Alyas Karmani has 20 years of work experience in the Public Sector across a range of policy areas specialising in Equality and Diversity. He is an accomplished academic with six years of experience as a researcher and lecturer at Bradford and Leeds Universities- department of Social Policy.
Alyas Karmani was former head of (the bogus) Race Equality for the Welsh
Assembly Government 2004. He is currently a consultant for West
Yorkshire and London Probation service in relation to resettlement and
reintegration of Muslim Offenders. Alyas has a Psychology background
with close to 20 years of counselling and therapy work focussing on
Muslim centred mental health and emotional well being. Alyas is also an
Imam and Khateeb (preacher/presenting Friday sermons) at a number of
Mosques in the North of England and across the UK. Alyas is also a
specialist in youth empowerment and emotional well- being having been a
senior policy advisor for the Welsh Assembly government relating to
youth empowerment and development 2008-2009. In 2008-2009 Alyas
completed a project called 'Reducing the risks of radicalisation for
prisoners' funded by the EU and undertaken jointly with London Probation
service- the research was based on direct work with terrorist offenders

Muslim Massacre in Myanmar (BURMA)

The beautiful mountains of Arakan divide
the state from central Burma and the beautiful plains of the state
house a population of 800,000 |Rohingya Muslims who claim to be living
on these shores for hundreds of years. A claim resolutely denied by the
Military rulers of Burma and the Buddhist community as
they believe that Rohingya population are descendants of Chittagong
Bengalis and only moved to Burma in 1863. Even if the twisted version of
the dictator party is accepted as correct still it has been a good 150
years since these people started living their lives in Burma. They are
not considered citizens though and are not issued with passports or
rights of citizenship by a government which derives its power from the
Buddhist religious base. Over the last 70 years these Muslims have been
given the rough end of the deal by British, Japanese and the Burmese
governments resulting in a mass exodus to Bangladesh and Thailand.
Situation changed dramatically when Bangladesh decided to seal her
borders to these refugees as they are struggling with the sheer numbers
and the thigh border guards let the ship of these refugees sink and the
men and women aboard drown.
A month ago three Muslim boys were
accused of raping and killing a Buddhist girl and were arrested. One of
them was reported to have killed himself while other two were sentenced
to death after a trial of 4 days. The Muslim version of story varies
from the state version as Muslim community argues that one of the boys
fell in love with the Burmese girl and managed to flee with her, later
to be captured and tortured to death in custody and the other two boys
were innocent. Whichever version was correct didn’t matter as the local
Buddhist community attacked a bus killing 10 Muslims. Military moved in
after 30 Muslims deaths and within 2 days the death toll for Rohingya
Muslims raised to 680 as the military and security forces of Burma led
the Muslim hunting process which is continuing with no end in sight. UN
or aid agencies are not allowed in |Rakhine and media organisations are
banned as well. Any food or life saving supplies can not be given
directly and have to go through the government aid agency. This leaves
Muslims of Arakan helpless, hopeless and in a miserable plight awaiting
torture, death and destruction on daily basis.
In this heart wrenching state of affairs
UAE government continues to spend billions on a football club, Saudis
are celebrating the crowning of new prince, Turkey is rejoicing on its
economic success, Pakistan is dealing with its political crisis,
Bangladesh has ceased to invite any more refugees and Iran is fighting
against UN sanctions. Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan, and other rich Arab
countries are falling over each other to get in to good books of US.
When the governments fail to take up a serious issue the media of those
countries screams about the injustice and cruelty to make the
governments act, but in this case all the major Muslim media
organisations have better news and affairs to discuss and deal with.
The silence of the graveyard, where lies
the corpse of Muslim ummah and their unity and brotherhood. As for
Burmese Rohingya Muslims the writing is on the wall, no oil, no money,
no state of their own and no monitory benefits to attract the Muslim
governments and their media, so all they can do is to await the
slaughter that shall come sooner or later. One resolution in UN
unanimously drafted by Islamic world could do the trick by putting
diplomatic pressure on militant rulers of Burma but frankly who cares
and who has got the time to avert the spice of life and think about poor
Muslims of Burma.

Burma is a country located between South
Asia and South East Asia, with an area of about 261,970 square miles
and a population of nearly 56 million with a population density of 75
per square kilometer (190 /sq mi), one of the lowest in Southeast Asia.
It achieved independence from Britain on January 4 of 1948 as “Union of Burma.” It is home to nearly 140 ethnic groups each with its own language, customs and beliefs (of which only 134 outside the majority Burmese are recognized by the government) who inhabit 7 states comprising roughly 60% of the total area.
Burmese history records constant struggle between competing forces starting in the 10th century with the Kings of Bagan and later at the courts of Ava and Amarapura. Some want autonomy, others just want a better deal and some find no voice at all. The new constitution recognizes the ethnic diversity of Myanmar and acknowledges the traditions and customs of indigenous people – the tricky bit is keeping everyone happy.
The Muslim populations do, however, face religious persecution and it is hard, if not impossible, for non-Buddhists to join the army or get government jobs, the main route to success in the country. Such persecution and targeting of Muslims is particularly notable in Eastern Burma, where over 3000 villages have been destroyed in the past ten years.
The Burmese are the largest and most dominant ethnic group, who inhabit the remainder 7 divisions. The majority people are followers of Theraveda Buddhism.
Muslims (4% of total Burmese population) form the second largest religious community, numbering 7 to 10 million people. Almost every city or town in Burma has a Muslim community. There are also Muslim and mixed Muslim villages throughout Burma. Rakhine State (formerly known as Arakan State) in western Burma has the highest concentration of Muslim inhabitants. Muslims have lived in Burma for more than a millennium, although some have arrived only after Burma’s annexation by Great Britain in the early 19th century. Christianity and other religions are also practiced. Islam is also practiced in Burma by Burmese, Indians, ethnic Bengalis and some ethnic minorities.
The rule by the military junta of Burma is tyrannical and despotic one. There is no independent judiciary in Burma. Forced labor, human trafficking, and child labor are common. The military is also notorious for rampant use of sexual violence as an instrument of control, including allegations of systematic rapes and taking of sex slaves as porters for the military and when it comes to Muslim minority, the wilderness cross the limits.
Burma’s draconian citizenship law makes it impossible for many Muslims to become citizens and receive national identity cards. Without the identity cards, Muslims have a difficult time traveling, getting an education or finding a job. They cannot carry on social relations and conduct business. Because of racial and religious discrimination and lack of an identity card, they cannot even get a job in a private company. The lucky few who are able to get identity cards are barred from holding high office in any government job.
Religious restrictions have also been placed on Muslims. They cannot bring the Qur’an or religious books from outside nor are they allowed to print them inside. There is a prohibition on the construction of new mosques and repairs to existing ones are limited to the interiors only. Groups of more than five Muslims are prohibited from assembling in cities and towns. Permission must be sought, which is often denied, to hold religious ceremonies and celebrate social occasions. Muslim religious leaders are under constant surveillance by the SPDC. They cannot conduct religious and social services properly. All Islamic schools are now banned. Muslim Imams cannot teach Islam in any gathering, even in the privacy of their homes.
The SPDC regime exploits religion to strengthen its hold onto power. It confiscates Muslim land and properties and alters demography by implanting Buddhists from outside to settle. Muslim-owned land and homes are then delivered to these new settlers. To bolster their Buddhist image, while they demolish mosques and Islamic schools, they are engaged in massively expensive pagoda-building and Buddhist ceremonies. Many of these pagodas and monasteries are built on confiscated Muslim properties. Worse still, Muslims must pay for such construction projects, including Buddhist festivities and funeral services. Muslim cemeteries are now routinely desecrated for conducting Buddhist funeral services. Islam is treated as a “threat” involving foreigners (the “Ka La” – blacks or Indians from outside; used derogatorily).
Racial and religious tensions have run high between Muslims and Burmese since independence in 1948. Successive Burmese regimes have encouraged or instigated violence against Muslims as a way of diverting the public’s attention away from economic or political concerns. The most recent outbreak of violence against Muslims occurred in the Arakan state in February of this year. To instigate these riots, sometimes the members of the regime have been found to spread rumors and distribute booklets and leaflets enticing Buddhists to attack Muslims. As a result, many mosques, homes, shops and schools were destroyed and many Muslims were killed or injured. Many people are of the view; about 20,000 Muslims have been killed in the past few weeks.
Racist teachers (representing state-sponsored religion) have been known to teach that Muslims were brought in by the colonial regime and have only caused problem. Many are forced to convert to the religion of the majority if they want to gain access to higher education and better job. Students are expelled from the schools if they refuse to learn the religion of the majority people. Muslim elders are arrested for submitting petition requesting that Muslims students be spared from such religious classes. Building of Muslims schools is banned and Muslim religious teachers routinely face torture and execution.
Muslim villagers are ordered to worship the god of the majority people. They must also pay obeisance to (worship) monks, failing which they may face torture and death. Villagers are pressured to convert to religion of the majority. They are forced to contribute large chunks of money toward donations to monasteries for the dominant religious group. Muslim places of worship are routinely demolished to make room for altars of the dominant group. Muslim homes and shops are destroyed under all kinds of pretexts. Muslims are also ordered to erect shelf altars in their homes. They are ordered to become vegetarians and not to raise cattle. Eating meat may result in heavy fines, including torture and imprisonment.
While the situation is simply bleak for all inside Burma except a privileged class within the Burmese ethnic group professing Buddhism (who runs the SPDC – State Peace and Development Council – regime), the situation is worse for Muslims and worst yet for the Rohingya Muslims who live in the Arakan (Rakhine) state of Burma. Their suffering simply has no parallel in our time because of their Muslim identity and annulment of citizenship rights.

Christians United For Israel: Building an Evangelical Army to Defend Zionism

Pastor John Hagee, founder of
Christians United For Israel (CUFI), has been at the forefront of
pro-Zionist propaganda and integral in the building of an evangelical
army ready to defend the agenda of the Zionist movement.
CUFI is holding a two day
conference to discuss the “critical decisions [that] are going to be
made about Iran, Israel and the world” as they are supportive of the
Obama administrations false flag assertions that Iran is hiding a
nuclear program that intends to procure or produce a nuclear weapon.

The IDF are the military forces
for the State of Israel. However, they are involved in societal issues
and influential in controlling and dissemination of propaganda by
directly participating in the local economy, culture and political
venues. Since 1967, the US has had close ties to the IDF with regard to
developing cooperation on military technology and defense systems.
The CUFI Conference will provide
training sessions that will instill pro-Zionist perspectives on the
Israeli-Arab conflicts. During the “Myth and Facts: Refuting the
Negative Myths About Israel” workshop, attendees will be schooled as to
defending the Israeli “battlefield ethics” in regard to the mass
executions of Palestinians that continues to this day. While paralleling
Israeli military experts who can “reveal the truth behind the headlines
and empower you to respond to Israel’s accusers with confidence” Sgt
Nadav Weinberg, veteran Israeli combat solider will speak on the
justification of the slow extinction of the Palestinian people on the
Gaza Strip.
Educating evangelical Christians
on the ins-and-outs of Christian Zionism is all important to the agenda
of this conference. While the movement appears to support the Christian
belief that the return of the Jews to the Holy Land (Jerusalem) will
usher in the second coming of Jesus Christ (also referred to as
Restorationism); the actual agenda is much more sinister.
The Globalist Zionists have used
chicanery to convince the encompassing evangelical movement to dedicate
their unwavering support to Israel because a Jewish return to the Land
of Israel, along with the parallel idea that the Jews ought to be
encouraged to become Christian, as a means fulfilling a Biblical
prophecy has been common in Protestant circles since the Reformation.
Yet the only event they are assisting in preserving is the creation of a
One World Government.
Jewish Zionism is the primary
advocate of the State of Israel and seeks to protect the movement from
anti-Semitic discrimination, exclusion and persecution from other
societies. By equating the Jewish people with Zionism, the global Elite
have been able to hide in plain sight and become the over-reaching
influence that we call by many different names. Historically, Zionism is
a political credo introduced by the Rothschild family. The perfect
cover of establishing a State of Israel has allowed the global Elite to
use the influential power of government to advance their interests and
manipulate an entire group of people for the sake of ensuring One World
Government.
In support of Israeli and Zionist
agendas, the Obama administration created the Atrocities Prevention
Board (APB). This group is headed by Samantha Power, who is a member of
Obama for America; a Blue State Digital organization that conducts
surveillance on American citizens through social media sites to better
market to them for the purpose of coercing them to support and
ultimately vote for Obama in 2012.
Obama’s APB will monitor and seek
to eradicate anti-Semitism in foreign nations in support for Israel’s
schemes. The APB and Obama’s executive order called “Blocking the
Property and Suspending Entry into the US of Certain Persons with
Respect to Grave Human Rights Abuses by the Governments of Iran and
Syria via Information Technology” will give the US government obligation
to reprimand corporations on behalf of the Jewish community that use
the Reform Movement’s Religious Action Center (RMRAC) lobbying firm to
represent them.
The CUFI are a national
association that supports Israeli agendas by infiltrating “every
pro-Israel church, para-church organization, ministry or individual in
America.” They intend on converting as many Christians to their
pro-Zionist movement as they can through coercive programs of
“education, outreach and events.”
Like the clergy response teams
deployed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), CUFI use the
Bible to keep their congregations under the directives of the US
government like blind followers who are intimidated into going along
without question because of Roman 13. As Durell Turberville explained:
“. . . because the government is established by the Lord, you know. And,
that’s what we believe in the Christian faith. That’s what’s stated in
the scripture.”
The CUFI Conference in
Washington, DC will bring together elected officials, representatives of
the Zionist Elite, and the congregations of evangelical Christians that
will be the “grassroots” voice that will demand efforts be made to
usher in Global Governance; under the covering of expediting the
stability of Israel so that Jesus Christ may return.
Religious coercion is a powerful
weapon, and one that the global Elite have been working like puppet
masters behind the scenes for centuries. Zionists hold key positions of
absolute influence in entertainment, mainstream news media, banking and
multi-national corporations. They are now gearing up to push their
agendas through all avenues of control.

US rewarding Myanmar for massacring Muslims

Dear American Buddhist brothers and sisters,
I am writing to every contact listed at Buddhanet.info’s American Buddhist Directory to ask:
Are you aware of the ongoing genocide in Myanmar (Burma) -- a genocide that is being committed in the name of Buddhism?
And did you know that the United States of America bears responsibility for this genocide, since the US has been rewarding the Myanmar regime with ever-closer political and economic ties during recent months of accelerating atrocities?
As American Buddhists, you are in a position to help stop this genocide, by pressuring the US and Myanmar governments as well as international human rights organizations. Your visible participation in the campaign to save the Rohingya people from extermination by murderous Buddhist fanatics will not only help draw the world’s attention to this horrific situation, but also help restore the image of Buddhism as a religion of compassion.
The facts about the genocide in Myanmar are not in dispute. The fanatical Buddhist nationalists, who unfortunately represent a large segment of the roughly 60 million Buddhists in Myanmar, admit that they are trying to uproot and exterminate the roughly one million Muslim Rohingya from land that the Rohingya have lived on for centuries.

“People do not get citizenship just because born there or illegally lived there for centuries.” This statement, which aptly sums up the official policy of the Burmese regime, could get the person who made it, and the government that follows it, hanged for crimes against humanity. Obviously, being born in a modern nation to a family that has been there for centuries automatically confers citizenship. And obviously, any modern nation that denies citizenship to such people, burns their homes and communities, and murders them en masse, with the aim of removing them from the nation of their birth, is committing the internationally-recognized crime of genocide.
In recent weeks, many thousands of homes, and more than 20 mosques, have been burned by murderous Buddhist mobs, backed by national security forces, in the Arakan state of Myanmar. Estimates of the number of Rohingya Muslims murdered, whether directly or by drowning in the Naf River, as they flee the killers, range from the thousands to the tens of thousands. Every one of the more than 500 mosques in Arakan has been taken over by the genocidal regime’s security forces and shut down, and they are being demolished one-by-one. (This happened during the holy month of Ramadan, when Muslims are supposed to spend as much time as possible in a mosque.)
Muslims have been living in Burma since roughly 800 c.e. -- that is, nearly for as long as the religion of Islam has existed. And Arakan has been a Muslim region, ruled by Muslim kings and/or populated by Bengali Muslims, since 1430. The most notable population increase of Muslims in Arakan took place in the 1600s. The idea that the Rohingya people are somehow “recent immigrants” to the region is clinically insane -- a symptom of the larger insanity known as nationalist fanaticism.”Both Buddhism and Islam are universalist religions: They proclaim truths that are valid for all people, indeed for all of existence. And the core truth that both religions proclaim is the primacy of compassion. In Buddhism, a central feature of the Buddha nature is compassion for all beings. If one were to choose a single hallmark of a successful advanced practitioner of Buddhism, it would be a highly-developed sense of compassion.
Whatever has happened to the Myanmar Buddhists’ compassion for their fellow citizens who happen to be born as Rohingyas?
Islam, too, views compassion as a central reality of creation. Muslim theologians, like the more advanced Christian and Jewish religious thinkers, view God as ineffable; but the primary and overriding tangible characteristic of God in Islam (with the proviso that no tangible characteristics fully express the reality of the one ineffable God) is rahma, or compassion. The two adjectives Muslims use the most to “describe” God are ar-rahman ar-rahim, usually translated as “the merciful, the compassionate.” (The root of rahma and its cognates derives from the word for “womb,” suggesting that this “compassion” has something in common with the nurturing, all-embracing, unconditional love that mothers feel for their children.)
Additionally, both Buddhism and Islam teach us to transcend or even annihilate the (tribal) ego. Buddhism offers a set of teachings that take its practitioners beyond the ego, which is the source of the endless desire that is the cause of the pervasive suffering or disappointment that characterizes ordinary human existence. Likewise, Islam teaches its serious practitioners to annihilate the “ego that desires evil” through absolute submission to God. Each religion offers a very similar cure for the unhappiness of the ordinary human condition.
The kind of chest-thumping egotistical nationalism that proclaims “I am a Buddhist, my heroic nation is Buddhist, I am so much better than those non-Buddhists that I must kill them or exile them” is about as far from the compassionate teachings of the Buddha as it is possible to get. Likewise, extremist Muslims who proclaim that their narrow version of Islam is the only truth, and that everyone who disagrees should be killed, are equally far from the universal, all-compassionate message proclaimed by God through Prophet Muhammad (peace upon him).
Muslims and Buddhists ought to unite against ego-driven nationalist fanaticism, which is an affront to both religious traditions. A good starting point would be joining forces against the genocide in Myanmar. Below are some suggestions for action.

1. Write and call Myanmar’s government contacts pointing out that every modern nation agrees that anyone born inside a nation, whose parents and ancestors also lived on that territory, is automatically a citizen of that nation and must be protected by that nation's government.
2. Contact Amnesty International’s International Secretariat and Amnesty International USA to demand that they issue an Appeal for Action to save the Rohingya people.
3. Contact Human Rights Watch to thank them for their attempts to bring attention to the plight of the Rohingya, and ask them to do more.
4. Contact the Center for Justice and Accountability to ask that they seek the prosecution of Myanmar leaders for genocide.
5. Contact The Carter Center to suggest that Jimmy Carter attempt to visit Arakan to bring humanitarian relief and stop the genocide.
6. Contact the Genocide Intervention Network and ask them to accelerate their efforts to stop the genocide in Myanmar.
7. Contact the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UNHCR Refugee Agency, and the UNHCR Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide to demand an end to the genocide in Myanmar.
8. Contact your congressional representative and ask him or her to introduce legislation to pressure the Myanmar junta to stop the genocide.

The 'Crusader Rifle' was “designed to never be used by Muslim terrorists,” and is inscribed with Psalms 144:1: “Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.”
Made by Spike's Tactical in Apopka, Florida, the gun is also inscribed with a Knight's Templar Long Cross – a Christian crusader symbol.
The company's spokesman, former Navy SEAL Ben ‘Mookie’ Thomas, told the Orlando Sentinel that he came up with the idea and believes that no devout Muslim would touch the weapon.
"Off the cuff I said I'd like to have a gun that if a Muslim terrorist picked it up a bolt of lightning would hit and knock him dead," Thomas said.
The firearm – which costs $1,395 – appears to be a popular choice. According to Spike Tactical's website, the 'Crusader Rifle' is taking up to two weeks to ship “due to overwhelming media response.”
The gun is also being proudly sold at Florida Gun Supply, a store that recently came under fire for declaring the premises a “Muslim free zone.”
“It's not because we want to have war. It's because our desire is the same desire as everybody else – we want peace. But unfortunately, if we want peace, we have to prepare for war,” Florida Gun Supply owner Andy Hallinan told RT's Ruptly agency.
“We are frustrated with evil Islam, and radical Islam in this country. And businesses like myself and Spike's Tactical are standing up and trying to make a difference,” he added.
The gun has drawn criticism from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) of Florida, which asked whether the 'Crusader Rifle' was designed for “Christian terrorists.”
“Sadly, this manufacturer’s fancy new gun won’t do anything to stop the real threat in America: the escalating problem of gun violence,” said Hasan Shibly, executive director of CAIR-Florida, as quoted by Raw Story.
“This is just another shameful marketing ploy intended to profit from the promotion of hatred, division, and violence.”
However, Thomas says the goal is not to “offend or alienate.”
That sentiment was echoed by Hallinan, who said: “I don't think this is a racist or bigoted term. I just think this is marketed to a different type of consumer.”
Founded in 2001, Spike's Tactical makes about 10,000 custom rifles a year. While Thomas says his company would never produce a rifle with verses from the Koran for Muslim customers, it does make special models for women, including an AR-15 called 'Pure Estrogen.'
Inventions aimed at deterring Islamic terrorists have made headlines before.

The move comes as the UN disarmament chief, Angela Kane, arrived in Damascus to press the Syrian government to allow UN inspectors to investigate the site of the alleged chemical attack this week.
Mr Hagen said: "The president has asked the Defence Department for options. Like always, the Defence Department is prepared and has been prepared to provide all options for all contingencies to the president of the US."
He said he expected US intelligence to "swiftly" assess whether the Syrian government did use chemical weapons in two Damascus suburbs.
Mr Obama last year threatened to punish Assad's regime if it resorted to using chemical weapons during the conflict, saying the use of weapons of mass destruction constituted a "red line" being crossed.
Russia on Friday joined calls for a swift probe into the alleged chemical weapon attack.
Britain and France have pressed for a team of UN inspectors already in Syria to be granted immediate access to the sites of the gas attack that activists say killed more than 130 people.

The explosive photographs, reportedly taken in Fallujah in 2004, have already sparked a Marine Corps investigation, but many of the 41 gag-inducing shots are just too grisly to publish.
Two pictures show a Marine pouring what looks like gasoline on the remains of enemy soldiers and another two images appear to show the remains go up in flames. Two more capture the horrifically charred bodies.

The sick snaps were exclusively obtained by TMZ, who turned them over to the Pentagon last week, triggering the probe.
According to the website, U.S. Central Command, which is in charge of military operations in the Middle East, reviewed the photos to determine if they had been brought to their attention before.
They determined they had not.
Other horrific pictures show a Marine squatting next to a skull to pose for the camera. His U.S. military uniform is clear, on his face he wears a wide grin and he is pointing his gun at the skeleton.
Another picture shows a soldier rifling through the pockets of the scant remains of an Iraqi soldier.
TMZ said it has withheld the bulk of the images - including one showing a body being eaten by a dog - because they are just too graphic.

The Department of Defense said the pictures appear to show U.S. soldiers in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. The code outlines that it is a crime to mishandle remains.
There is no statute of limitations on the crime, which means the Marines can be prosecuted even if they're no longer active in the military. If convicted, the soldiers could go to prison.
'We are aware of photos appearing on TMZ.com that depict individuals in U.S. Marine uniforms burning what appear to be human remains,' Cmdr Bill Speaks, from the Secretary of Defense's office, told MailOnline Wednesday.

Some have suggested the Marines may have been burning the remains as a sanitary measure.
However, Pentagon spokesman Army Col. Steven Warren said the proper handling of war remains is set by U.S. military regulation and that the actions depicted in the photos 'are not what we expect from our service members.'
Cmdr Speaks said the deplorable acts depicted in the images are not representative of the millions of hardworking men and women who have served in the Middle East.
'The actions depicted in these photos are not what we expect from our service members, nor do they represent the honorable and professional service of the more than 2.5 million Americans who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan,' he told MailOnline.
In 2005 report, U.S. soldiers in Gumbad, Afghanistan were investigated for burning the bodies of two enemy fighters.
The men argued they set alight the corpses for hygienic reasons, after local citizens had not retrieved the bodies after 24 hours.
A report concluded that the action indicated poor judgement but was not a war crime.
It stated: 'Based on the criminal investigation, there was no evidence to substantiate the allegation of desecration or any violation of the Law of War. However, there was evidence of poor decision-making and judgment, poor reporting and lack of knowledge and respect for local Afghan customs and tradition.'

The men argued they set alight the corpses for hygienic reasons, after local citizens had not retrieved the bodies after 24 hours.
A report concluded that the action indicated poor judgement but was not a war crime.
It stated: 'Based on the criminal investigation, there was no evidence to substantiate the allegation of desecration or any violation of the Law of War. However, there was evidence of poor decision-making and judgment, poor reporting and lack of knowledge and respect for local Afghan customs and tradition.'
