Iranian host family brushing up my Persian and going on a few little
trips here and there. Not really time to form a firm opinion, but
I'll tell you about what I've found among the youth I've met -

The youth I have met so far have a very idealized view of the United
States and 'the west' in general. Its the land of milk and honey and
you can drink alcohol with impunity. That's a rather limited view of
"freedom" and having spent many years of my mis-spent youth vomiting
into the neighbors garden at parties, I'm not sure that's such a
good barometer of "freedom". Neither are disco's and scantily clad
women. But try telling that to the few young males I've met?
I spoke with Agah (Mister) Ali. A young man eager for the opportunities of 'the west'. He asked me what television news I would like to watch one night. I replied, "Press TV or RT (Russia Today)". He threw his head back and laughed. "We don't watch Press TV here!" I asked him what he did watch? "BBC Persian," came the reply with a slightly smug look that belied a sense of sophistication about his choice of news channel. I replied, "Agah Ali, do you seriously believe the British government spends £1.5 billion on the British Brainwashing Corporation so it can give you an honest appraisal of news that affects Iranians? The BBC serves the interests of the British government and in turn the Zionists and their globalist agenda." He shrugged and turned the satellite connection over to the 'Persian Pop Channel' that blasts out of Los Angeles. A pure propaganda effort run by Zionists of the highest order, who believe "freedom" is a half naked woman sticking her tongue down a strangers throat on camera. In contrast, a much older Persian lady began laughing loudly when I gave my opinion of the BBC and propaganda to Agah Ali. She had much experience of her own ancient culture and that of 'the west'. When the channel was turned she shrugged and sighed, "The youth."
What I'm finding again and again when I interact with Iranians is that they constantly mix their anger and disappointment with the economy and a lack of financial opportunity with a belief that 'the west' is somehow "superior". I'm sure this is not the case throught Persian society but i've sensed it's self evidently presence in the short time I've been here. Would these same people be so dreamy eyed about 'the west' if the Iranian economy was released from the shackles/shekels of economic sanctions? This is why those sanctions have been kept for another ten years and worse may be in store - they will plug away at the youth of Iran. The Zionist Globalists will make life as unbearably bleak as possible for young Iranians with a seeming lack of economic opportunity. All the while they beam in the fake economic good time imagery via satellite, bought with a giant Federal Reserve credit card bill that Americans can never repay. This is not a repeat of the destabilization of the Ukraine and a George Soros led "Orange Revolution". This is a slow motion version with possible harsher measures in mind.
Agah Ali is hard to convince about the disparity between the imagery pumped into his living room and the cold hard facts on the ground in places like the UK, Europe, America and Australia. I cant convince him of the disaster of the complete fracturing of the nuclear and extended family that has left a vast swathe of ADD diagnosed mentally ill children and their parents - highly vulnerable to Zonist Globalist manipulation. I cant convince Agah Ali of the danger of the deliberate psychological warfare waged daily on Australians and others with the imagery of "popular culture" that pushes forward the rights of the individual above the obligations of said individuals to their neighbors and community. This has led to the beginnings of a complete psychological and social breakdown of 'the west'. The current backlash we see in present day politics in Europe, the UK and America against "progressive values" is just the beginning - an "Orange Revolution" of our own. How can I convince Agah Ali that the candy he so badly craves is poisoned and will put him to sleep? Poisoned with genetically modified food; poisoned vaccines; poisoned politics; poisoned communities; poisoned families? While they tell me personally they crave a man who will lead, take control and allow them to look after the kids - the most important job of all - 'the west' tells them motherhood is a lowly profession and men are an oppressor, holding her back from her full academic, business and sexual/porn star potential. Is this what Iran wants to let in the door? Obviously not. In the movie "Falling Down" (1993) starring Michael Douglas, we see a middle class mortgage payer watching his career, his marriage and his society fall apart under the Reaganite era of economic rationalism and off shoring of American industry. Eventually, he snaps, and decides to tell America exactly how he feels about it. This movie has never been more relevant than right now. In my favorite scene, the Douglas character buys a burger from a fast food outlet and notes the disparity between the imagery on the wall - portraying the promise of the American Dream - and the actual sad and pathetic "miserable squashed thing" that is actually served to him...
Convincing Agah Ali and a whole swathe of Iranian youth that the "freedom" they crave in 'the west' is a "miserable squashed thing" is a tough task. has blocked all my VPN's and I am asking them for $4000 to leave. I want nothing more to do with
them.
They are
also preventing me from sending any pictures from my phone via email or
whatsapp etc.
They were
pissed about that innocuous article I wrote about Iranian innocence. I told them too
fucking bad. What I have written I have written. I don't want anything to do

It has
been a debacle since I got here. They have shoved me from pillar to post. Just
as I was happy, I would get shunted somewhere else. All Iranians can do is
complain to me.
I had
just got off the damned plane Henry with four people in the car and they shove
a FULL cup of 100 proof vodka in my hand and scream...NO FREEDOM! No, you cant
make this stuff up.
I tried
to explain that the West is not exactly free either unless you count shopping
and downloading porn and ingesting drugs as freedom. There are desperate
looking people in Tehran rummaging through garbage bins. Meanwhile, the rich of
the northern suburbs do well and Persian Jews are the wealthiest of all. I
don't know if this is the revolution I am looking for. Imam Khomanie would be
rolling in his grave.
I cannot

I was
happy for two days with my first host. She was deemed "politically unreliable"
I take it, and as I was trying to organize a farsi course I was suddenly told I
was being moved. Then it just went to total shit. Moved constantly. They would
ask me if I was happy. I would say, "yes". Then, they would move me a
day later. The next woman spent all day trying to convert me to Islam and
playing games and I was absolutely fucking livid but I kept my cool, thinking
of "the big picture". But I have had a fucking 'nuff.
I went
from Tehran to Khansar (5 hours on bus), back to Tehran. Then 4 hours by car to
Caspian Sea. Then, it was suddenly decided this was not alright after I said I
would stay there and they shoved me back to Tehran. We stayed one day and it
was again decided to shove me back to Khansar. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON! ?
Now I sit
in an apartment in podunk Khansar by my fucking self awaiting the arrival
of the organizer who I'm sure is going to say it is all a big misunderstanding
- let it be known. There is nothing to salvage. You created a fucking debacle
and you have cost me $2000 precious fucking dollars all up because you are
clearly incompetent. Imagine a Iranian political dissident going through this
in America? think about it? I just want to hammer Israel and Jewish power. Give
me three people, who speak english, I will learn farsi, an internet connection
camera s and off we go. Real fucking easy.
They
nearly killed me with the constant eating till midnight and assurances I would
insult my host if I did not accept invitations to my 400th dinner. No matter

I cannot stay in a place where I am not free to speak my mind and I am always worried about saying what I really think here.
I
was happy for two days with my first host. She was deemed "politically
unreliable" I take it, and as I was trying to organize a farsi course I
was suddenly told I was being moved. Then it just went to total shit.
Moved constantly. They would ask me if I was happy. I would say, "yes".
Then, they would move me a day later. The next woman spent all day
trying to convert me to Islam and playing games and I was absolutely
fucking livid but I kept my cool, thinking of "the big picture". But I
have had a fucking 'nuff.
I
went from Tehran to Khansar (5 hours on bus), back to Tehran. Then 4
hours by car to Caspian Sea. Then, it was suddenly decided this was not
alright after I said I would stay there and they shoved me back to
Tehran. We stayed one day and it was again decided to shove me back to
Khansar. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON! ?
Now
I sit in an apartment in podunk Khansar by my fucking self awaiting
the arrival of the organizer who I'm sure is going to say it is all a
big misunderstanding - let it be known. There is nothing to salvage. You
created a fucking debacle and you have cost me $2000 precious fucking
dollars all up because you are clearly incompetent. Imagine a Iranian
political dissident going through this in America? think about it? I
just want to hammer Israel and Jewish power. Give me three people, who
speak english, I will learn farsi, an internet connection camera s and
off we go. Real fucking easy.
They
nearly killed me with the constant eating till midnight and assurances I
would insult my host if I did not accept invitations to my 400th
dinner. No matter how many times I explained I have high blood sugar
they would shove another plate of food in my face 5 minutes later.
Look
Henry - I bit my lower lip for the cause but I think I am over it all. I
rejected a lot of offers from Australia but I am seriously thinking of
going back. I am over this whole middle east conflict. I am beginning to
think they deserve each other. I don't even think Iran wants Israel to
go away. I think they need each other. This is not my fight and this is
not the first time it has crossed my mind. It has just become a stark
reality for me - 7000 miles from home. In podunk, though lovely,
Khansar.

Thats what I left to be blocked from all my contacts online and ability
to communicate. I may as well be in fucking Australia.
Iran is MOST DEFINITELY NOT FOR ME. EVER.

hope Iranian intel get the message. Hand me $4000 and I can be on my
way. Any one this fucking incompetent is not people I want to be around
and I have heard this constantly from Iranians. Hell, my press tv
contact said the place is a third world country and press tv is run by a
bunch of incompetent tossers. How's that for a welcome Henry? You can't
make this shit up.
I don't feel comfortable Henry. I don't feel safe and I just want out of here.
