a fraud" ...for the comprehension: Rabbi Josef Antebi talks about his grandparents (see 02:19 ) from his mother's side and shows us their birth certificate, Yehuda and Hanna Labi (Lavy) and his mother Perla Labi, they were all Palestinians. Rabbi Josef is also Palestinian. This is to learn from this birth certificate given by the British mandate. Rabbi Josef says (at 02:40 ) "...and I prepare to show you THEIR birth certificate in which it says that I'm Palestinian."

Dr. Robert Sungenis Catholic apologist, author, international speaker
Robert A. Sungenis (born 1955) is an American Catholic apologist. He is the founder of The Bellarmine Report, renamed from the Bellarmine Theological Forum in 2011. He is the president of CAI Publishing, Inc. Sungenis is known for his apologetic works critiquing the Protestant doctrines of sola fide and sola scriptura. More recently, he has become known for his advocacy of geocentrism and also for his beliefs about Jews and Judaism that have created controversy.
Biography
Robert Sungenis was raised in a Catholic family, but became a Protestant Christian at age nineteen.[1][dead link] He held various posts (e.g., elder, preacher, adult Sunday school director) in several Protestant churches including a two-year employment under prophecy teacher Harold Camping of Family Radio.[2] He obtained his B.A. in Religion from George Washington University in 1979, and an M.A. in theology from Westminster Theological Seminary in 1982. Sungenis obtained a Ph.D. in 2006 from the Calamus International University, a private distance-learning institution in Vanuatu which is noted according to Sungenis "for its academic freedom and alternative science and religious curriculum".[1][3][4] His 700-page dissertation was on the subject of geocentrism[5] and was then edited and published as the two-volume set, Galileo Was Wrong: The Church Was Right.
Sungenis
returned to Catholicism in 1992 at the age of thirty-seven. In 1994 he
was the principal author of a book critiquing the eschatological views of Harold Camping.[6] The story of his conversion to Catholicism is chronicled in the first of the Surprised By Truth books[7] edited by Catholic apologist and author Patrick Madrid. He has debated many Protestant apologists, including James R. White, Dave Hunt, Michael Horton, Robert Godfrey and Robert Zins on doctrinal, theological, and historical issues such as sola scriptura, the papacy and papal infallibility, transubstantiation and the Mass, salvation and justification. He is the author of twenty books and over 100 published articles on theology and science.[citation needed] In the past, his articles were published in Our
Sunday Visitor, The Catholic Answer, Catholic Faith and Family, The
Coming Home Journal, Envoy Magazine, This Rock, Catholic Family News,
The Remnant, Latin Mass Magazine and reviews of his work appeared in Homiletic and Pastoral Review, Touchstone Magazine, Culture Wars
magazine and at Salon.com.
He has also begun his own non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation and publishing company,
Catholic Apologetics International Publishing, Inc.[8].
Views on Jews and Judaism
Sungenis has become known for controversial views of the Jewish people and Judaism that have been sharply criticized by some of his fellow Catholics and by the Southern Poverty Law Center as being anti-semitic.[3][9][10] In 2002 he questioned the Holocaust, and according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, "repeated a series of ancient anti-Semitic canards" and later wrote about the involvement of Jews and Israel in a New World Order Satanic conspiracy aimed at world domination.[10][9]
Sungenis has responded that he is against Zionism, but that he is not anti-semitic. "Antisemitism is a hatred for the Jewish race. There isn't a bone in my body that feels that way about Jewish people," he wrote.[11] In 2008, Sungenis' bishop, Kevin C. Rhoades,
denounced his views of the Jewish people and Judaism as "hostile,
uncharitable, and un-Christian" and required Sungenis to stop writing
about them. He also directed him to stop using the word "Catholic" in
his organization's name.[3] Sungenis
has stated that he will only comply with Bishop Rhoades' directive to
stop writing about Jews and Judaism if he is forced to do so "under the
aegis of a canonical trial".[12]
Geocentrism
Sungenis has become known for his advocacy of geocentrism. He
believes that physics and the Bible prove that the sun and all the
planets orbit the Earth and that the Earth does not rotate. In support of his beliefs, Sungenis published the book Galileo Was Wrong in
the hope that people will "give Scripture its due place and show that
science is not all it's cracked up to be." Mainstream scientists reject
this cosmological view as demonstrably false and untenable.[13]

Jacob J. Nammar, Forward by Salim Tamari
5.5″ x 8″ • 152 pages • b&w photos ISBN 9781566568869 • paperback • $15.00
“Very compelling and personal… fragrant details, great zoom-lens scenes of Palestinian family life… pull us right into the landscape and the domain… I support this book and salute its honesty and stirring intentions. We need it in our world. We need every single politician to have a copy in his/her back pocket. As the daughter of a Palestinian also from Jerusalem, I can say that this book rings deeply true to me, and assuages my sorrow somewhat over all the injustice which has pervaded the Holy City for far too long… Nammar makes a strong stride in all the right directions.”
—Naomi Shihab Nye, award-winning author, writer and poet
“Told with exquisite detail and beauty… this readable memoir will help many people around the world understand the reality of Palestine and its dispossessed people.”
—Mazin B. Qumsiyeh, author of Sharing the Land of Canaan
“This is a compelling and compassionate memoir of a Jerusalem life during wartime and after… stands out as one of very few works that addresses the life for those Palestinians who stayed behind in the Israeli occupied part of (West) Jerusalem… On this level the book is original and has significant ethnographic value for the historical researcher, as well as for students of the Arab Israeli conflict.”
—Salim Tamari, editor, The Jerusalem Quarterly, Institute of Jerusalem Studies
A poignant memoir of an eye witness of a major historical event in Jerusalem
When Jacob Nammar was a young boy growing up in Harret al-Nammareh, his family, his friends, and the streets of his West Jerusalem neighborhood were the center of his life. It wasn’t long, however, before his existence was turned upside down when his family was forced out of their home during al-nakba, the catastrophe that resulted in the ethnic cleansing of nearly 750,000 natives and the destruction of over 500 Palestinian villages and towns.
In this heartwarming memoir, Jacob paints a vivid portrait of Palestinian life—from his childhood days in pre-1948 Jerusalem, the struggles of the Palestinian community under Israeli rule, to his ultimate decision to leave for America at age 23. It is a relevant and deeply personal tale of a man struggling to hold his world together as his beloved homeland is torn apart before his eyes and a chronicle of a love story with a city and a Palestinian family’s resilience and determination to survive even in their weakest moments. Readers will laugh, cry, and be inspired by this charming coming of age story set amid the backdrop of one of the most tragic historical events that engulfed the region.
Jacob Nammar was born in Jerusalem in 1941. He is a retired business executive. He lives in San Antonio, Texas. Interlink Books

MILLIONS of Christians disillusioned with their respective denominational religions have opted for the UN-BACKED NEW AGE RELIGION, others for Vedantic and Buddhist philosophies or even reverted to Islam. But, one good thing with Transcendental Meditation is that it is alleged to make BETTER Christians, BETTER Muslims and BETTER HUMANS of us all. But, how far is this true? (BAFS) "The Transcendental Meditation technique allows your mind to settle inward beyond thought to experience the source of thought, the most silent and peaceful level of consciousness—your innermost Self."
In Islam the "innermost Self" has to be conquered by righteous actions and not by meditation alone! (BAFS)
"To ensure maximum effectiveness, the Transcendental Meditation technique is taught through personalized instruction by a certified teacher in the same systematic way as the teachers of thousands of years ago."
"Certified" does not make TM right! (BAFS)

What religious leaders say

"What is the Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique? It is a simple, natural, effortless procedure practiced 20 minutes twice each day while sitting comfortably with the eyes closed. It’s not a religion, philosophy, or lifestyle. It’s the most widely practiced, most researched, and most effective method of self-development."
So, with TM we can dispense with Christianity and Islam altogether, but not of Vedantism! (BAFS)
"What happens when you meditate?
The Transcendental Meditation technique allows your mind to settle inward beyond thought to experience the source of thought — pure awareness, also known as transcendental consciousness. This is the most silent and peaceful level of consciousness — your innermost Self. In this state of restful alertness, your brain functions with significantly greater coherence and your body gains deep rest."
This should definitely be practiced by the HINDU racists and fanatics who have stolen Kashmir and are oppressing 100-150 million Indian Muslims, killing many at will, but the problem with TM is that it also makes the worst among us IMPROVE OUR EVILNESS! (BAFS)
"How many people practice the TM technique?
More than five million people worldwide have learned this simple, natural technique — people of all ages, cultures, and religions."
Knowledgeable and Believing Christians and Muslims do not need TM to be better human beings! Only the disillusioned might need it! (BAFS)
"How much scientific research has been done on the TM technique?
Over 600 research studies have been conducted at more than 200 universities and research centers (including Harvard, UCLA, and Stanford). These studies have been published in more than 100 journals"
This does not make TM more valid or better than Christianity or Islam! (BAFS)
"Where did the TM technique come from?
The Transcendental Meditation technique is based on the ancient Vedic tradition of enlightenment in India. This knowledge has been handed down by Vedic masters from generation to generation for thousands of years. About 50 years ago, Maharishi — the representative in our age of the Vedic tradition — introduced Transcendental Meditation to the world, restoring the knowledge and experience of higher states of consciousness at this critical time for humanity. When we teach the Transcendental Meditation technique today, we maintain the same procedures used by teachers thousands of years ago for maximum effectiveness."
The problem with TM is that it failed to attract the Vedantists themselves and waited for Christendom to become decadent to attract millions among the so-called Christians and the European apostates (renegades). (BAFS)
WESTERN MENTALITY IS BAFFLING!
They would find it wrong to allow Muslims Halaal (Kosher) food in public institutions and free time for Salaat (prayers) at work, but are praising VEDANTIC MEDITATION as good in the work place where you can be allowed free time to meditate -one or two chunks of 20 minutes a day! (BAFS)

Deeply Touched
I wanted to share something that touched me in a really special way. Im in love with the way Maharishi Mahesh Yogi saw and understood life.
Maharishi's nine rules of life:
Don't analyze Don't complain Don't compare yourself to others Don't expect things to be done for you Don't expect perfection in the relative Look to the knowledge aspect daily Own the movement Problems are all in your head Hold yourself together
If you want more information on Transcendental Meditation (TM) just check the link.
The Inner Light -The Beatles
Without going out of my door I can know all things on earth With out looking out of my window I could know the ways of heaven
The farther one travels The less one knows The less one really knows Without going out of your door You can know all things of earth With out looking out of your window You could know the ways of heaven
The farther one travels The less one knows The less one really knows
Arrive without travelling See all without looking Do all without doing
"The achievements of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi are profound in the field of knowledge and immense in the field of action. During the past 50 years, more than five million people have learned the Transcendental Meditation technique and are rising to enlightenment through their twice-daily practice. Maharishi has trained over 40,000 teachers, opened thousands of teaching centers, and founded hundreds of schools, colleges and universities. Maharishi Vedic Science programs are being applied in private businesses, public institutions and homes in every country."

Maharishi inspired Beatles but died leaving £2b and rape rumours
00:00, 7 February 2008 By Nick Webster
Maharishi died leaving £2 billion amid rumours of rape and murder.
He was the Sixth Beatle, a spiritual force with the potential to create world peace and end famine.
was an avaricious old man with a penchant for young girls who ruined the greatest pop group in history...
It rather depends on your point of view, but one thing is certain about the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi who died this week aged somewhere between 91 and 97 -he was one of the richest religious leaders in history.
The 'giggling guru' -so called because of his high-pitched laugh -lived in an opulent 200-room mansion, with helicopters and dozens of cars at his disposal, and was
worth an estimated £2billion. He was the head of a movement with five million followers worldwide, all seeking a higher consciousness through transcendental meditation.
But while the Maharishi promised world peace, and cynics laughed at his wacky teachings and yogic flying, sinister stories of sex, debauchery, and even murder cast dark shadows over his life.
All but one of the Beatles cut their ties with their apparently celibate guru after it emerged he'd made a pass at Mia Farrow. The Maharishi's people, on the other hand, insist they simply fell out when he discovered the band were using LSD.
Later another British disciple, Linda Pearce claimed the Maharishi had seduced her when he was in his 60s.
"He was a brilliant manipulator," said Mrs Pearce. "I just couldn't see that he was a dirty old man. We made love regularly. At one stage I even thought I was pregnant by him. And I don't think I was the only girl. There was a lot of talk that he'd tried to rape Mia Farrow."
And there was worse scandal to come. In 1987, when the Maharishi was living in a highsecurity complex on the outskirts of Delhi, India, the Telegraph newspaper of Calcutta alleged five boys had died after being used as guinea pigs in the ashram's "medical institute" searching for cures for cancer, heart ailments and Aids. Nothing was ever proved.
At the same time the fabulously wealthy guru's employees went on strike to increase their £10-a-month wages. The Maharishi simply moved into a five-star hotel in New Delhi until it was over.
Mahesh Prasad Varma (or Mahesh Srivastava, depending on your source) was born in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, sometime between 1911 and 1918. The son of a government tax inspector, he initially studied physics but then trained with a Vedic spiritual mentor, undertaking two years of silence in the Himalayas where he developed his ideas on transcendental meditation.
The movement the Maharishi leaves behind, after his death at his luxurious retreat in Vlodrop in the Netherlands, has been called the world's richest cult. Yet when he began his first world tour as a spiritual leader in Burma in 1958, the Maharishi was praised for his austerity.
One commentator wrote: "He asks for nothing. His worldly possessions can be carried in one hand." Meeting the Beatles a decade later changed all that. The band had been encouraged to attend a lecture by George Harrison's wife Patti, and were impressed enough by what they heard to accompany him to a weekend retreat in to North Wales.
Along with Mick Jagger and Marianne Faithfull, they took the train to Bangor -where the Maharishi assumed the mob of screaming fans were there for him.
Only a day into the retreat the news broke that the Beatles influential manager Brian
Epstein had died from a suspected drugs overdose.
Rather than let them grieve for their friend and first mentor, the Maharishi told them their tears would cause "vibrations" which could trap Epstein's spirit on this spiritual plane rather than let it travel to the next. And he instructed them to be joyful and laugh.
Months later all four Beatles, their partners and 60s stars Donovan, Mike Love of the Beach Boys, and Mia Farrow and her sister Prudence headed off for a three-month retreat to the Maharishi's centre on the banks of the Ganges.
Funded by a tithe of one week's wages from each of its students, the bank balance of the ashram received a massive boost from the world's biggest pop stars.
They expected to find spiritual enlightenment, but what they actually found was what Ringo called "a bit like Butlins." He and his then wife Maureen left after a fortnight, desperate for "egg and chips." Paul McCartney and his girlfriend Jane Asher quit too.
Then came the stories of the Maharishi's attempt to have sex with
Mia Farrow. John Lennon said later: "There was a hullabaloo about him trying to rape Mia and a few other women. The whole gang charged down to his hut and I said: 'We're leaving!' He asked why and I said: 'If you're so cosmic, you'll know why.' The Maharishi gave me a look that said: 'I'll kill you, you bastard!'"
But none of this dented the Maharishi's growing global popularity. Travelling the world in a pink aeroplane, his fame and his movement grew and he featured on the front cover of Time
magazine in 1975. His transcendental meditation technique involved silently repeating a Sanskrit mantra for 20 minutes twice a day.
And since scientific studies have now concluded it has some real health benefits, it is never short of new adherents
And at £1,300 per person for a standard introduction course, it's easy to see where the Maharishi's cash came from. But there were times when the guru's ego got the better of him... He once told an audience in New York that if just one per cent of the world's population adopted his teaching it would "neutralise the power of war for thousands of years". Consequently, he claimed credit for peacein the Lebanon and Mozambique, and forreducing crime in Washington and Merseyside.
And after the terrorist outrages of September 11, 2001 the Maharishi claimed if any government gave him a billion dollars he could end terrorism and create peace.
His claims were ridiculed -as were his 40,000 yogic fliers who, as the Natural Law Party, promised that levitating while in the Lotus position would bring peace and enlightenment. In the end it brought just 0.4 per cent of the votes in the election.
Last month the guru, who lately communicated through a videolink, announced his retirement. His spokesman Bob Roth says:"He'd done what he set out to do." Apart from world peace.

Jeremy Paxman calling Bible's Genesis 'hogwash' ruled offensive – Daily TV round-up
By Ben Arnold | Yahoo! TV News – 3 hours ago
Jeremy Paxman's description of the book of Genesis in the Bible as 'hogwash' has been ruled 'offensive' by the BBC Trust.
The presenter of 'Newsnight' also said those who believe in the Old Testament in a literal sense were 'stupid people'.

His remarks, which were made during an item on writer Richard Dawkins' latest book 'The Magic Of Reality: How We Know What's Really True' last October, were investigated by the Trust's Editorial Standards Committee, which deemed them 'offensive to some parts of the audience'.
The decision was appealed, but the Trust upheld the original complaint.
It said: “Although Mr Paxman's use of the terms 'religious hogwash' and 'stupid people' was not intended to cause deliberate offence, particularly to those with religious views and beliefs, the use of the terms was offensive to some of the audience and there was no clear editorial purpose for their use in the context of this 'Newsnight' item.”
It then added that viewers of the show were 'unlikely to have expected Jeremy Paxman's typically robust and confrontational interviewing style to extend to the use of the terms 'religious hogwash' when introducing the story of Genesis, and 'stupid people' when talking about those with a literal belief in the Old Testament in the context of the item about religious myths'. Star of 'The Wire' Lance Reddick has said that 'Downton Abbey's success could be thanks to the Baltimore-based cop drama. “The legacy of 'The Wire' is tricky,” he said. “It changed television in that it set the bar to a whole new level -a level that I think has never been done before. I also think that something like 'Downton Abbey' -which is so complex and so rich in characters -in some ways its popularity is possibly due to 'The Wire'. People realised that this can be done and that people want to watch.” Meanwhile, writer Julian Fellowes has said that a fourth series of the show is in the planning stages. Why a Dallas UM pastor is observing the Muslim fast of Ramadan

United Methodist Rev. Wess Magruder has not only decided to observe the Ramadan fast this year with his Muslim friends, blog about his experience, but break his fast with Muslims as well. Last night, Magruder accepted the invitation of a local Muslim to eat “iftar,” the fast-breaking meal at the McKinney Islamic Association. Having succeeded in fasting from sunrise till sunset for eight consecutive days, the pastor appreciated God's grace in this communal meal. Most importantly, this celebration reminded him of the main reason why he had decided to fast: neighborly love.
Magruder writes on his blog how he has been feeling spiritually stale lately and how he was yearning to the old Christian fast that he believes Americans are not big fans of. Therefore, Magruder turned to the Muslim faith for inspiration since he knew that Muslims have successfully been fasting for 30 days each year during Ramadan for over fourteen hundred years. The Muslim fast is a total abstention from eating and drinking during the daylight hours. Furthermore, the fast goes beyond the stomach to include the eyes, the tongue, the ears, and all limbs which are expected to be trained to submit to the pleasure of God by refraining from ill manners and moral vice. A few Muslims succeed in attaining a heart-fast where they become spiritually submissive to the divine as well.
Thus, Magruder’s blog includes a lot of comparative religion as well as spiritual efforts for a quest for the Divine. "I feel a constant “buzz” [during the fast] in my head," he wrote. "This buzz serves a useful purpose, by the way. It keeps me conscious of God, of God’s presence, of God’s will that is bursting to become real in the world. And so when something else isn’t going on in front of me, the buzz reminds me to speak to God."
Another main reason that the pastor took on the Muslim fast is his Christian ethics of loving God and loving neighbors. “But there’s another reason that I have chosen to ‘act like a Muslim’ over the next thirty days. I truly want to stand in solidarity with my friend, [Imam Sheikh] Yaseen, and his congregation in Plano. I want them to know that I do not resent their presence in my community and country. In fact, I am very glad that they are here.” (The New MethoFesto)
Not realizing what his blogging experience might trigger, Rev. Magruder woke up on July 26, the seventh day of Ramadan, to a flooded email inbox with comments from his blog. His blog posts have been picked up by local Muslims and Christians as well as by nation-wide readers who sent words of encouragement, advice, and support. The Huffington Post Ramadan Liveblog even included his posts. “I am overwhelmed by the response,” Magruder wrote.
Most Muslim commentators gave the pastor “high fives,” advice on surviving the fast, and thank you notes for sharing the experience online. One particular reader, Osman, invited Magruder to the break-fasting meal at the McKinney mosque mentioned earlier. Thus, this individual initiative on the part of a loving Christian neighbor was received with outpouring love and compassion and resulted in more friendships.
However, not all blog readers are Muslim. A few are Christian fellows who appreciated Magruder’s initiative in building bridges within the Abrahamic faith and in sharing the Muslim experience. Others were not quite impressed as they believed that this fast is a tough one and meaningless. Some non-Muslim readers also expressed their critical views about Islam and Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia as far as tolerance and the status of women. In a nut shell, the blog turned out to be an interfaith dialog where people from every faith contribute a thought or two and carry on a civilized conversation.
The DFW Muslim community has always been blessed with friendships, alliances, and bridges it shares with the larger American community. But this year, as more non-Muslims like Rev. Magruder are choosing to observe the Ramadan fast with Muslims as signs of compassion and solidarity, American Muslims locally and nationally are appreciative of such initiatives to close gaps between faith traditions and bring more understanding to our nation. American Muslims know that they are not alone in fasting this year because they are home.

Monday This was taken yesterday. Today, I learned that my loss of 20 pounds and Gym Regimen plus Low Carb reasonability have returned my blood sugar and blood pressure to normal. Last doctor visit: 197 pounds. This doctor visit: 175 pounds. . . . No rocket science here. Off to the Gym tonight! I couldn't discuss idiots McCain, Lieberman, and Lindsay Graham with Press TV Iran
U.S. Desk yesterday since I was doing my Sunday gig with Immanuel Lutheran here. Watched a 007 episode with the Rescue Puppies in lieu of more Olympic coverage after services.

THE REAL CHRISTIAN RIGHT
Niece Ann Dankof, Mother Vera and Reverend Mark Dankof
Mark Dankof’s broadcast with Mark Glenn and John Sharpe – 8 August 2012
MAX from Canada: When I think of Christ, I think of peace and strength and as a political and military figure. We need him right here and right now. I look at “The Ugly truth” as a WAR COLLEGE!
But Jesus is right here. He has always been right here. The problem is that those who say they believe in him and his Message cannot see him because their heart is so hardened and they are unable to find the Kingdom of God within. I try to keep away from too much faith because this too tends too often to cloud the issues and the realities.
It is easier for me to think as a Christian because I have managed to find comfort in my religion as a non Roman, non Apostolic Catholic Muslim, that is, Islam. This has shocked and confused both mainstream Christians and Muslims. But, we will see the end of Zionism and Jewish Supremacism only the day we see Christians admit they too are Muslims, non Roman Muslim Catholics. I waste my time explaining any further as I will make no disciples and do not intend to. I cannot even find thinking or simple curious people who want to know what I really mean by Muslim Catholic and Catholic Muslim.
But, let me say it anyway otherwise nobody reading this will understand what the heck I am talking about!
I understand by MUSLIM CATHOLIC, any Muslim who practices universal (Catholic) Islam, and by non Roman and non Apostolic I understand and simply mean non sectarian. Islam is universal, that is a Catholic religion!
I understand by NON ROMAN CATHOLIC CHRISTIAN MUSLIM, simply a non Sectarian Catholic or Christian who fully submits to God Almighty and this by definition means MUSLIM!
This looks like a play on words, but it is not. This is exactly what it is, but humans have the tendency of giving different meanings to the same word and this causes the rift.
One simple example is when Western Christians write or speak about AL LAH, which in English is THE GOD, they insist this is THE GOD of Muslims and not of Christians. This is a big mistake. Muslims do use the word GOD for AL LAH. So, the day Christians will understand and feel comfortable calling GOD AL LAH, like their Brothers and Sisters whose mother tongue is Arabic, they will understand how mistaken and misled by the respective Churches they have been for more than a millennium. This Christian-Muslim rapprochement is vital.
But, in the West they use the word God and Jesus interchangeably. This is a serious blunder. In Arab speaking countries, Christians call God Allah and ‘Isa and Mary the Mother of Allah, Um Allah! This is blasphemous to Muslims, but this is the Christian religion and there is nothing we can do about it! Did you hear of any Catholic or Christian being killed by Muslims in any Arab countries for calling Mary UM ALLAH?
Reverend Mark Dankof says he is an “Evangelical Orthodox Lutheran Christian”, yet I would feel happy if I could hear followers of Christ calling them simply CHRISTIANS! Followers of Muhammad cannot call themselves Muhammadan because Islam has already called anybody that submits to the will of God MUSLIMS.
Followers of Christ are Muslims too, but they cannot see that because they submit to Jesus and not to God!
This very day Ghyslaine ROC had to tell a young Shia girl by the name Nizlah Sheik Panchoo this:
“Correct your details on facebook as they are laughable and even blasphemous: Muslims are WILLING SERVANTS (or “slaves” as some put it!) of ALLAH and not “SLAVES OF “PANJATAN PAAK” because this is damn SHIRK! You did not say you were a Muslim but a “SHIA”!
Shias and some crazy (ignorant) Muslims are notorious for worshipping Saints like in many other religions, but this is strictly forbidden in Islam. Nizlah clearly associates God with the “Five Holy Ones” and we often see pictures of a hand with five fingers and an eye on the palm in Shias’ homes. They pray to it!
WHO WILL BENEFIT THE SUNNI-SHIA AND CHRISTIAN-MUSLIM WARS?
A $6,000,000 question that you all will win except the dummies!
Do you realise how shameful the future generations of the warmongers and predators of the planet would feel when they look at the images or live footage (assuming they are still available!) of the atrocities and abominable monstrosities committed by their Christian and non Christian forefathers and foremothers against defenceless nations?
As for the innocent Muslims who have been dragged into these Western-MOSSAD orchestrated rebellions in the Middle East, I do understand why they are doing it. When the killings and slaughter start, the people go crazy! Do not ask people who see their kids and loved ones slaughtered or starved right before their eyes to think straight! They are not dealing with civilised armies with honour, but ruthless killers and savage mercenaries, including some of their own who have been brainwashed for decades and living under oppression at home as well as abroad. Britain is arming and training many Pakistani apostates, renegades and traitors to do their dirty job abroad!
I am also a first hand witness of organised (orchestrated) “Sunni” degeneracy, backwardness, treachery, money-mindedness, selfishness, hypocrisy, but I would not mix Islam with that decadence of poorly educated and vulnerable people who have themselves survived so many holocausts perpetrated by the warmongers and plundering barbarians and savages and lived under oppression and cultural terrorism for centuries under the yoke of Western Judeo-Christian, Secular, Communist and Buddhist yoke, and under Hindu yoke since more than half a century.
So, our task is made much harder, but is not impossible.
