NY Times: Trump Officials Are Said to Press Spies to Link Virus and Wuhan Labs

The recent anti-China rumblings coming out of the Trump administration are very intriguing because -- as regular readers of The Anti-New York Times all know by now -- the Coronavirus / Covid Scamdemic (Stupid-19) amounts to little more than the common cold -- with the "death toll" being ridiculous padded by mass murder and death certificate fraud. Surely, Trump understands this better than anyone. So then, what's the real reason for this "Punish China" drumbeat?

"Senior administration officials have pushed American spy agencies to hunt for evidence to support an unsubstantiated theory that a government laboratory in Wuhan, China, was the origin of the coronavirus outbreak. The effort comes as President Trump escalates a public campaign to blame China for the pandemic. In a statement released on Thursday, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence said that the intelligence community “will continue to rigorously examine emerging information and intelligence to determine whether the outbreak began through contact with infected animals or if it was the result of an accident at a laboratory in Wuhan.” (emphasis added)

For the Patriotard / FOXtard Neo-Con "USA! USA!" tough guys always itching for conflict with someone somewhere -- the motive for this anti-China hysteria is self-evident. But what's Trump's deal?

Trump is pointing his finger at the Wuhan Lab in China. Why?

There are two plausible theories behind Trump's strategic motive for knowingly advancing this 'Wuhan Lab" anti-China story-line --- with a third theory (the one which we lean toward) being a hybrid -- a "twofer" of the options we are about to present.

Theory #1:

Trump is portraying Chinese safety standards as being lax in order to enhance his case for bringing critical industries back to the United States. This places him in a much stronger position with regard to ongoing trade negotiations with the Chinese. As the argument goes: "If we don't establish domestic supply lines here in the United States, we put our nation at risk. America First!" (our words)

Actually, this calculated pullback of U.S. companies had already been happening even before Stupid-19 -- as the headlines below confirm:

CNBC (September 1, 2019) -- Trump Ordered U.S. Firms to Ditch China

RollCall (July 22, 2019) -- Trump Says 'Thousands' of Companies are Leaving China

NY Times (April 5, 2019) -- One Trump Victory: Companies Rethink China

And now:

Forbes (April 7, 2020) -- Data Shows U.S. Companies Definitely Leaving China

1. 'This is business, not personal." --- Nationalists Trump and Xi respect each other and have a common foe --- but that doesn't mean that Trump won't play hardball with China when it comes to restructuring trade deals and bringing U.S. companies and jobs back. // 2. From Forbes article: "U.S. companies are leaving China thanks to the trade war. They’ll leave even more thanks to the pandemic. Sorry, Davos Man. Your China-led globalization is going out of style like bell bottoms."

Theory #2:

Trump's focus on the Wuhan Lab is actually a hunting-down of the Gates-Fauci Mafia -- as foretold to us last week by Trump's loyal agent, Rudy Giuliani. Here's what Rambling Rudy had to say:

“Back in 2014, the Obama administration prohibited the U.S. from giving money to any laboratory, including in the U.S., that was fooling around with these viruses. Prohibited! Despite that, Dr. Fauci gave $3.7 million to the Wuhan laboratory.

And then even after the State Department issued reports about how unsafe that laboratory was, and how suspicious they were in the way they were developing a virus that could be transmitted to humans, we never pulled that money. We never pulled that money. Something here is going on, John. I don’t want to make any accusations. But there was more knowledge about what was going on in China with our scientific people than they disclosed to us when this first came out.

Just think of it: If this laboratory turns out to be the place where the virus came from, then we paid for it. We paid for the damn virus that’s killing us."

Giuliani said that if he were a U.S. attorney today:

“I’d open an investigation into the Wuhan laboratory. And I’d want to know what did we know? How much did we know about how bad the practices were there? Who knew about it? And who sent them money anyway? And that person would sure as heck be in front of a grand jury trying to explain to me — what are you asleep?”

An exposure of the Wuhan lab scandal could simultaneously bring down the anti-Xi Chinese Deep State faction of China as well as the Gates-Fauci bio-terrorist / econo-terrorist Mafia. What if it's not Xi that Trump's people are going after? What if "the Chinese" are just being used as a good cover for what's really about to be discovered?

Trump's confirmed fixation on the Wuhan Lab -- the Giuliani allegations -- and the Slimes evident concern over the subject -- are all hopeful indicators that the perpetrators of the Stupid-19 debacle may one day be held accountable for this latest failed coup attempt.
