A.J.MACDONALD JR - CHRISTIANITY

Hebrews 13 (English Standard Version)

Posted on

1Let brotherly love continue. 2Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. 3Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. 4Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. 5Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6So we can confidently say,

“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear;
what can man do to me?”

7Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. 8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. 9Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them. 10We have an altar from which those who serve the tent have no right to eat. 11For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy places by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp. 12So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood. 13Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured.14For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come. 15Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. 16Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
17Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.
18Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things. 19I urge you the more earnestly to do this in order that I may be restored to you the sooner.
20Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, 21equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in usa that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

“so that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on earth”

“[A]nd their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that symbolically is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified” [where = Jerusalem] (Revelation 11:8).
“And in her [Babylon] was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on earth” (Revelation 18:24).
Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your synagogues and persecute from town to town, so that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of innocent Abel to the blood of Zechariah the son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar. Truly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation” ~ Jesus (Matthew 23:34-36).
What nation other than Israel could be covenantally responsible for all the blood of the prophets and saints and of all the righteous blood shed on earth?

The Bible’s use of cataclysmic symbolism to represent the destruction of national, political, and religious orders

Interestingly enough, when we allow scripture to interpret scripture, the Bible’s use of cataclysmic cosmic symbolism in order to represent the destruction (or: end) of a national, political, and religious order becomes very apparent, as is the fact that such symbolism should not be taken literally, as if there were to be a soon-coming cosmic cataclysm.
For example, Joel (2:28-32) tells us: ““And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. Even on the male and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes. And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the LORD has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the LORD calls.”
When the Holy Spirit fell on the day of Pentecost St. Peter (Acts 2:14-21) proclaimed: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give ear to my words. For these people are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: “‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke; the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day. And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’”
Isaiah (13:10) describes the destruction of Babylon: “For the stars of the heavens and their constellations will not give their light; the sun will be dark at its rising, and the moon will not shed its light.”
Isaiah (34:4) speaks of God’s judgement upon the nations as: “All the host of heaven shall rot away, and the skies roll up like a scroll. All their host shall fall, as leaves fall from the vine, like leaves falling from the fig tree.”
Ezekiel (32:7-8) describes the destruction of Egypt: “When I blot you out, I will cover the heavens and make their stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give its light. All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over you, and put darkness on your land, declares the Lord GOD.”

Jesus (Matthew 24:29) describes the destruction of Jerusalem and the Jewish religious/political order: “Immediately after the distress of those days ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’”
St. John (Revelation 6:12) tells us: “I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red”
This cataclysmic cosmic symbolism is the way the prophets spoke of the end of a national, political, and religious order (Babylon, Egypt, Jerusalem) and is the way in which the writers of scripture represent this destruction to us throughout Bible (both Old and New Testaments).
“Apocalyptic language indicates the fate of nations — As Nahum described the fall of Nineveh, he used apocalyptic language: “The mountains quake before Him, the hills melt, and the earth heaves at His presence” (Nah. 1:5). When Joel talked about the “last days” of Israel as a nation he said, “the sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord” (Joel 2:31). And when Jesus Himself talked about Jerusalem’s destruction in A.D. 70 He said, “immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken” (Matt. 24:29). Thus, apocalyptic language generally describes the fate of nations under the sovereign hand of God. When you see apocalyptic language in Scripture, it is a good idea to look carefully for a nation under judgment from God.” See: “Apocalyptic Language — Can We Understand It?” @ http://edgewoodcoc.org/apocalyptic_language.htm

Sunday June 24, 2012 – Solemnity of St. John the Baptist

“I tell you, among those born of women none is greater than John. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” ~ Jesus (Luke 7:23)

Commentary for the Readings in the Extraordinary Form:
Sunday June 24, 2012 – Solemnity of St. John the Baptist
St. Luke tells us in his Gospel that John was conceived in a miraculous manner and that his parents were Zachary and Elizabeth. He spent his youth in the desert, and at the age of 30 came to Judea and preached near the Jordan. He exhorted the people to do penance because the kingdom of God was at hand. He baptized the Savior in the Jordan. He rebuked Herod Antipas for taking to himself Herodias, the wife of his brother Philip; at the request of the dancing daughter of Herodias he was imprisoned and beheaded.
John the Baptist is the only saint whose birthday is observed by the Church; he is the only saint who was cleansed from original sin in his mother’s womb and who consequently was holy at his birth. The Gospel describes the joy caused by his birth, and recalls that at the circumcision he did not receive the name of his father, as was customary among the Jews, but the name designated by the angel. He was to be the precursor of the Lord, a mission prefigured by that of Isaias and destined for him by God even before his birth.
The Introit tells us that God made John’s “mouth like a sharp sword.” John was uncompromising in his attitude towards sin, condemned fearlessly his incredulous and adulterous generation, and accepted martyrdom rather than flatter or condone the vices of the rich and the mighty.

Fool-proof method for hooking and unhooking semi-trailers

Fool-proof method for hooking and unhooking semi-trailers
Hooking:
What you are doing with the trailer is what’s most important – HOOKING UP TO IT – and this comes first:
  1. FIRST: Makes sure your fifth-wheel is hooked to the trailer kingpin.
  2. Hook-up air and electrical lines to trailer.
  3. LAST: raise landing gear (check that 1 and 2 are done before raising gear).
Unhooking:
What you are doing with the trailer is what’s most important – LEAVING IT TO STAND ON ITS OWN – and this comes first:
  1. FIRST: Lower landing gear.
  2. Unhook air and electrical lines from trailer.
  3. LAST: unhook fifth-wheel (check that 1 and 2 above are done before unhooking fifth-wheel).

On working for justice

I can work with anyone who knows what justice is and is working to build a more just society. But I cannot work with people who cannot explain or define justice, and I cannot work with those who are working to make our society an even more unjust place than it already is.
I don’t have to agree with someone on everything, just so long as they have a good understanding of justice and are working for the same.
In the end, I think justice will defeat our unjust pet political positions, once we see them as the true injustices they are. Unfortunately, many of my FB friends prefer to name-call those with whom they disagree, and are hard-pressed, when challenged, to give a concise and accurate definition of “justice”. Sadly, name-calling is much easier than thinking, and putting our unjust pet political positions (e.g., endless unjust wars, endless unjust abortions on demand, an endlessly unjust minimum wage) under the scrutiny of justice.

Law, Justice, and the Ignorance of the American People

I am firmly convinced that most Americans today are philosophically incapable of comprehending the following statement regarding law, which was made by Dr King 50 years ago. His entire movement was based upon natural law, which is what America was founded, judicially, upon, at it’s beginnings. And without the philosophical anvil of natural law Dr. King would have been unable to hammer-out the rights which were due him and others of his race under natural law: equal civil rights for black Americans.
Today, were I to pen the exact same statement as Dr King, I would be pilloried as a small-minded, egotistical control freak who is trying to force my morality upon people, as well as a religious “nutjob” with scary neo-fascist and theocratic tendencies, when, in fact, nothing could be further from the truth. To the folks who have called me all of these things, I ask: Can you comprehend the brief, following statement by Dr King regarding law and justice? Or can you not? If not, do your homework, as Dr. King and I have done.
St. Augustine

From Dr King’s “A Letter from Birmingham Jail” (1963):*

“One may well ask: “How can you advocate breaking some laws and obeying others?” The answer lies in the fact that there are two types of laws: just and unjust. I would be the first to advocate obeying just laws. One has not only a legal but a moral responsibility to obey just laws. Conversely, one has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws. I would agree with St. Augustine that “an unjust law is no law at all.”

St. Thomas Aquinas

Now, what is the difference between the two? How does one determine whether a law is just or unjust? A just law is a man made code that squares with the moral law or the law of God. An unjust law is a code that is out of harmony with the moral law. To put it in the terms of St. Thomas Aquinas: An unjust law is a human law that is not rooted in eternal law and natural law. Any law that uplifts human personality is just. Any law that degrades human personality is unjust. All segregation statutes are unjust because segregation distorts the soul and damages the personality. It gives the segregator a false sense of superiority and the segregated a false sense of inferiority.” ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

Cui bono? Who benefits? What nation-state benefitted from the 9/11 attacks?

Cui bono? Who benefits? What nation-state benefitted from the 9/11 attacks?
“Cui bono (‘To whose benefit?’, literally ‘as a benefit to whom?’, a double dative construction), also rendered as Cui prodest, is a Latin adage that is used either to suggest a hidden motive or to indicate that the party responsible for something may not be who it appears at first to be.
Commonly the phrase is used to suggest that the person or people guilty of committing a crime may be found among those who have something to gain, chiefly with an eye toward financial gain. The party that benefits may not always be obvious or may have successfully diverted attention to a scapegoat, for example.”
See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cui_bono
“The Israeli newspaper Ma’ariv on Wednesday reported that Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu told an audience at Bar Ilan university that the September 11, 2001 terror attacks had been beneficial for Israel.
‘We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq,’ Ma’ariv quoted the former prime minister as saying. He reportedly added that these events ‘swung American public opinion in our favor.’”
See: http://www.haaretz.com/news/report-netanyahu-says-9-11-terror-attacks-good-for-israel-1.244044
Unlike Israel, I can’t see how al Qaeda, Iraq, Afghanistan, or Muslims in general can be considered to have benefitted in any way from the 9/11 attacks.
Was 9/11 a state sponsored false-flag attack perpetrated by Israel, which was then blamed upon a Muslim scapegoat (= al Qaeda)?

And what about WTC building 7, which came down on the afternoon of 9/11? It was never hit by an airliner hijacked by Muslims and it housed the offices of the FBI, CIA, SEC, DoD, as well as the NYC mayor’s emergency command center. How did al Qaeda manage to pull this off? Or was it Israel?

Were there numerous secondary devices and explosions at ground zero on 9/11? And why haven’t we seen the many news reports of this? Scott Pelley, current CBS News anchorman, said, on 9/11, there were numerous explosions going off every 10-15 minutes at ground zero:

Whatever happened to these men? And whatever happened to the men who were arrested with the van full of explosives near the GW bridge on 9/11? Were they Muslims? or Israeli Jews? Had they been Muslims, they would be in prison today. As it was, they were all Israeli Jews, with military backgrounds, and they were soon afterward released by the FBI and returned to Israel.

If it were in fact Muslims who were arrested in the round-up after 9/11, would this not have been BIG news? As it was, since they were Israelis, are we to consider these Israeli spies our friends? Friends with advance knowledge of 9/11 who didn’t bother to warn us about the attacks?
Who had the access and expertise necessary to carry out the attacks of 9/11? And who benefitted from these attacks? Col. Sobrosky tells us the ugly truth:

Who has recently threatened president Barack Obama with assassination – in public and in print? Muslims? or Jews?

These are our friends? With “friends” like Israel the US will never lack an enemy.
What nation-state was born (in 1947) from bloodshed and terror? Israel.
See: The King David Hotel bombing (1946)
The FBI never did officially charge Osama bin Laden with the 9/11 terror attacks, citing lack of evidence.
The US military, at the highest levels, is well aware it is 100% certain 9/11 was a Mossad operation. Do you still believe the US government’s story: that 9/11 was perpetrated by 19 Muslim hijackers with box-cutters?
VIDEO – The US Military Knows Israel Did 9/11
It saddens me to write about this, again. After more than ten years, with all of the evidence that is available for researchers, there is no excuse for continuing to perpetrate the official USG mythology of 9/11. To continue to do so, at this point in time, is nothing short of treason. To deny the truth about 9/11 is to deny the evidence available to all, to deny science, and to provide cover for the murderous criminals who perpetrated it: our “ally” Israel. Call me a “truther” if you will. I will call you a traitor to America.

* "MLK" was a liar, plagiarist, pervert, fornicator, a bloody Zionist, and a Muslim and Arab hater!  Some say he was not even a Christian!

He was sucking to the White racists, the Jews, homosexuals, Socialists and Communists!
