"Radical Islam cleric" (the usual fascist and racist label! BAFS) Abu Qatada wins appeal against deportation

Despite the Government declaring that it 'strongly disagreed' with the ruling, the Jordanian cleric has again avoided deportation after thwarting officials' attempts to get him on a plane.

Terror suspect Abu Qatada was dramatically allowed to stay in the UK today after winning an appeal against his extradition to Jordan.
The Islamist preacher, described as Osama bin Laden's right-hand man in Europe, won a legal victory in Central London today, in a deportation saga which has cost the UK government nearly £1m in legal fees.

Despite the Government declaring that it 'strongly disagreed' with the ruling, the Jordanian cleric has again avoided deportation after thwarting officials' attempts to get him on a plane.

The decision will come as a huge blow to Home Secretary Theresa May, who is due to make a statement on the issue this afternoon.

Abu Qatada is facing a retrial on terror charges after he was convicted in his absence in Jordan in 1998 for involvement in terror attacks.

The radical cleric's lawyers won the right for him to stay on UK soil after successfully arguing that he won't get a fair trial in his native Jordan.

Britain had moved to send him to Jordan after interior minister Theresa May was given assurances by the Jordanian authorities that no evidence gained through torture would be used against him in a retrial on his return.

A previous hearing on Qatada's appeal had heard that his plea against deportation 'bore all the hallmarks of a last-ditch argument'.

Home Secretary Theresa May was due to make an announcement on the appeal this afternoon (PA)

The Special Immigration Appeals Commission handed down its judgement on Qatada today shortly after noon, with the Home Office announcing straight away it was seeking leave to appeal the decision.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) had ruled earlier this year that the 51-year-old could not be deported while there was a "real risk that evidence obtained by torture will be used against him".

But when the British immigration commission heard Abu Qatada's appeal last month its leader, senior judge John Mitting, said that some of the evidence against him was "extremely thin".

The news of Qatada's success prompted a flurry of outraged reaction, with many taking to Twitter to voice their displeasure that the radical cleric had won another legal battle against the Government.

Author and journalist Tony Parsons tweeted: "Bitterly ironic that Abu Qatada gets to stay in the UK the day after Remembrance Sunday - brave men fought for freedoms we have given away."

Lord Sugar, meanwhile, posted to his 2.46m followers: "Abu Qatada wins appeal against deportation to Jordan for trial. Means he will claim benefits in UK. Will provide £1m house in Notting Hill."  (The usual racist and fascist rhethoric!!! BAFS)

Abu Qatada has spent most of the last seven years in British jails and is being held in a high-security prison (for no crime committed!!! BAFS) while he fights deportation.

In October Britain extradited another radical Islamist preacher, Abu Hamza, and four other terror suspects at the end of a long legal battle.

Qatada Given Bail After Winning Latest Appeal

Abu Qatada is to be freed after winning his latest appeal against extradition, in a major blow to Home Secretary Theresa May.
The Special Immigration Appeals Commission (Siac) decided the radical cleric would not get a fair trial in Jordan because evidence obtained via torture could be used against him.
This is despite the Home Secretary securing assurances from the country that this would not happen.
Qatada will be released on bail after Home Office lawyers failed to persuade Siac judges he should remain behind bars.
They insisted that the Palestinian-born Jordanian cleric, real name Omar Mahmoud Mohammed Othman, poses "an enormous risk to national security".
But Edward Fitzgerald QC, for Qatada, declared: "Enough is enough. It has gone on for many years now. There is no prospect of deportation taking place within a reasonable time, in fact there is no prospect at present of deportation at all."
The successful appeal is the latest twist in a battle that has lasted more than a decade.
Siac has already rejected the Government's application to challenge the decision but permission can still be sought at the Court of Appeal. Home Secretary Theresa May announced to MPs in the House of Commons that she will contest the ruling.
"Last year the Jordanian constitution was amended to make clear that not only is torture forbidden, but that any statement extracted from a person under duress or the threat thereof, shall neither be taken into consideration nor relied on," she said.
"Despite these assurances to allow Qatada a fair trial and despite the change to the Jordanian constitution, in the absence of clear case law, Mr Justice Mitting still found in Qatada's favour. In doing so, we believe he applied the wrong legal test."
Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper agreed that, while "every avenue should be pursued" to secure Qatada's deportation, Ms May was to blame for errors which led to the Siac ruling.
"There has been a catalogue of confusion and mistakes over Abu Qatada from this Home Secretary, including getting basic dates wrong earlier this year," she said.
"The Home Secretary needs to say urgently what she is now doing to get Abu Qatada's deportation back on track and to keep the public safe in the meantime. We cannot have any more mistakes that simply leave the public at risk."
Speaking outside Siac, Qatada's solicitor Gareth Peirce said: "It is important to reaffirm this country's position that we abhor the use of torture and a case that was predicated upon evidence from witnesses who have been tortured is rejected - rejected by the courts of this country as by the European Court.
"We clearly agree with the decision, of course we do, but it is important to emphasise the fundamental rules of law that we subscribe to. To that extent, it is important for other cases, not just for this case."
Asked about the inevitable reaction of the British public to Qatada's release, she said: "We understand that this is a difficult case that has been challenging for everyone, of course we understand that.
"But I think the time has come in the world, with the conflicts in the world, for us to talk to each other and understand each other and enter into dialogue, and perhaps nothing is as black and white as it is painted."
The Home Office said the Government "strongly disagreed" with the ruling.
"We have obtained assurances not just in relation to the treatment of Qatada himself, but about the quality of the legal processes that would be followed throughout his trial," a spokesman said.
"Indeed, today's ruling found that 'the Jordanian judiciary, like their executive counterparts, are determined to ensure that the appellant will receive, and be seen to receive, a fair retrial'. We will therefore seek leave to appeal."
Qatada, once described by a judge as Osama bin Laden's right-hand man in Europe, was allowed to stay in Britain in 1994 but was convicted of terror charges in Jordan in his absence in 1999.
The cleric, who is said to have wide and high-level support among extremists, featured in hate sermons found on videos in the flat of one of the September 11 bombers.
In December 2001, he became one of Britain's most wanted men after going on the run from his home in west London. He was arrested almost a year later and detained in Belmarsh prison.
He has been in and out of jail in the intervening years and was rearrested in April amid hopes in Government that he could finally be removed from the country.
His legal team lodged a fresh appeal at the European Court of Human Rights but lost, and took the fight back to the British courts and Siac.
At the hearing last month, Jordan expert Professor Beverley Milton-Edwards warned that a fair trial for Qatada there was "unlikely".

Israel, the British government, the Murdoch scandal, 9/11, 7/7 and the next nuclear false flag during the London 2012 Olympic games

Why Mossad, the MI5 and Theresa May want to silence Abu Qatada, Abu Hamza, Muhammad Al Masaari, and anybody saying that Israel is behind the Algerian civil war, 9/11, 7/7, and the next nuclear attack on the London Olympic games in London (Code 9) ?

Abu Hamza said on British television that he believed Israel was behind 9/11, now Israeli run British  government wants to extradite him to the USA to silence him.
In 2005, Dr Muhammad al Masaari, a Saudi opponent, founder of the Al Tajdeed website, explained during one of his programs that French-Algerian-Israelis fake groups, naming themselves the GIAs (Armed "Islamic" Group)*, were entering from Morocco during the 1995-1999, and literally slaughtering innocent people in Algeria, raping women, beheading babies and blaming it on the FIS, Islamic Front of Salvation, dispossessed from his victory illegally by a coup d'etat.

Dr Al Masaari was raided by the MI6, who stopped the broadcasting of his live program and threatened him by deportation if he was to speak out openly about the GIAs and the links with France and Israel.

What are the links between the GIAs and the Israeli run MOD?  What are the links between Israel, France, Germany, Great Britain and the GIA-AQIM and their creator general Larbi Belkheir (real name Jospeh Cohen Solal Abulker) and the Algerian military secret services (DRS), headed by another Algerian  Jew, general Mohamed Mediene, called Tewfik?
What are the links between Reda Hasssaine and the DRS, MOD, DGSE? Is he simply an agent or was his job to silence Abu Qatada to cover up the French-Algerian-Israelis GIA-AQIM terrorist  networks and war crimes in Algeria?
Why David Cameron is panicking, when next week elections are to be held in Algeria?

Why is it that during the 11 September 2001, Algerians published on their websites that 9/11 was an israeli operation and were arrested by the french DGSE and jailed in Paris without trial?

Why is it that the same information was provided to the Azzam website, based in Birmingham and the website was shut down immediately by the MI6?

Is the coming fall of the military junta in Algeria explains the panic in Tel Aviv, Paris, London and Washington ?

Or is this simply the lost of the oil, gas, military hundred of billions of kick backs contracts?

Why did the British government not act when the same Algerians website in Paris explained the 5th July 2005, 48 hours before the bombings, that Israel was to bomb Paris or London undergrounds, depending of which country will have the Olympic games?
What did Chirac, Bouteflika, Blair, Cameron discuss the 7th July 2005 at the G8 summit in Gleaneagles?

Why did Blair transferred Rachid Ramda (an innocent man blamed for the 1995 bombings in Paris) to France  after public  allegations of  direct french-british-israelis terrorist networks involvement in the London bombings?
Why did the MOD ignore the warnings made 48 hours before the attacks in London in July 2005?
Why Israelis 'security companies' accused of being involved and which failed to protect innocent people in London the underground the 7th July 2005, are working on the security of the Olympic Games sites in 2012?
Why the same Algerians warning about a nuclear attack during next summer games are again ignored?
Why these Algerians are threatened by the MOD ?

Why their names had been removed from the 'Operation Weeting list' of people hacked by Murdoch intelligence networks?
Why confidential information contained in our computers were published on the 7th July 2005 by the Times (a known mossad front)?
What are the real purposes of the hacking networks put in place by the Murdoch newspapers empire?
What are the links between Murdoch, Israel and the the major terrorists operations of the last decade, the Iraq war and the coming invasion of Iran, the next nuclear 9/11 false flag, Andrew Warren, ex-CIA director in Algiers, Breivik,  and the Montauban, Toulouse operations?
Why Lord James of Blackheath who confirmed laundered money for the GIA-AQIM in the UK was not arrested and quizzed?

We've busted the GIAs and faked terrorist groups set up by general Larbi Belkheir, French, British, German, Israeli, American and NATO clandestine terror networks. But oil, gas, military kick backs contracts are part of the big business of the 'Arab Spring' that started in Algeria in 1992...
Abu Qatada was in Algeria in the 1990s, he probably saw and understood what was the real purpose of the GIAs, a French-Israeli-Algerian front, if he speaks out he will bust openly the fake groups set up by the Zionists networks in Europe and many of the terrorist operations that happened during the last decade from 9/11 in New York to Madrid and London. That's why Mossad wants to silence him.

The second reason is that Israel is preparing a nuclear attack on the London Olympic games, please read here our previous warnings
Abdelqader Layada, emir of the French-GIAs, explained that the French government was helping him to start a civil war in Algeria in 1992
Abu Qatada was in Algeria during the 1990s, the man you see in this picture above is Abdelqader Layada, the first 'emir' or commander of the GIA and here what he has to say about his links with French government and the DST during an interview with France 24 the 12th July 2009 (you'll need a translator). He said that the french DST was using him to start the civil war in Algeria and to fight the FIS, legal winner of 1992 elections.
Mossad website SITE, owned by Rita Katz, a mossad officer, confirmed that Israel is now taking in charge the transfer of Abu Qatada very seriously as it is harming the Israeli government now and undermining France, Great Britain secret services. Please read here
The fake groups created by General Larbi Belkheir, (Joseph Abulker) and General Mohamed Mediene called Tewfik, both of them are Algerian Jews,  have apparently kidnapped a Briton somewhere in Mali and are asking to transfer Abu Qatada in a country liberated by the 'Arab spring'. Pure invention from Tel Aviv!

Confirming to the world the direct links between the Algerian DRS and the Mossad in creating terrorism in North Africa. AQIM, Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, is the new name of the GIA. The goal of the israelis, NATO, France, US, UK, is exactly the same as in Libya, Iraq create havoc, terrorism, chaos, invade, kill the people 'under humanitarian excuses' or 'barbarism excuses', and steal the oil and gas fields....

Charles Pasqua, Nicolas Sarkozy are both Mossadniks

Abdelqader Layada was the 'commander or the emir' of the fake group set up by the french FBI, la DST, named the GIA in 1991. The GIAs were set up to fight the FIS, Islamic Front Salvation, led by Sheykh Ali Benhadj and Abassi Madani. This party won the election in 1992, but they were overthrowed by a military coup d'etat led by general Larbi Belkheir (French-Israeli-Algerian networks) and by the former French president François Mitterand and his aids, from the extreme right wing linked to the Gladio NATO clandestine networks, Charles Pasqua (political father of Nicolas Sarkozy) and Jean Charles Marchiani. These organised the coup d'état with the French-Algerian-Israeli locals, Generals Mohamed Touati, Khaled Nezzar, Mohamed Lamari, Smain Lamari, Gaid Salah, Mohamed Mediene, called Tewfik and others from the army and the FLN party.
The Algerian Jew general Mohammed Mediene, head of the Algerian secret military services, created the GIAs-AQIM in Algeria with the help of the French government with the goal to dismantle Algeria and help steal the oil, gas.
General Mohammed Mediene, current head of the Algerian secret military services was in the office of the dual citizen, American-Israeli, Georges Tenet, head of the CIA, during the day of  9/11.

This, according to Tenet 'memoires' :At the Center of the Storm: My Years at the CIA ... where page 174:' “Mohammed Mediene, the Algerian intelligence chief, was in Washington when al-qa’ida struck. Like Avi Dichter, he knew up close the pain and challenge of terrorism and he too, could not have conducted himself in a more dignified manner or been…'

Now when we say Israel is behind 9/11, Madrid, London, and there is a coming nuclear 9/11 coming in Europe, does this make sense to you all?

Principal motivations of the French was to keep the oil, gas fields under France control. While in 1991, Bush senior was invading and seizing the Iraqis oils fields, Saddam, like Gaddafi were  'good clients' for France in term of defense and oil industry contracts.

Abu Qatada was probably framed and was 'hired' by Abdelqader Layada to make Algerians and Muslims believe that slaughter of other Muslims 'was allowed', which is somehing Abu Qatada denies.

The massacres in Algeria were carried out by the GIAs mercenaries from ex-Yougoslavia and South Africa, and the 'barbarism' was blamed on 'Islaam' and the FIS. Abu Qatada knows probably a lot more and will have a lot to say publicly about terrorism coming from London, Paris, Washington or Tel Aviv.  That's why Theresa May and Jonathan Evans want to kill him by sending him back to Jordan.
550 000 deaths, 50 000 disappeared, millions of refuges in Algeria since the last two decades, if the military junta fall in Algeria next week, France, UK, US, Germany and Israel will fall under terrorism scandals one after the other from 9/11  to the Olympic games, that's probably why May is working day and night to silence Muslims in London.
If you add to this the claim of Lord James of Blackheath, who laundered money for the GIA-AQIM, Belkheir, Tewfik, Blair in the UK, please read here, we are on the brink of something big coming right in front of us, please read the last article from Gordon Duff VT website here, Raw Reports, Nuclear Threat from Germany and a possible nuclear attack in the UK, here

An international investigation must be opened in the UK for complicity of genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity during the civil war in Algeria and in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya as well.
We've got you by the balls!!!

What to Say at Times of Grief, Concern, and Sadness

At times of distress the Messenger of Allah (SAW) would say:
"La ilaha illa allahu al-atheemu al-haleemu, la ilaha illa allahu rabbul ar shil-atheemi, la ilaha illa allahu rabbus-samawati wa rabbul-ar thi wa rabbul-ar shil-kareem"
"La ilaha illa allahu al-atheemu al-haleemu, la ilaha illa allahu rabbul ar shil-atheemi, la ilaha illa allahu rabbus-samawati wa rabbul-ar thi wa rabbul-ar shil-kareem"
(Agreed Upon by Bukhari and Muslim)
The English meaning is: There is no ilah except Allah the Magnificent, The Forbearing. There is no ilah except Allah Lord of the Magnificent Throne. There is no ilah except Allah Lord of the Heavens, Lord of the Earth, and Lord of the Noble Throne.
It is reported of the Prophet (SAW) that if something distressed him he would say:

"Ya hayyu ya qayyumu, bi-rahmatika astagheeth"
"Ya hayyu ya qayyumu, bi-rahmatika astagheeth" (At Tirmidhi)

The English meaning is: O' Living (a life not followed by death), O Sustainer, in your Mercy I plead for rescue
Abu Bakr (RA) stated that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said "The supplications of the distressed are:

"Allahumma rah mataka ar joo, fala takilnee ila naf see tar fata ay nin, wa as lih lee sha'nee kullahu, la ilaha illa an t" (Abu Dawud)
The English meaning is: O' my ilah it is your Mercy that I beseech, so do not entrust me to myself for even a twinkle of an eye, and correct for me all my affairs, there is no ilah other than You.
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said to Asma bint Umaysin: "Shall I not teach you a few words which you can say when you are distressed - or at the time of distress -

"Allahu allahu rabbee la ush riku bihi shay an"
"Allahu allahu rabbee la ush riku bihi shay an" (Abu Dawud)
The English meaning is: Allah, Allah my Lord I associate not with Him a thing.
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "The petition of Thin-Noon (Jonah) which he petitioned with when he was inside the whale:

"La ilaha illah an ta, sub hanaka innee kun tu minath-thalimeen"

"La ilaha illah an ta, sub hanaka innee kun tu minath-thalimeen" (At-Tirmithi)
The English meaning is: There is no ilah except You, Glorified are Thee, I have been one of the unjust.
"No Muslim ever supplicated Allah with this supplication in any matter at all, except that Allah answered his supplication" (At-Tirmithi)
It is reported of the Prophet (SAW) that he said: "No preoccupying concern, or sadness inflicts a bondservant whereupon he says:

"Allahumma innee ab duka, wab nu ab dika, wab nu amatika, nasiyatee biyadika, mathin fiyya huk muka, ad lun fiyya qatha'uka, as aluka bikulli is min huwalaka, sammay ta bihi naf saka, aw an zal tahu fee kitabika, aw allamtahu ahadan min khal qika, aw is ta thar ta bihi fee il mil ghay bi in daka, an taj a'la al-qur ana rabee'a, qal bee, wa noora sawdree, wa jala'a huz nee, wa thahaba hammee" (Ahmad and Ibn Hibban)
The English meaning is: O' my ilah I am your bondservant, son of your bondsman, and son of your bondwoman. My forelock is in your Hands; your judgement is continuously being carried out upon me; your sentence upon me is juste. I ask You with every name that is yours, with which You have named yourself, brought down in your book, taught to one of your creation, or have preferred for Yourself in the hidden knoweldge, with You; that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, and the despellation of my sadness, and deportation of my (preoccupying) concern.
...except that Allah would dispel his concern and his sadness, and would replace it with ease and relaxation for him." (Ahmad and Ibn Hibban)

What to DO at Times of Grief, Concern, and Sadness?

At times of distress learned, authentic, wise and learning Muslims know that this is part of the design of God, and despite all the stories of the past many men and women face such tribulations with courage, faith, patience and in persevering in their efforts (jihaad) to make this world which is not ours but of which we are responsible a better place to live in for all, “the good the bad and the ugly”, by doing the right things in order to prevent, if not all, most of the causes of pain, grief and sufferings, which are definitely of our own doing, whether by direct participation in a wrongful mode of life or by our indifference to what is happening to the world we are forced to live in, and by our selfishness and personal greed for what is unlawful to us in the sight of God, and by all the standards of a decent and moral society.

Qatada deportation back in UK court

Abu Qatada's deportation is in the hands of the British courts after the Jordanian terror suspect lost his attempt to make a final appeal to Europe's human rights judges.
The radical cleric's lawyers immediately applied for him to be released on bail as it looked likely that deportation proceedings will still take many months.
But Home Secretary Theresa May had a narrow escape as, while they rejected the case, the panel of five judges also ruled that Qatada's appeal on the night of April 17 was within the court's deadline.
The decision means Mrs May was wrong when she claimed the three-month appeal deadline from the court's original decision on January 17 expired on the night of April 16, but the mistake will have no serious repercussions.
Qatada's legal team lodged his appeal late on the night of April 17, which the judges ruled was in time.
As is typical, no reasons were given for the panel's refusal to allow the case to be heard by the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
Lawyers for Qatada, described by a judge as Osama bin Laden's right-hand man in Europe, also applied to a senior immigration judge at the Special Immigration Appeals Commission for a fresh bail hearing, but no date has yet been set.

Bush Found Guilty Of War Crimes

By Yvonne Ridley

May 11, 2012 "
Information Clearing House" -- Kuala Lumpur -- IT’S OFFICIAL - George W Bush is a war criminal.

In what is the first ever conviction of its kind anywhere in the world, the former US President and seven key members of his administration were today (Friday) found guilty of war crimes.

Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and their legal advisers Alberto Gonzales, David Addington, William Haynes, Jay Bybee and John Yoo were tried in absentia in Malaysia.

The trial held in Kuala Lumpur heard harrowing witness accounts from victims of torture who suffered at the hands of US soldiers and contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan.

They included testimony from British man Moazzam Begg, an ex-Guantanamo detainee and Iraqi woman Jameelah Abbas Hameedi who was tortured in the notorious Abu Ghraib prison.

At the end of the week-long hearing, the five-panel tribunal unanimously delivered guilty verdicts against Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and their key legal advisors who were all convicted as war criminals for torture and cruel, inhumane and degrading treatment.

Full transcripts of the charges, witness statements and other relevant material will now be sent to the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, as well as the United Nations and the Security Council.

The Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Commission is also asking that the names of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Gonzales, Yoo, Bybee, Addington and Haynes be entered and included in the Commission’s Register of War Criminals for public record.

The tribunal is the initiative of Malaysia's retired Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, who staunchly opposed the American-led invasion of Iraq in 2003.

He sat through the entire hearing as it took personal statements and testimonies of three witnesses namely Abbas Abid, Moazzam Begg and Jameelah Hameedi. The tribunal also heard two other Statutory Declarations of Iraqi citizen Ali Shalal and Rahul Ahmed, another British citizen.

After the guilty verdict reached by five senior judges was delivered, Mahathir Mohamad said: “Powerful countries are getting away with murder.”

War crimes expert and lawyer Francis Boyle, professor of international law at the University of Illinois College of Law in America, was part of the prosecution team.

After the case he said: “This is the first conviction of these people anywhere in the world.”

While the hearing is regarded by some as being purely symbolic, human rights activist Boyle said he was hopeful that Bush and Co could soon find themselves facing similar trials elsewhere in the world.

“We tried three times to get Bush in Canada but were thwarted by the Canadian Government, then we scared Bush out of going to Switzerland. The Spanish attempt failed because of the government there and the same happened in Germany.”

Boyle then referenced the Nuremberg Charter which was used as the format for the tribunal when asked about the credibility of the initiative in Malaysia. He quoted: “Leaders, organizers, instigators and accomplices participating in the formulation or execution of a common plan or conspiracy to commit war crimes are responsible for all acts performed by any person in execution of such a plan.”

The US is subject to customary international law and to the Principles of the Nuremberg Charter said Boyle who also believes the week-long trial was “almost certainly” being monitored closely by both Pentagon and White House officials.

Professor Gurdial Singh Nijar, who headed the prosecution said: “The tribunal was very careful to adhere scrupulously to the regulations drawn up by the Nuremberg courts and the International Criminal Courts”.

He added that he was optimistic the tribunal would be followed up elsewhere in the world where “countries have a duty to try war criminals” and he cited the case of the former Chilean dictator Augustine Pinochet who was arrested in Britain to be extradited to Spain on charges of war crimes.

“Pinochet was only eight years out of his presidency when that happened.”

The Pinochet case was the first time that several European judges applied the principle of universal jurisdiction, declaring themselves competent to judge crimes committed by former heads of state, despite local amnesty laws.

Throughout the week the tribunal was packed with legal experts and law students as witnesses gave testimony and then cross examination by the defence led by lawyer Jason Kay Kit Leon.

The court heard how
· Abbas Abid, a 48-year-old engineer from Fallujah in Iraq had his fingernails removed by pliers.
· Ali Shalal was attached with bare electrical wires and electrocuted and hung from a wall.
· Moazzam Begg was beaten, hooded and put in solitary confinement.
· Jameelah was stripped and humiliated, and was used as a human shield whilst being transported by helicopter.

The witnesses also detailed how they have residual injuries till today.

Moazzam Begg, now working as a director for the London-based human rights group Cageprisoners said he was delighted with the verdict, but added: “When people talk about Nuremberg you have to remember those tried were all prosecuted after the war.

“Right now Guantanamo is still open, people are still being held there and are still being tortured there.”

In response to questions about the difference between the Bush and Obama Administrations, he added: “If President Bush was the President of extra-judicial torture then US President Barak Obama is the President of extra judicial killing through drone strikes. Our work has only just begun.”

The prosecution case rested on proving how the decision-makers at the highest level President Bush, Vice-President Cheney, Secretary of Defence Rumsfeld, aided and abetted by the lawyers and the other commanders and CIA officials – all acted in concert. Torture was systematically applied and became an accepted norm.

According to the prosecution, the testimony of all the witnesses exposed a sustained perpetration of brutal, barbaric, cruel and dehumanising course of conduct against them.
These acts of crimes were applied cumulatively to inflict the worst possible pain and suffering, said lawyers.

The president of the tribunal Tan Sri Dato Lamin bin Haji Mohd Yunus Lamin, found that the prosecution had established beyond a “reasonable doubt that the accused persons, former President George Bush and his co-conspirators engaged in a web of instructions, memos, directives, legal advice and action that established a common plan and purpose, joint enterprise and/or conspiracy to commit the crimes of Torture and War Crimes, including and not limited to a common plan and purpose to commit the following crimes in relation to the “War on Terror” and the wars launched by the U.S. and others in Afghanistan and Iraq.”

President Lamin told a packed courtroom: “As a tribunal of conscience, the Tribunal is fully aware that its verdict is merely declaratory in nature. The tribunal has no power of enforcement, no power to impose any custodial sentence on any one or more of the 8 convicted persons. What we can do, under Article 31 of Chapter VI of Part 2 of the Charter is to recommend to the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Commission to submit this finding of conviction by the Tribunal, together with a record of these proceedings, to the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, as well as the United Nations and the Security Council.

“The Tribunal also recommends to the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Commission that the names of all the 8 convicted persons be entered and included in the Commission’s Register of War Criminals and be publicised accordingly.

“The Tribunal recommends to the War Crimes Commission to give the widest international publicity to this conviction and grant of reparations, as these are universal crimes for which there is a responsibility upon nations to institute prosecutions if any of these Accused persons may enter their jurisdictions”.

"jihadist material" = ENGLISH SHIT!

Abu Qatada: Terror "Suspect" Loses Bail Appeal

"Radical" cleric Abu Qatada has been refused bail after a judge said significant jihadist material was found on a computer memory stick.

The Special Immigration Appeals Commission refused the application from the terror suspect, who was detained in Belmarsh prison in March after allegedly breaching a bail condition which prevents him from turning mobile phones on in his house.

Qatada, who recently indicated he was willing to leave the UK voluntarily after years fighting deportation, must remain in custody after immigration judge Mr Justice Irwin's ruling.

The judge said: "We regard these breaches as serious. It was the appellant's obligation to understand the conditions of bail and ensure they were adhered to.

"A serious matter relating to the breaches of bail was revealed during the hearing.

"In his witness statement, the appellant assured the Commission that nothing would be found on any of these items other than schoolwork or other innocent material.

"This assurance has proved untrue. Significant jihadist material has been found on a USB stick seized."

Mr Justice Irwin also said there was "no doubt about the national security threat" the radical cleric poses to Britain.

"The essence of that is promulgation of his views in support of violence, and the potential effect on others of that promulgation," he said.

"This appellant has in the past fled in order to avoid a court order, equipping himself with a false passport.
"We reject the submission that he can, even now, be relied on to comply with his legal obligations and not to attempt to abscond."

Earlier this month, it emerged the controversial preacher is willing to return to the Middle East when a treaty between the UK and Jordan is ratified by both countries.

The agreement, unveiled by Home Secretary Theresa May last month, aims to allay fears that evidence extracted through torture will be used against the terror suspect at a retrial.

Qatada's lawyer Daniel Friedman QC told the hearing that the treaty also "raises his prospects of acquittal in relation to what we say are tainted charges".

Mr Friedman argued that Qatada was a "proud and dignified man" who has been held in custody for too long.

He added his client "has been deprived of his liberty more than any other non-convicted person in British history".
